    Факт на 3:12 нужно уточнить.
    Всего на Луну попали 83 космических аппарата. Включая спустившиеся нормально, упавшие аварийно и искусственные спутники Луны которые отработали свою программу и упали. Массы этих аппаратов известны с точностью до килограмма. Общая масса всех аппаратов - 155,31 тонны. Это по состоянию на январь 2024 года. Последним аппаратом попавшим (упавшим) на Луну стал Луна-25 в августе 2023 года, с массой 1,75 тонны...

    I've been wondering this lately and I haven't managed to get much of a straight answer out of Google: Does the moon still have a liquid core like the Earth, or has it solidified completely by this point given its much lower mass? Do we know?

    Does the moon appear to turn upside down in one night?
    No, I'm not talking about how any celestial body appears upside down in the southern Hemisphere. I'm just talking on the basis of my observation.
    I live in the Northern Hemisphere, and over here I can see the Moon (say, it's the first quarter phase) rising, and it appears on the left side, but towards the end of the day, it appears to be of the Last Quarter phase. Why does this happen?

    • @StarWalkApp
      @StarWalkApp  Рік тому

      Are you sure you saw this? It doesn't seem possible.

    • @retrofemme1
      @retrofemme1 Рік тому

      @Srishty Sharma I've not seen the moon flip like that (and would be impossible to swap phases in one night), but I have certainly had eye tricks that make the moon seem like it has rotated its arc like a smile. It is caused by my brain assuming wrong east and west points (no points of reference here such as roads in a planned grid formation) and wrongly sensing like I'm facing the equator. The observation of this illusion is silimar to rhe cause of, but less dramatic than, being in the southern hemisphere and looking back toward equator at an "upside down" moon. It's just about perspective.

    • @srishtysharma
      @srishtysharma Рік тому

      @@retrofemme1 By 'flipping', I don't mean it doing that in just under a second or something like that. I think what you've said is right though, but I don't feel like I get it.

      The moon does spin. It just so happens to rotate at a rate that aligns with its orbit about the earth, keeping one side facing earth. It is tidally locked from our perspective.

    The wonderful coincidence may not be, and American "male" astronauts reference as if their gender is important.

    • @maeguk1

      It is important because at that point we did not have female astronauts. The first female astronauts were anyway coming from Soviet Russia (cosmonauts actually).
