CTS-V diffusers for direct swap for 2017+ CTS (not for 201-2016). I'm not sure if any other hardware is required, but I don't think so. Contact 404Parts.com with part number to see if they can obtain these for you.

Another nice video. I wish your videos were out last year. I put quad tips on my vsport but couldn't get the rear bumper off. I couldn't find anything on this. But now I see 2 bolts I was missing. I would not attempt to get them installed with the bumper on. I mangled the stainless ports and there was 2 bolts up against the crash bar that took me a day to get out. No room for any tool. I sweated hard that day and night. I am happy with it but now I want that savage diffuser. I just wish you had these videos out before I did everything. This car isn't easy to modify.
Aw man I’m sorry to hear that. You never know with cars though! Sometimes stuff is easy on one and a nightmare on another. You can always pay for a 3 day subscription to the GM maintenance manual online. Print everything you might need in that time from what I hear.

Then I welded up new magnaflows on at the same time in the garage. Let's say it was a weekend affair eating dinner on a plate under the car type thing.lol. But that's how you learn. Great videos and keep em coming. Much respect.
This is just what I was looking for to decide if I wanted to pull the trigger or not, then Danial sent me to 404parts and I spent 500... ha ha ha, next month for the diffuser.

I'd like to ask what size rims are on your buddy's black CTS-Vsport cant remember his name but you did his rear & Front defuser & he owns/runs a food truck according to you.. I can see his rear rims are 20s but what's the width & what's on the front

Great video as usual and thank you for them all! The tips you show look like "clamp ons", why did you need to go to a muffler shop for installation? What length tips are they? Do you have dimensions of what will fit through the fascia hole? Thanks
The tips don’t just align perfectly. You will need pipes cut and routed slightly different.

What length tip do you think I should get? My muffler is the big suitcase looking one that’s under my trunk. There’s not too much space between the exhaust outlet right now and the valance. Do you have any idea what length would be best with this big suitcase muffler they have on the 2019 CTs. Would measuring the gap right now be the same as the gap I will have with the diffuser or does diffuser come out further or anything?
Same gap. Most dual outlet tips will be shortened almost to where the two outlets combine to one. That’s how my car is. They basically cut the stock outlet right at the muffler and installed the tips there
I have 2019 CTs looking to do the rear v conversion. Would I be able to drive around with the diffuser for a few days until I get exhaust tips installed? I’m going to instal the diffuser and then measure the gap and order the tips but want to use my car til I get the tips?
You can measure the gap while it’s off right? With the 2019 I’m not sure where the exhaust would outlet. It could be pointing at some plastic and that’s no good
How long did it take for you to recieve this part from the seller? From florida to cali i think. 1,2 or 3 weeks?
If they are in stock less than 5 working days usually.

So if I already have the quad tips the diffuser will still fit correct? Also I just bought the edelbrock reservoir for our inter cooler do you know how it installs? On Facebook I see where one line goes but the picture doesn’t show the other line
Yes they will fit still.
No video on that. One line goes to the pump and the other to the inter cooler forgot offhand which way it was set to flow.
Do you have a video for the 2017-2019 diffuser swap?
I don’t. Basically pull bumper and pull all the retainers of the original lower valence, swap brake light with new bracket and install diffuser. I’ve never done it but I think that’s how it goes. Savage Cadillac will give you info too if you buy from them.
just received my v rear diffuser for my 2017 vsport, is the process for replacing that one the same as this? or is it completely different?
Completely different. You will need to remove the rear bumper and remove your stock lower section. Replace with the new V diffuser and install the reverse light with new bracket.
can you install the diffuser after quad tips or would that be a problem?
You can but how the tips are installed they may not stick out enough if they get installed flush with stock outlets. So just consider that extra half inch or so when putting quad tips on
What color does the regular diffuser for the CTS-V come as?
I think it’s unpainted

I have a 2019 V-Sport and want to do the same. Will it be a similar install?
No, I mentioned in the video that 2017+ have a different setup. Thankfully this means you can simply buy a CTS-V rear diffuser and install that. You will need a new reverse lamp mount and reflectors. The V diffuser comes in carbon fiber ($$$) or plastic (not sure if it’s painted).
Savage Cadillac may be able to set you up with these parts
Majority of the top part hold by a 3M tape and the bottom by the screws. How the 3M is still holding for you? I want to do it but i am afraid because of the 3M tape. I want the mod to stay for 5 more years.
The owner says it's holding up fine but he questions if hot climate would be the same. He lives in a very mild climate where it doesn't go above 85 most of the time. Also doesn't go below freezing much.

Yes it will fit but you also need the reverse light bracket. Savage Cadillac may be able to get everything you need.

Ill prolly just leave my 2016 cts 2.0t like it is...i mean its still sounds lije a pulp wood truck with any exhaust mods...and its not really very fast...
I do love my ride tho...now if i had a 3.6 or a v thrn i would be all over ur mods..

To the savage one? The whole assembly? Don’t think so but why do you ask?
I just think it would look cleaner if it were not recessed.

No. Parts like this are generally not interchangeable to other models. All the lines, shapes and sizes are very different.

@@JetFuelOnly I want to upgrade my CUE on the CTS. I seen the CD player swapped vid with some wiring/aux outlet upgraded. Thereafter the CUE had more features like screen mirroring, apple play, n more. Do you know a guy that can do this?
@@deects708 OEM cue upgrade gets you Apple car play and android auto as well as smoother operating CUE. There are piggy back systems like nav tool for phone mirroring or a whole CarPlay/wireless car play and mirroring system by a company called Joyeauto. I’ll have videos on that in the coming month. There are mostly positives with it with a couple drawbacks.

I love your videos. I think they’re great. I was wondering can some of these do it yourself stuff work on the Cadillac SRX 2010 and newer?
Thanks for watching. Every car is different but over time you learn typical ways things attach etc. However there’s no DIY to do if there are no products available. I’m not sure how many aftermarket things there are available for the SRX.
