I have a 2014 V Sport and love it. As suggested, I bought it one year old with 10K mi for 1/3 off - what a steal! For a daily driver, the full V is hard to justify. This gets 28mpg on the highway and has plenty of power to deal with anything I really need off the track.

Have owned a VSport 2014 for 67,000 miles. Love it. Have gotten as high as 30 mpg at 70 mph. This aside, the throttle response, torque, handling , total under your butt feel is incredible. Radio sound quality with std system is heads above most. As for Cue, Jeeze ! It has never given me a problem and it is not difficult to operate. I simply dont understand all the BS surrounding this. It will be a shame when they kill the CTS. It does not drive like a boat by the way and was never meant to be a mini sports car. Quick go out and find a used one quick before they are gone or burned up. They have not made many . Oh and yes, a Full on V would be nice, but I can wrap this one around a tree in 2 seconds , where would I use the extra 200 hp ?
You should read the owners manual before you do a review. If you did you would know that you can instantly mute the CUE system 2 ways: 1. Touch the power button on the control panel. It will mute the volume and show a red speaker icon with a slash mark going through it. To return back to your previously set volume touch it again. To turn off the system touch and hold the power button. 2. Press the speaker button on the steering wheel will accomplish the same thing as above (with the exception of turning off the system). The button on the steering wheel also serves as a button to answer your Bluetooth attached phone which will mute the CUE system to allow you to talk hands free through the CUE and hear the other end of the conversation through the speakers. When the phone is being used there is a second volume control for the phone so that when you end your conversation your music will return to the volume you set it to. There are many other great features that I love about the CUE system like how it accesses my phone to play Pandora which I control from the CUE screen (shows the album cover, artist, song name - thumbs up - thumbs down - next song) if you know what Pandora is and how it works. Fumbling with knobs is so... 20th century.

I've been leasing a 2016 VSport Premium and it's worth every penny. This car handles so luvee. Get up to 80+ mph and the car transforms literally. It's amazing.

you mute volume by simply touching the on/off area to left of volume slide. you can also just push the volume down button on the wheel. agree with you guys on the exhaust outlet openings on these later model vsports... looks a bit off with the vertical triangle. but performance and handling of these are second to none in the class imo. if it's too expensive in your views then suggest you provide some comparable vehicles that are less.
I have just watched your review as I was curious to see the changes made to the CTs VSport for 2108. I purchased the Cadillac CTS Vsport when it first came out on the market in 2014. All of what you said was true but because you haven't spent time growing accustomed to the car, I will answer the questions you posed in the video.1) In regards to the wheel well: The car has panels on the underside, air deflectors in front of the wheels and other such refinements to increase efficiencies but compared to mine it has changed somewhat.2) Haptic feedback controls: Again, you are correct that it feels strange...at first. But you quickly realize two things. Knobs require you to look to operate them, the haptic system only requires a glance for you to rest your finger on the bar then you don't look again. The second is you can do everything from your steering controls just as easily.3) Why buy the Vsport instead of the V?: When I decided to purchase the Vsport I based my decision on two things. Firstly, as you have said 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 290 Kph is no "slouch" but more importantly is the fact that it is, except for a track, impossible to use the horsepower available and the additional 200 Hp would be even more frustrating. Secondly, the v's remove a lot of the luxury features to reduce weight and increase performance. As you have said real world considerations such as road trips require such things such things as power rear blinds a 3 zone climate control, etc. Cadillac sells these cars for drivers and there are many of us out there. I myself hold an instructors' class for tractor trailers and I personally can appreciate the Hp and handling of this car.
Yeah, I own one of these, too, and it's a damn shame the bad press the haptic feedback controls got. I much prefer the look and feel of it to buttons. The new direction Cadillac is taking with it is terrible! That thin plastic membrane over hard buttons is really chints.
I think ppl are forgetting about their cell phones! How many ppl are still using rotary dial phones c'mon everything now is touch sensitive! If your like me I use my cell phone regularly & it's touch sensitive a smart phone. Cadillac is going the way of technology that's it. I'll admit CUE could be more responsive & more engaging but there is still the steering wheel controls that offsets the confusion of the touch screen! I love the idea of CUE personally but I'm also a techie kinda guy!! Love the interaction with the touch sensitive buttons that honestly should only be played with while parked for those less inclined!!

Go for it! I really like the car. It's a lot of fun to drive and handles like it's on rails. You'll really enjoy driving it. It's quick and the motor sounds great in the car. Where the V and M5 are tigers, the Vsport is a cheetah. It's nimble, feels really light weight(in a good way) and the steering response is second to none. You'll love the car. The only drawback....the CUE system really does suck. The moment you get your car detailed you don't want to touch it because it's instant fingerprints on the screen once you do.What other cars are you looking at?
@@ChoppedFender5 For CUE fingerprints I just carry a microfiber cloth in the door pocket that I can also use to clean the windshield, wipe up spills, etc.
