Hopefully these 5 tips help y'all realize some ways that you could be fishing better to catch more fish! All the support lately has been AMAZING so THANK YOU!
Can you fo a video on bank bass fishing i dont have a boat or the money nor the time for a boat and i fish a lake where three or four bass are always living there even during the winter but all of tge videos i see on youtube are on boats for lake at least i will be getting a jon boat in one or two years but i want to catch fish until then😂
i love all of them. i think he could use some air in this one tho. he is speaking so quickly i am worried that he is going to have a heart attack and it is making me anxious as well! He definitely crams a lot of content into 15 minutes this way lol
Who else loved to fish but normally would use live worms or minnows or livers and catching whatever hits you. And now after Tyler's videos you are now addicted to bass fishing with soft plastics, jugs and lures.. again Tyler for a new Bass fisherman for only 2 weeks thank you for all your videos and wisdom's
I have been watching you for several months Tyler. I'm very impressed with the knowledge you have, the content of your videos and the quality of your videos. Very impressive young man !!!
Great Video and channel! You are a amazing teacher for sure. While I still have not caught a fish on a jig. (Still Trying 😅) Your grass tip helped me big time yesterday. I got four 1.5-2.5 lbs large mouths in my boat. A Wacky Rig is what I was using. After watching you video I also payed it forward yesterday as well. I had a father son combo staring over at me reeling it in. They worked their way over and asked what I was using. They were first time fisherman and went to Dicks to get their gear. Dicks gave them bobbers and shining spoon lures for bass😕 I Had the Father hold on to my boat and grab their rods. I tied on a weedless octopus hooks and showed them how to rig it on O-ring senko (Green Pump/Purp flakes) 5mins after their first cast they got their first fish. When I saw them back at the docks their smiles where ear to ear. I recommended your channel to them and few others for them to learn. Thanks again for your channel and being a good guy. Cheers P.s I am not sure If you have done a video like this yet. But I would love to see how you read your fish finder. I have one similar to you minus the live scope. I still have a bit of trouble figuring out where to cast after finding good cover in sideview and down imaging. Thanks Again!!
Thanks for the tips Tyler. From an older sub, I would suggest SOME people aren't wasting time on the water even by casting into bad areas or working a bait all the way back to the boat/shore. Some of us use fishing as a diversion or a time of rest. We're not out there for efficiency or maybe even massive amounts of success. We are learning as we go, but that might not be our main objective for the day :)
I definitely see that as well! That's just rarely my intention since this is my job. There are plenty of times that just being out there is enough of a relaxer with little to no fish!
Tip #1 all day. I repeatedly have trouble with this. I often realize I am too close to the bank, especially while in my kayak. While seated in the kayak, my casting distance suffers a bit and I end up too close to the bank as a result. I think you could do an entire video on how to do this properly, especially regarding when/how to use a fish finder to help make that judgement call.
Great tips for those of us that have picked up word for the10'000 time as well. I am guilty the 2 of these. Giving up on a cast and being in position for a hookset.
Excellent helpful video! I would think most of you guys making these videos are targeting less experienced anglers , there for the basics are what at least I’m looking for. After every good fish I loose I return back to the moment numerous times trying to figure out what I did wrong or should’ve done differently. The excitement takes over at the moment which I get, but these kind of tips help me understand where I may be going wrong. I personally almost jumped into the water after two fish this week because they were right there, now I just have a fishing story to tell. Thanks man . Definitely keep them coming.
This is extremely informative for me. It explains my problems very much. Thanks. Learned a lot from your channel and I can see my skills are getting better not fully relay on the luck any more.
Love your videos. Especially the bank and pond fishing. I'm not saying the other guys are not good and informative, Tyler just seems more relatable and easy to follow. Oh, and he has great hair! Keep up the great videos! Thanks!
Hey Tyler I’ve been loving all of your tips and I guess tutorials. I’ve only caught one bass off a shim but I’m glad that you’re able to brake down everything to store in my brain for later!
Its crazy that fishing has grown so much lately. Part of me is happy, and part of me says get off my fishing spot newbies! Lol! Good info as usual sir.
Tyler, great tips and there's no doubt you are a skilled angler with an obvious passion for fishing, however, I'm reminded of a quote from Thomas Mann (1875-1955): "Order and simplification are the 1st steps towards the mastery of a subject". I think you are over-thinking on Tip 1: "You don't want to be casting aimlessly out there but make sure you're trying multiple things and giving it trial and error" What does this mean? Well, it means making a bunch of casts and trying different baits (topwater, column, bottom) and retrieval speeds (slow, medium, fast). What do you aim at? Anything you or your sonar identified, otherwise, 90% - 95% of the time you're not really aiming at anything, except the water of course. Every single angler on the planet, including pros, guides, and youtubers, cast aimlessly everytime they fish. This is called covering water, covering more water, or searching. AKA Fishing. At the end of the day, nobody really knows where fish are or will be. Sure, you can think about it, analyze, apply logic, reasoning, over-think, and even fish the past and you'll catch some fish. However, more often than not you'll catch more (and better) fish if you shut down your brain, cast with CONFIDENCE, and COVER MORE WATER.
Hey my dude. I realized a lot from this video that I could easily correct. I’m the guy who is ok with a bad cast 😂 but I was wondering if you could do kayak tips and tricks.
Hey i love how educational your videos are...i am a beginner and i absolutely love fishing and i have been into it for about 2 months.. do u make/have any fishing tips and videos of shore fishing? Cuz at the moment i dont have a boat plan to get a kayak atleast for now but that will be here for next summer....
Hey Trevor! Glad to have you along the Channel! I do have several shore fishing videos (2 recently released), and this specific video, while filmed from a boat, applies perfectly to bank anglers as well👍🏼
@@TylersReelFishing awesome man....and yes i did watch this video and learned alot. Thank you for taking time to answer me.. also do u know other good anglers that are up northeast like Massachusetts? Thats where im from and would also like to learn tricks for things that work in our weather conditions
@@TylersReelFishing damm every good angler i like to watch is from the south or texas... but ill learn from u and might have to change little here and there to help with being up here
Only way bass would be in 6 inches of water is the fry, aka baby bass. A 10 plus ponder in 6 inches of water the 10 plus lb basses top half would stick out of the water like a shark fin from jaws 😆
It’s the Anglr Bullseye! Pretty cool deal for pre-fishing/breaking down water but even better for actually fishing. The Anglr app is basically a digital logbook that allows you to drop waypoints and saves all sorts of data about each fish catch that you can come back in later and view or edit. Stuff like wind speed and direction, air temp, barometric pressure, etc. The app is free but they offer add-ons like the Bullseye that just make it a lot easier to use and better. That’s the little thing on my hat in the video. It’s like 30 bucks but you can bluetooth link it to your phone and that way each time you catch a fish you just hit the Bullseye and it logs all that stuff without having to take your phone out each time. People compare ANGLR to Fishbrain, but it’s much better than Fishbrain

I didn't even need these tips, I just like watching his videos, and his personality
These tips work! Have had more success and caught more fish! Tyler hope you enjoyed the fan art i made!
Loved it Seth!
God has really blessed you.... and is blessing us with your vids. Keep riding the wave bro 😊
he really has Brian! Thanks for being a part of this channel!
5 seconds in and I can already tell it’s a banger
🤑
Tyler u helped me at bass fishing thx bud
Awesome video! You should do another tip video for intermediate anglers and then advanced
I’ll put planning into that!
I am a seasoned fisherman, But i have to still see this!
Hey my dude. I realized a lot from this video that I could easily correct. I’m the guy who is ok with a bad cast 😂 but I was wondering if you could do kayak tips and tricks.
Love it! Yes, I do kayak videos every once in a while, so I'll hop back in that soon
Love the content! Are you still in Minnesota?
I am not, I'm back in Texas. But by the time all the minnesota videos come out, I will be back in minnesota for some fall fishing
Abt how long do u have your fluoro leader and do u have it the same color as your 15lb braid
I’ll be making a video on this soon, but usually a 6 foot leader. And no, it’s a clear flouro line
Good info. Thanks for these vidios.
Of course!
tip #2 is fantastic
Needed this video!!!
GOOD!

Paul Mueler. I don’t think he has a UA-cam, but he’s one of the best pro anglers from that area
@@TylersReelFishing damm every good angler i like to watch is from the south or texas... but ill learn from u and might have to change little here and there to help with being up here
There should be a video on how to keep a fish on the hook when you're reeling it in
Just keep tension. I talked about it in this video
Thanks!
my local ponds and lakes have like no fish

THANK YOU! Earned my 👍+ SUB.
I really appreciate it!
How to determine where the fish are without electronics??
I talk about that in all my videos. You have to learn about fish habitats and behaviors and target those areas at the right times
TRF, awesome video and very informative! I hope my fishing channel does as well as yours one day. Keep doin what you do!
I'm sure it will with hard work man!
Tyler I think you need a hydroflask sponsor, no more plastic water bottles!
Problem is, I lose water bottles often 😂 so I wouldn’t be “saving any earth” by using reusable ones
Hey I always wonder what that is on your hat

TylersReelFishing oh okay I’m going get Anglr
Tyler don't get it twisted. UA-cam owns this channel
Huh?
@@TylersReelFishingThey can shutdown your channel if they want. Something to consider when building a business on that backs of the tech companies.
@@TylersReelFishing Not that i think they would. But they definitely do dictate advert terms. best to launch your own product. Great content btw.
Dude as soon as I saw the vid I clicked
Heck yeah!
Imagine getting a water sponsorship lol
A boy can dream
What about us bank fishermen
Literally all of these tips completely apply to bank fisherman, I just happen to be filming from a boat
Nice #everymomentofbd
Anyone else say "Gimme gimme" in the intro too or is it just me?
Just you haha
