I really appreciate your forthright approach to instruction. It is ever so helpful for a beginner such as myself. You help my simple skills look amazing!
I made some really sweet earrings using this weave. I wish I could show a pix. Essentially, I formed a V with 3mm loop at the V, and did the basket weave for about 1-1/4”. Then I curved the 2 tails to almost meet at the bottom, a tear shape, then a swirl, out at each, one a little higher then the other. Continue with the armature wire down to one swirl, pick up a small rondel, span to opposite, continue up with snug wrap until you reach bottom of basket weave on that side. Add ear wire. Everybody loves it! Could never have thought that up without you 💫💕Thank you for great tutorial!
Your detailed instruction is very helpful and appreciated. I am a beginner with wire weaving….but have been knitting for awhile. The tension is something I forgot I do while knitting because I’ve done it for so long, such a great way to teach this technique. Thank You!
Best tutorial I have seen on this technique. Thank you for your detailed explanation that covered the possible problems that beginners have. Teaching is your calling!
Very informative! Now...maybe... even I can start weaving wire. No one else is explaning it this aeasy as you. I want it simple and you made a very good and simple explaining 😊😊👍🏼👍🏼 Thank you!
So cool! It makes me wonder, do you know if it’s possible to make a 3 base wire wrapped figure eight(infinity symbol)? Or does changing the curve deform the weave? I’ll bet that would look so cool!
Please try this and let me know how it goes- oh also I saw that I missed your comment in the livestream about starting your own website. That’s awesome! Keep taking those forward steps and putting yourself out there!
Many thanks great tutorial, there is something I'd like you to cover, do you have any tips on how to keep the weaving wire from pulling up as you weave up wider like when making a bale and also when curving the base wire, do you add more coils to the top wire or the bottom wire? I'm thinking its the top one?🙏🏻❤
Thanks Louise! Yes in a curve you may need to put more coils around the outer wire. The outer wire being like the outside wire on a track. And your other question I can’t quite understand. Is there another way to explain it bc I’m very very curious?
@@TheSirenandThePirate when making a bale you weave from narrow to wider, the wire tends to pull upwards when crossing over to weave oposite wire as it gets wider, always having to push down and correct. Just wondered if you had a tip to help 🙏🏻❤

Love the tip about doing a full coil to anchor the wrap.

TY for the great tutorial. Your explanation is THE best. Truly appreciate your help. ❤
Very helpful & informative, makes me eager to practice 😀
Very informative. I like the way you showed tension technique. Thank you.
Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate you Juanita!

This helps alot! I just need to remember "up and over" "down and under" on the 3 wire one. That will help me to make sure I get the weave consistent.
So cool!
