I think your weaving techniques are just beautiful and I’m so grateful for your tutorials. I’m learning a lot and I’ve been using cheaper wire and just basic tools because I don’t want to waste expensive wire by weakening it by having to undo parts and redo them. I’m going to be trying this one out to make a replacement wedding ring for myself, ours don’t fit anymore and we need a new start, so thank you for your tutorials, I can’t wait to other weaves out! I’m going to try a different style for his ring, but I figured if I can make it with the cheaper silver plated wire, then I’ll move up to the actual sterling silver wire for the final pieces. Thank you so much!

Your tutorials are always so helpful! I always struggle with setting stones well, and your videos are the best by far for teaching how to set. I would have never figured I could set a 3 mm stone with wire before this! If you have any other methods for setting stones that you haven't made videos on, I would love to see them! Those are the hardest to find reliably online.

Seriously I almost dumped an insane amount of money on stone setting equipment. I found myself with handfuls of tiny precious gems and no way to incorporate them into my wire wraps.. you saved me! Thank you for your tutorials!!

I notice how you hold the weave with your left point finger as you weave the figure 8. Many of us have had trouble making that weave look tight and neat and to stay that way while weaving. Wish I had seen that a couple of years ago! Another great video!

As far as I am concerned, your wire work is amongst the very best I've ever seen! The work is beautifully finished and executed and the designs are exquisite! I do have a question about something I'd love to see you make a video on. How would I add this component to a ring shank for example?? Also, you know that wire prong setting video you recently made? Well how could I join that one to a ring shank as well? Would that be the most efficient way? Or would it be best to incorporate the necessary wires for the setting, when initially forming the shank? I think all those wire ends really intimidate me LOL. But I'm heading off today to start my adventure in wire wrapping and purchasing a mess of less expensive copper wire to learn! Thank you so much! Best. Marianne

I love your videos as an art degree grad who has had no real space to work post-graduation. I'm finally at a point where I have a small setup at home that would be best for wire-work and torch-free projects. I was wondering if you had any advice for where to start with materials? I have a Rio account, but I'm unsure about what quantities/gauges/hardness to focus on. Any advice would be helpful!

Will this work if I substitute hald round for square for just the center "setting" wires, while using square for the outside "weave" wires. Should I use matching gages or use 21 square and 20 half round? Anyone tried this. Edit: you amswered my question at the end.. Which poses a new question. . . would this pattern work with 3×5 oval Facets?
