This is such a good guide and review on Nuremberg. Im going there on Tuesday and really appreciate the attention to detail in this guide. You thoroughly earned my subscription.
My brother and I was in Nuremberg in 1998 while off duty from the U.S. Army and it is so beautiful. I would love to live there!!! The castles are so awesome. We went to many places and Munich was another place, which in this video called them the 2 biggest in Bovaria.
The Kongresshalle (4.10) where you say the Nazi rallies were held was never actually completed and rallies weren't held there. The rallies were held at the Zeppelinfeld, across (or round) the lake. The grandstand with speakers podium is still there, can be climbed up, and is worth a visit.
They actually were held there. There are photographs depicting rallies here. Here is a link to the information. museums.nuernberg.de/documentation-center I believe you when you say they were also held at Zeppelinfeld as well, but I know that this is the sight of the The National Socialists held their Party Rallies in Nuremberg from 1933 to 1938. Cheers.
@@ThePlanetD The congress hall was never finished the courtyard you were in was just an unfinished construction site. The rallys were held across the street at Luitpoldhain which is now a park with Ehrenhalle, but most were held at Zeppelin field because it could accommodate thousands.
@@ThePlanetD The Kongresshalle and Zeppelinfeld were part of the same complex that was used for the Nazi party rallies. However the Kongresshalle was never finished and never actually used.
I was born there, I love the video! Probably the most underrated and beautiful city in Germany! Also, Nuremberg is a Franconian city. Franconia is the northern half of Bavaria, but has its own dialect. It's also not as catholic.
Good video. However the Congress hall where you state that the rallies took place, didn't happen there. But the marching parade route to the rally grounds did start there and it's well worth the walk just for the sheer scale.
We are traveling there next Tuesday. Great video, makes it much easier to decide where we will go. Thank you! Quick question, what kind of transportation did you guys use?
Enjoy! Also, the Nuremberg Card includes unlimited transportation in Zone A so that is a good choice as well. Plus, it gets you into a lot of attractions. www.getyourguide.com/s?partner_id=DRH67LO&cmp=nuremberg&q=Nuremberg&et=4953&lc=127
Thank you for the quick response. Unfortunately I can’t open the website. It is telling me that I’ve been blocked. I guess we can buy the card when we get there. So exciting!! 🥨🍻
Thanks! The card is awesome. We get city cards wherever we go. It just offers more freedom to pop into thing and check them out. If you aren't interested, you can move on and you didn't pay any extra money.
We rented a car for Bavaria, but for Nuremberg, we walked most of it. Plus, the Nuremberg Card gives you unlimited access to the city's public transportation so you may want to consider purchasing that as well. theplanetd.com/recommended/nuremberg/card
Hi, so on the website to get the Nurnberg card/pass, it says “please select your time from the list” does that mean the time we will start using the tickets?
That seems to have changed since we used it. The card activated for the first use, it looks like you now need to choose the date you are going to be in Nuremberg.
@@ThePlanetD I as a German thought that your pronunciation was great :) I also think it is weird to expect that all foreigners are able to pronounce all words in every language correctly. Anywho thank you for your video! I enjoyed watching it :)
It all depends on what you use it for. If you are seeing a lot, the city cards are a great way to go. You don't have to buy it, you can decide for yourself.

I didn't get 20 free beers with my ticket, not even one. What ticket is that?
A lot of Americans need to visit NOW! ABOUT 40%.
Alors où faut il que j'aille à Nuremberg ? à la Haye ?
last sunday visited

@@ThePlanetD Ahh, okay. Thank you so much!
How were you able to get the audio tours?
English was offered at the time for non-German speakers. It was included in the tour.
@@ThePlanetD is the tour part of the Nürnbergcard?
No, this was a separate tour that we took of the Rock Cellars www.historische-felsengaenge.de/
❤❤
I thought that most of the cities in Germany were totally collapsed during WW2, but here they appeared fine. Are they restored?
She mentions the city restored the buildings after the war but opted to keep the original architecture instead of going modern. 😊
How to you go all these places in 24hours? Are they near to any Metro station?
Wondered the same. Maybe if you just tour on the outside and not go in ? 😂😂
👍💐
why on earth would I subscribe BEFORE I watch the video?
Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine. Hope you have a nice day!
I wish you would have tried a bit harder to say the names of the places, and cheers is absolutely wrong use for drinking a beer in Bavaria!
Well, Charles Winter, I can see you are a very pleasant person. Have a nice day.

It feels weird you recommend buying this Nurnberg card because I did a quick calculaton and you actually lost money on it.

can you please talk a little slower. You seem to rush through things.
I will do my best, thanks for the feedback.
Is the women pretty there???
Women are pretty everywhere :D
Wenn man schon über eine Stadt berichtet dann sollte man diese auch RICHTIG schreiben können ...
„Nuremberg“ ist doch richtig auf Englisch buchstabiert.
