Hallo my name is Carla This year I had Chemo therapy and I am still sick in bed. That’s why I love your video’s, it makes me feel alive and as if I am visiting the world without the effort. I love the architecture, the churches and rivers. The beautiful Christmas lights and buzzing markets. On a personal note I like all crafts like pottery, linens, woodwork and souvenirs. Thank you for your chanel, all the way from South Africa and may God bless you.
I could just cry!! Thankyou for this. Im 43 and when I look bk on the best time in my life it was Christmas in Germany in the 80’s n we went here on the train. It was magical. Im in TX now but I will go back one day 🎄🙏🏼🎉🥰
Hey, I'm glad you enjoyed it! The 80s were a great time to be a kid! :) I'm 44. Getting to Nuremberg is pretty easy. Short 10 hour flight to Frankfurt and a then a train ride. Super easy. Merry Christmas.
My Mum was German and Christkind literally means 'baby Jesus'. She was brought up in a tradition where presents were brought on Christmas Eve by Jesus, not Santa Claus.
@@EvelynKeynes You are so narrow-minded. Have you lived there? I did for 4 years and the citizens are very thoughtful of their past. They have gone to great lengths to ensure their country is educated and history doesnt repeat itself. They are very kind and productive as a nation. Unlike the US who is tearing down history and replacing figures like Aunt Jamima and the Redskins. YOu sound stupid.
This brings back so many wonderful memories when my husband and I were stationed in Berlin (90-94). We visited the Nuremberg Christmas market every year and many others. Really miss being in Germany❤
I love how the lady at 27:49 just started talking to you and explaining her and her neighbors products. I watch a lot of walking videos like this and know that usually people shy away or try not to engage with the camera/camera man but I enjoyed that little moment with her and the neighbor. A most enjoyable walking tour of the area. First class video production. Christmas and Germany seem to go together well especially with a little snow. I would love to travel there from my home in Chicago. While watching I paid particular attention to all the well mannered people I saw walking around. Apparently the majority of them are able to exist without having to talk on their phones or text constantly as they enjoy the outdoors.
Thank you Mr. Pro Walk, for stating what day, and at what time you made the video. I am planning my own Christmas tour, and it helps greatly to know that about 10 days before Christmas is the best time to go. You tend to go that much time before, and that helps with my planning. Fabulous.
