- This is part 6 of my basics tutorial on the new Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Every flight ends with a landing (hopefully 💥). Let's see how you can prepare for easier landings. After landing we'll taxi back to the parking and shut the plane down.

100% would purchase a course from you, you go over the small details in a great way and I rarely need to ask many questions on a video as you cover so much of the questions I may have. Prefer to have one ppl series from you than having to search for all sorts of subjects from other creators. Would love to see an in-depth video on vatsim basics, finding it very complex to get into it.
I'd definitely be interested in a course like that! I'm not planning on getting a PPL but I like to fly in sims as realistically as possible. Love your videos, keep it up :)

Very good, as usual. I'm currently a 16-hour student pilot and would like a detailed video about touch & go and flying traffic patterns (funnier and trickier than the long aproximations of the airliners, like this video's). I know there is a lesson about this in MSFS 2020, but it would be great another one more step by step. Have you got already recorded anything like it?

Ik heb geprobeerd jouw landing na te vliegen. Lukt nog niet erg goed maar al doende leert men. Bij mij gaat tijdens het dalen op een gegeven moment een blauw lampje knipperen en er gaat een signaal af. Ik begreep dat dat iets te maken heeft met de vraag of je op de juiste hoogte zit. Ik las ook dat dit op bijna geen vliegveld meer wordt gebruikt. Maar kennelijk op Eelde wel. Kan jij hier iets over zeggen?
Dat is een marker beacon. Stel dat je met weinig zicht naar een landingsbaan vliegt. Als het vliegveld ermee uitgerust is (best veel vliegvelden hebben dit), en je over zo'n beacon heen vliegt gaat het bijbehorende lampje knipperen. Je hebt een outer, middle en inner beacon. Ze geven aan hoe ver je van de landingsbaan bent, wat in weinig zicht natuurlijk erg handig is.
