I was lucky enough to have a group of amazingly talented people on this journey, which started after the death of a close friend. Making this film has helped me deal with this loss and I hope it will help others trying to make sense of the universe when losing someone close to you. We finished the film in 2013, so it's really amazing to see it find a new audience through DUST. Thank you for this opportunity. 70k years for Voyager to reach the nearest star. The gold disc should last millions of years, long after humans are gone. To accumulate that much debris it might take billions

Cool visuals, but there's no story to be found here. Also, those are some of the most pretentious subtitles I have ever seen. Subtitles are supposed to contain dialogue or a description of audio cues, not tell me how I'm supposed to be feeling about the music.
You’re right, there is no story, just a message. And the subtitles are there for people who can’t hear the music. They’re definitely not meant to be pretentious.

By the time you see this post, the radio waves would have reached Voyager 1 and gone twice as far as Voyager 1 is now.

If you believe in God then you should KNOW there is no firmament and space with the sun and planets are of Time!
