More About "10 Minute Time Machine":
George nervously waits for Lori to show up for their date, an engagement ring sitting heavily in his pocket. But when she arrives with news that she’s found a time machine that allows them to travel 10 minutes back in time, their imaginations run wild with how they can put it to use. When they realize the time machine is even more powerful than they thought, past and future versions of themselves appear with advice how to use it. What will they do in the face of adventure, fortune, love, and loss? Only time will tell.

Another Amazing Story!!
This was uploaded to your channel years ago. Why delete the old and re-upload for more views? Quite disingenuous.
Released two days ago but ive already seen it. Thanks for wasting my time for scammed views... not earned views. I will be the thumbs down ok.. and unsubcribed if you're gonna be that trashy
Hey dust.
With a UA-cam channel with 2.35 million people.
Why doesn't the comment section remain quite
Turkish subtitles for all videos please!!
It's been quite a while since Dust showed a film with a happy ending. I dig it. Very intriguing storyline. Thoughtfully made. If only real life was so easily manipulated. Well done. Keep it up.
Agreed 👍
I agree!
I was just thinking that
Not sure if it's a happy ending since they left the technology which could have been far more helpful in put on the right hand who know how to use it.
Bootstrap.
Also, Augustus... Who says it isn’t?
Her future self said "we can't have both"
So she chose love over money.
Beautiful message here.
Indeed. Time travel does something to _him_, you see.
5:52 LMAO the painting on the wall!
One of the most enjoyable time travel shorts I have seen.
"Lazy Boy", "I'm you, di..head" (prolly now renamed ", from the future") also have clever, funny and poignant timeloop shenanigans, with the latter pushing boundaries more with its Aussie humour.
It's always nice when a Dust film isn't depressing or has rough ending. While those are entertaining, there are a lot of them. THIS film was a lot of fun.
Loved this short. Kevin's greed was heading toward trouble at first, but thankfully Lesley put an end to that. I'm one of the lucky ones who gave up just about everything for true love 30 years ago and I haven't regretted it once. Well done!
I gave away everything to find myself. Both of us got what we needed and neither of us regretted it. Well done, indeed, friend!
I gave up everything for love and I'll probably end my days living in a box under a bridge.
@@davidm5707 If you live in San Francisco, I hear those boxes are really expensive.
I don't see what harm it would do to have both. There's also no reason to believe he wouldn't have had the degenerative mental disorder without traveling through time anyway.
Leslie was greedy, too. She didn't want to lose her lover so she destroyed the time machine instead of just leaving it be. So now there is fodder for the next short; the story of the poor time traveller who, due to a minor lapse of attention, is stuck in the past because some selfish ahole destroyed his time machine. Hope he can hitch a ride to Hill Valley in 1985 and hitch a ride on a DeLorean
I loved this one. As others have said, so many DUST shorts end in a completely unsatisfactory way. This one told a complete story and was very well done. Excellent work.

Well done! Rare for a Dust short to have a structured ending, and a happy one at that!
Its a pretty sad ending for the poor sucker who's time machine fell out of his pocket at the previous bus stop
A structured ending? All the endings are great, sorry they don’t have a Disney ending for you.
No, some endings are awful, many are non existent. Occasionally an idea left in a pensive state works and is appropriate but too often it's the result of laziness, superficiality or plain lack of talent. You must love JJ Abrams' work.
Much better than the ending of _CTRL Z_ for sure 😂
@@cheesesteakphilly😂😂😂😂
UA-cam algorithm showed me this after I watched 5 minute Time Machine yesterday. Is UA-cam making a Time Machine for me?
Great short. Loved the ending. I liked the fast pace keeping me on my toes guessing what’s going to happen next…. Thank you for brightening up my day
Oh, what a good girl! She chose happiness over riches. I am proud of her. Most time travel stories don't end well. Which, if you think about it, is about right. This is one where the protagonist stops the cycle before fucking up the timeline. Well done, folks. Great film!
Now that's a really good short. The premise, plot and ending made clear, no ambiguities (except of course the origin of the time machine), it's like a full feature in synopsis length. Like it. Wish this would be a trend at Dust.
I saw this over a year ago from a different source. Still nice to see a sci-fi short with a happy ending.
That's what i was thinking man..
It was on dust only..
Also thanks for commenting and clearing it out that someone has seen this as well..i started thinking man, the fk just happened..hehe..
Another time, another place.
This was so well done.
Excellent story. Very good audio. Acting was very good and the characters were very likable.
Nice pace, good length (no extra stuff), self-contained - no loose ends, no un-connected dots.
Dabbled slightly with the 'greed' concept, but really didn't stray too far from the main path of the love they had between them....very nice.
One of the better films I have seen on UA-cam, top 5-10% in my opinion. Clever and fresh, not the same old same old.
Great take away feeling for me....this would be a great Valentine Day movie to watch.
Hard to imagine anyone being so careless with such a powerful thing as that. Reminds me of an old Twilght Zone episode where a man finds a stopwatch tat freezes time. He freezes time and while robbing a bank drops and breaks the watch.
@@xenrgx In Doraemon, the protagonist solved it by using another time machine to go to the future
I guess lots of people would do quite stupid and selfish things if they had one.
Congratulations to Charles Wahl and his "out of this pub" team. Lesley and Kevin performance is great, script and dialogues are sublime, the ambience sound effects and music are polite and very well matched. Great exposition and narration effort, considering that the shortfilm lasts approximately 10 minutes, about the dilemma of what we want and what suits us.
Congratulations to Canada and The National Screen Institute.
Thank you 🤍UST.
Wow. At first, I was noticing his Homer Simpson vibe, so it's definitely funny. But the surprise ending is sweet and smart. In this version of he-and-she, the woman saves the man from his own flaws. Really short but well worth your time. Hats off to the writers and actors.
I like the way DUST ends its sci-fi time travel short films by breaking the time machines.
This is for me the first time I see a DUST film with a HAPPY ending!
That's also needed and lovely to see!
Very good and also a little bit funny short movie THIS DUST film, with very good acting, etc.!
Wonderful ... just wonderful .... what an intuition... what a thought ... brilliant 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
Brilliant! 👍👍
Very well done and great acting.
But it's beautiful!!! I could write it a thousand more times! I love movies about time travel and this short film I have to say that it is really too too good! Good job everyone!
The second part can focus kn the sad story of the poor time traveler whose time machine fell out of his pocket when he got off the bus at the last stop. Because some selfish person couldn't just let it be (instead, destroying it) due to personal reasons, the original owner of the device is now doomed to spend the rest of his/her life in the past.
Could even title it "bus ride"
Wow! That was as touching as "One week with Rebecca". Well, that was still a bit better.
Well done.
Yeah 😊
Knowing the future is like reading the last page of the book before you start reading the first.
Let’s keep it a mystery till we get there.
Great story, best ending.
Super cute! Managed to explain just enough so the viewer understood implications without digging in anywhere deep, fun and actually had a happy ending.
Well, unless we start talking about parallel timelines...
I'm assuming it all happened and didn't happen simultaneously.
That was a very sweet story, a ten min well spent.... thanks to the cast and production team...
Now this is wholesome! Please keep making more of ones like this!
This was a better story in nine minutes than a lot of feature length films. Masterpiece!
Unpredictable until the last few seconds. Loved it.
Possibly the best Dust entry I've come across. Fantastic script, excellent acting, truly interesting movie
Arrgghh! The beautiful and simple story is paradoxically complex! Loved it.
Have I travelled in time because I've seen this before and loved it. 😉
I felt the same.
It's an old one
Memory is time travel since time is a perception. We speak reality into being to make the future perception. Meh, what do I know.
Bravo!!!!! Yay!! Best Dust short yet. So well constructed. So well acted. Love wins over tech. Bravo!
Sooooo Goooood!!!!! Congrats to all!!!
Fantastic short! Congratulation! Love it!
I love that she said yes, but she could've left it for someone else. Always choose love! 🖤
Fantastic - a triumph of short filmaking!
Just found out about Dust. This one is my favorite so far. Awesome story!!
SO WONDERFUL! Wonderful and wondrously done! 💚
That was frigging BILLANT !!! Dust - Thanks n to the creaters of this fantastic film !! Love you to make this a longer film !! Thanks
Tim
Further proof, as if it was required, that "love" does conquer all of "space" and "time".
Great short!!! The lady makes the best decision and wipes out the entire temporal sequence and saves her boyfriend's mind. Nice to see a happy ending!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
5:43 i love the little detail of them both being in the frame in the background
I only realized that thanks to your comment, thanks 😊
Very clever and heartwarming ending. Bravo!
All the time in the world or that one special moment...
Cool film, really enjoyed it.
I really love all your inovative idea's about creating short film, keep growing 💖✌️
love it! especially how the characters are so completely un-scifi. loved it from the first second to the last
Finally ... a very happy ending ! This was very good !!! All kudos and accolades ... hats (off) and hooters (wayment)
Loved the story, brilliant ending.
I really liked this one. She did the right thing and we had a happy ending. Not something we can expect from Dust.
Spoiler alert: I stopped watching Dust videos a couple years ago because they ultimately ended very darkly. They were so depressing, when there already was too much darkness in the world. So (taking a chance) I watched this one and was surprised/delighted when it had a happy ending! More of these please. Are you listening, Dust?
You know right that this channel basically just reupload and promote any sci-fi short films from anyone out there. So even if Dust listen to the request out here it still depends on the makers of these short films to make what kind of story they want to make.
@@wahyuagengrahinostill man dust can choose the shorts
Finally a short that takes a good idea and gives it a satisfying ending. Bravo!
Exceptional dialogue. Funny. Witty. Clever. I love it.
Classic time travel story and trippy plot!
One of the best time travel stories I ever seen !
Fun to watch. I really love this kind of film about time travelling.
i stopped at 6:33 bc i had a bad 2 yrs and i know a comment tells me to hang in there but ... I will reconsider in 10 mins
that’s exactly where i gave up
Best Dust film I’ve seen so far.
That was fabulous. Thank you.
Very well made. Enjoyed it. She did the right thing at the end and let destiny take its course. One of the better time travel shorts i have seen in a while. The humor was well played
Enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing.
Elegant, clever and simple.
I like that this had a happy ending.
This was one of the best short films I've seen. Pretty darn confusing with the duplicates but never the less awesome.
That was very well written and performed. Loved the happy ending.
One of the best time travel short movies out there.
I love a happy ending movie like this, and we know how rare this is on the scifi movie world
Beautifully acted, filmed, written & edited.
Lovely. Absolutely lovely. Thanks!
I'm wondering if the people from DUST actually ever see our comments, and taking that chance, I'm going to say, Well done on this one... Well done.
I can honestly say that it is in my top 5 in this channel
You guys did an awesome job on this! The acting was perfect, and the story actually made sense. Please do another one 😊
I JUST watched another picture called "1 minute time machine" lol. I've been going through the dozens of pictures about time travel that apparently exist on UA-cam. There are so many great ones. It's almost like watching Love, Death and Robots with how varied it all is while still being attached by a central theme.
Sitting at home with a head cold watchin' the latest Dust vids and... hey, those folks have "no accent" and, hey, are my Canuck spidey senses tingling? YES! Yes, they are! Fantastic, funny, upbeat scifi short! Thanks for making an otherwise achy, snotty, tea-filled day much better. Great work, eh?
I loved the intellect of Lori!
That was great!
Loved the way she destroyed it and solved the future problem.
Love and Time Machines...YOU GOT ME!!!!!
I am staying on this channel for experiences like that! Thanks creators!
This is probably the best and sweetest ones I've watched. Thank you!
Okay this one was really amazing. And was filmed in Halifax, Nova Scotia... Canada.... Wow.
Another excellent contribution! I guess Love wins out after all. 🤩
OMG one of my favorites!
That was awesome!!! Love conquers all!!! Great job! Well done, and definitely casted well!!!
a Great video once again .
Chuckles all the way with this lighthearted one, you have to admit. Great work and liked the actors involved. Nice melody too and that certain sound effect got me.. 😂
Simple mais efficace! Une belle histoire qui nous porte jusqu’au bout! Joli!
The fact that this movie is less than 10 minutes makes it very interesting
For a time machine it's so fragile. But I like that it has good ending which makes me happy
Sorprendente, excelente 👌
A happy ending! Awesome!
This short movie leaves a smile on my face
Certified Gold !!!!!
this deserves more views
Really well made short film ! It was intruiging and the scenario well structured
I am a bit disappointed in the ending though, I would have prefered to see the alternative ending where they or only she take(s) the full potential of the time machine
This was a new, interesting twist to the time travel idea. Great job!
This was a great little video. Love the storyline and how the outcome was in the end. Outstanding job on this!!!
Aww, this was the best one yet😊
One of the best shorts I've seen. And that bar is real and in Nova Scotia. I went and searched for it.
That was (is) [probably will be] adorable! ❤
