Thank you so much. I followed every step and had to get the new pump-it's working now.

I did not have a nail to open the panel so I improvised with a wire coat hanger straightened out one end. I use them to unclog drains of hair. This was a very helpful video. Saved me from throwing the baby out with the bath water. Bosch is a damn good product. I do not like these front load washers, but it has lasted us for a good number of years, I would say 10 plus.

I followed this video and was able to fix it in less than 5 minutes. Thank you for step-by-step video. Saved me a bundle, because I thought, I may have to get a new pump.

Thanks for saving me a few hundred dollars in service visit and parts! I still got 3 small cuts on my hands! LOL By the way: mine was a loud noise, no drainage, but the drum spun.

Thank you for sharing! I hope you will see this. How did you unclip the small tabs on either side of the white pipe? I was able to follow all the other steps, but now I'm stuck on the white pipe. The pipe on my machine is not long enough to bring it outside of the machine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks for the video and the link for the part. I fixed my Bosch 500 Nexxt thanks to your video. That top hose was a pain getting off and putting back on, other than that it was an easy swap.

Thanks. It helped me. The only thing that I added was a little vaseline ti the output ring and a little squirt of wd40 for the isolation feet to accommodate an easy slide into place.

Thank you so much! I've never had to do anything like this before and your video helped me fix the drainage issue when we were thinking we were going to have to replace the whole unit! Turns out one of my children's masks had made it all the way down the drain pipe. Once I opened the turn valve, and emptied a gusher of water...there is was, peeking up at me. Just one more reason to love covid. Thank you so much!

To keep from being cut (and you will) tape around the opening where you took the cover access off at the very start.

Use silicone grease to help the drain hose go into the new pump.

I had issues a while back (maybe 7 years ago) where the softener would not drain into the washer. For some reason I thought I heard part of the problem might be the pump. At the time I didn't have E04 but now have this error. I'll check the drain first, but luckily, I kept the original pump. I may actually reinstall that pump and see if the E04 goes away.

BTW, I never replaced that plastic circle the first time. What you can do is take the blue painters tape and tape all the sharp edges to prevent cuts. if you do get a knuckle buster, use superglue. That is the best way to stop the bleeding. Happens all the time with me
