I read the book a couple years before the movie came out which turned me onto the A-6. I even bought a plastic model of one. Absolutely stunning, I'll join the A-6 appreciation, it was a gamechanger in all respects and you've given all of us Intruder fans something to cheer about. The Jug standing in for the Spad is a bit awkward but in the end looks pretty spectacular, they're very close in spec and the Jug looked fine turning and burning in the weeds. The T55 that gets dropped on at 6:14 was the perfect example of Danger Close, it made me laugh when the troops started cheering. All in all a splendid recreation, thank you and I'm going to go watch some of your other offerings.

This is easily the best aviation game/sim based production I have ever seen about the air component of the Vietnam War. The effort you guys put into this is truly worth it, and the perfect music selection completes it. And to think, DCS is going to be adding the A-1 Skyraider, F-4E, F-100, A-7E, and F-8; not to mention there are now F-104 and OV-10 mods! We're starting to get closer and closer to a full plane complement for the Vietnam War era. As far as I'm aware, all DCS will be missing now is the OV-1, A-3/B-66 family, B-26K, B-52, B-57/RB-57, RA-5C, RF-101, F-102, F-111, and the A-37 (aside from a few more logistical aircraft and helicopters, gunships, maritime patrol, and small scout/FAC aircraft, many of which some not horribly complex mods could account for). Also could add the F-106 as an alternate history type of thing, since it never saw service in Vietnam but could have lol. What planes would you guys look forward to the most? Oh and don't forget there is an SR-71 mod if you ever want to find a way to incorporate that. Would love to see a part 3 or a remastered version in a year or two!
Straight up, this is SERIOUSLY BADASS! This shows what everyone in the US wanted to happen in Vietnam. Fight the war to win and quit having the politicians fuck it up. The truth is this country hasn't fought a war to win since 1945.

Wow! Great choreography and editing! Can't begin to imagine the amount of time you put into this. If we only had a real SE Asia map and period planes. Brings back a lot of memories. Hard to believe those were the good ole days for some. Well done! Loved it!
@@santannamv i understand what you are saying to a degree. The 60’s and 70’s were scary times. I think most of us saw the war as a necessity to stop communist expansion. We were die hard patriots with recent memories of WWII and Korea and were genuinely concerned for the People. The youth on the other hand saw it totally differently. And the politicians, as usual, screwed it all up. Most of us didn’t glorify war but yes we wanted it done right and over quickly, neither of which happened. And we repeated the same blunders 20 years later.
Years after years you guys improved to a shocking level ! You push DCS and it's MODS to its limits ! Plus you master real professionnal Editing ! Though i won't never understand the third generation's fascination for this "sweet smell of Napalm in the morning" as they decribed it ! ;-) Not to mention the perfect music choices ! Well done guys !
After all the DCS missions I've flown just in the cockpit, it was awesome to watch this cinematic video, especially from the SEA time period. (Me: USN, 1971 - 1973)
Great video! Throughly enjoyed it. Just 2 problems with it. We weren’t still flying P-47’s in 1967. Secondly as a Vietnam Warbird owner it would have been nice to see the FAC O-2 swooping in and directing the fighters and bombers to their targets.
There's no A-1 Skyraider available in the game, the Jugs are a stand-in. Also, I'm not sure if there's a Skymaster or Bird dog modeled currently in the game either.
Amazing cinematics! You really could have done three or four videos out of this one.. only someone who edit videos knows how much work something like that takes…. Really impressive.
Awesome! I loved the first and this is great too. Wondering where you shot this. I saw some Marianas for sure but maybe a little Syria or maybe a terrain mod of some sort in some shots?
Dear Dominik and team, this video is the most incredible action packed video I have ever seen. It is absolutely outstanding. It must have taken you 100s of hours ! Well done and thank you for your sensational commitment to DCS. Awesome 👏 Kind regards Nick
Thank you Nick and you're welcome. Yes, it took a while, but it was a lot of fun. I'm glad you like it. We and I think the whole DCS community really appreciate you being so close to the people. You don't find that very often these days. Thank you very much. P.S. Nice hoodies you have on offer, one of my team is crazy about them, I hope they still have some ;) Kind regards Dom
Love this Edit 👍 thank you for sharing this. I especially loved the P-47 Jugs 🤷🏻♂️ I didn’t know they made it into the Viet Nam Theater of operations. Or were they a good stand in for the AE-1 Spads? 😊👍
this video just makes me want to go round to Eagle Dynamics and slap them repeatedly while I ask where the hell the F4 phantom module and vietnam map is before forcing them to watch this film with eyelids pried open in a tribute to Clockwork Orange and manically scream at them "Is this not sublimely cool as f**k!" whilst their pretty little minds break to the sound of Fortunate Son
Outstanding soundtrack, graphics and my favorite the A6 and of course in the Nam era alot more skill and less electronics. Truly looking forward to this theater of operation or history. There's alot of missions and battles. Outstanding prelude ☆☆☆☆☆
This was good, so much to watch and so many iconic aircraft and vehicles... except the Jug footage. Maybe you meant to have Skyraiders? Loved the A6 and F5 moments.
This video brought something home to me. I wondered if mankind will ever excell at creativity, rather than destruction, because we show an outstanding talent for that ✌️
The P-47 is a decent stand-in for an A-1 but I'd love to see the insane loadouts the Skyraider had.

@@kellerdominik7256 I even don t like to play DCS but this video is more like watching a documentary on Vietnam war. Many thanks, I have already watched it several times.
Very impressive! 👍
I wish DCS had A-37 also...😠
Just found the first one lmao
So glad you made a second one! Your music choice is impeccable!
many thanks Cameron
2:45, bombs everywhere, guy walking sedately. "I am on on a smoke break, and there ain't no rascal who's gonna interrupt it".
That was 11 minutes of my life very well spent watching a video. Thanks for creating and sharing this, it was awesome.
it was a great pleasure for me. Many thanks
btw this video was worth the waiting thx once more...really marvelous
Wow! Great choreography and editing! Can't begin to imagine the amount of time you put into this. If we only had a real SE Asia map and period planes. Brings back a lot of memories. Hard to believe those were the good ole days for some. Well done! Loved it!
Thank you Tom
DCS is really nice and this fiction is exactly what north-americans wanted Vietnam to be, not that nightmare that haunt them
@@santannamv i understand what you are saying to a degree.
The Video game is amazing in VR as well. Keep up the good work
That end Scene of that Huey landing on the landing boat in the sunset is just so majestic
I thought: If they had done that in APocalypse now, they would not have had to blow up that village..
@@PappyGunn Was just going to say the Huey with the sun like that definitely gave off some Apocalypse Now vibes.
Huey's with the fortunate son switch turned on! Classic.
Tout simplement génial, MERCI ! pleins les yeux et pleins les oreilles ^^
Merci beaucoup. C'était l'objectif.
Editing, Chatter, Action, Music and everything! 'Git yer case a beer for that one!'....
"Do you smell it? That gasoline smell? Smells like.....victory. Some day this war's gonna end!"
Nice Deep Purple music ... gives you that Rush that you can't HUSH!
P-47 is a good A-1 substitute
Nice job!!
I had a craving for another DCS Vietnam cinematic after watching your previous one. Outstanding work!
USS Truman did not exist. The Skyraiders made it to the conflict, but not the P-47's, but otherwise awesome montage!
I’ve been binge watching your first Vietnam video, this one couldn’t have come at a more perfect time :)
;) Thanks men
Imagine a Vietnam era game with Squad ground support but with DCS level sky support... that would be amazing.
Don't make me dream lol
Excellent job! All AC were well represented, Outstanding production!
Это самое крутое видео на тему «Вьетнама» которое я когда либо видел. 🔥🔥🔥🔥👍💪
I firmly believe that ED is building towards a Vietnam / SE Asia map with corresponding modules with the F4, F8 and eventual A6
This was AWESOME!!!! Great music choices too!!! great job man!!!!
Masterpiece! Such a good video and such a great taste in music.
Thank you SorelRo.
It's pretty much the law to play Fortunate Son when the Hueys come out.
Gotcha. Still a great video.
Shut the hell up.
Is there a problem? Do you not like the truth, constructive criticism or complements?
This is one of the most beautiful masterpieces of cinema! By far better than any Vietnam movie ever made!
Amazing cinematics! You really could have done three or four videos out of this one.. only someone who edit videos knows how much work something like that takes…. Really impressive.
Many many thanks Freddy. it was very fun to creat it.
Ala quem estaa aqui kkkkk, cara curto muito seus videos vc mt show
@@garribeiro7510 valeu! O cara aqui manja demais da cinemática
Fortunate sone and free bird! Dude this was amazing I bet it took a while to get every single shot
Absolutly fabulous for the scenes, the fights, the ambience and excellent choice for the musics. All the musics I love!
This should be acknowledged by official DCS news, this deserves a mention! GREAT WORK!
Many thanks for your kind words!!🙏
@@kellerdominik7256 Thanks to you for making an awesome movie for us to enjoy!
Awesome! I loved the first and this is great too. Wondering where you shot this. I saw some Marianas for sure but maybe a little Syria or maybe a terrain mod of some sort in some shots?
only Marianas. Thanks Krasniye
Action packed video! I loved it! 👍
Thank you very much. I also like to visit you every time you upload a video. I also thought of the song you chose, I just saw your video 3 days ago.
The cinematography in this one is out of this world. The timing in each shot is impeccable, must have been SO hard!
You know when you do something like that it's like a thought that's in your head and when you're in the flow you just do it. Many many thanks Thomas
@@kellerdominik7256 Yes this is stunning. Thanks !
I wish they would make DCS, Arma, and War Thunder into a single super game.
Your team never fails to impress, they need more credit for the great videos/movies! Keep up the great work!
Cool video! I don't know about the F-4 getting into a turning fight with a Mig 17 and winning though...
This video is awesome - Well done must have taken a lot of effort to capture with ED replay system.
Many many thanks it was ok.
One of the best DCS cinematics I've seen!!
Nice to see part 2 part 1 was great but this is twice as better! Great content man👍👏
Makes me want Vietnam *even more*. Gib us, ED!
Also, where'd that F-105 mod come from?
Amazing stuff !! hope we can have one day the Vietnam DLC 😍
The music is awesome.... Deep Purple. Fits the video like a glove. (And the bass player is Roger Glover.... glove, Glover.... get it?)
P.S. Nice hoodies you have on offer, one of my team is crazy about them, I hope they still have some ;)
Kind regards Dom
@@kellerdominik7256 Dear Dominik, send me an email with the merchandise you need. I will have some shipped asap. Thanks again and kind regards Nick
@@kellerdominik7256 I do not know what you mean i only odered 3 hoodies and 2 shirts ^^. But i loooove them.
War is an ugly thing… but goddamn this video was beautiful! Well done 👌🏾👌🏾
Minor problem with the p47s being used when they were long retired by vietnam but I guess they’re the closest thing to the ad4 in dcs
No Devil 505 :(. At least it's "Iron Hand" sister 521 makes an appearance.
10/10 as usual , nice one
Great cinematic, the level of hardwork put in this is crazy
Absolutely stunning work Keller. This videography is honestly super inspirational to watch.
Awesome! Great job guys!
Love this Edit 👍 thank you for sharing this. I especially loved the P-47 Jugs 🤷🏻♂️ I didn’t know they made it into the Viet Nam Theater of operations. Or were they a good stand in for the AE-1 Spads? 😊👍
I’m assuming they were stand ins
A-1H stand ins. 47 never made it to Nam, it was long gone.
@@hook86 you re right
DCS is really nice and this fiction is exactly what north-americans wanted Vietnam to be, not that nightmare that haunt them
Deep purple hush truly gives this that vibe. I love the cinematics of this era machines.
this video just makes me want to go round to Eagle Dynamics and slap them repeatedly while I ask where the hell the F4 phantom module and vietnam map is before forcing them to watch this film with eyelids pried open in a tribute to Clockwork Orange and manically scream at them "Is this not sublimely cool as f**k!" whilst their pretty little minds break to the sound of Fortunate Son
nothing looks quite so good as a bunch of Hueys in formation. so iconic. Wow the rest of this is so amazing.
I raise you a bunch of Phantoms in formation ;)
Thanks for keeping the history of the Vietnam War Experience alive!
Fantastic. But we need some A1 skyraiders ……. Epic airplane
Outstanding soundtrack, graphics and my favorite the A6 and of course in the Nam era alot more skill and less electronics. Truly looking forward to this theater of operation or history. There's alot of missions and battles. Outstanding prelude ☆☆☆☆☆
Nice video! Just missing Fairchild C-123 Provider. It was legend cargo airplane! XD
