@@Roadtripexcursion I mean yeah that’s Rule #1 of off-roading especially when on, in this case literally, foreign terrain. First sign was the snow and second sign was getting stuck once and getting out which Mav admits in the video. I think he still went through with posting this video to showcase a lesson for his subscribers and others to learn from his mistakes. You have a fair point but let’s give the guy a little grace. Mav is a good man all around.

I'm from Iceland. "Lets go get some cod tongue" has no one said to me in my lifetime. I'm 46. But "gellur", witch is the Icelandic word for cod tongue, is sometimes used for girls that sparkle with sexiness. And in a good way. I don't know why. And just so you know, the search and rescue is not funded by the government. Funds to buy equipment, cars and choppers comes from companies and individuals. Those that rescued you are volunteers. They just love the lifestyle for some reason. And what you got stuck in we really don't call that snow, you just got stuck, I don't know how.

ALWAYS REMEMBER if your ever stuck make sure your muffler is not covered. If it is turn off your vehicle. There's been many people who get stuck sit in there vehicle and keep the car running for ac or heat and the carbon monoxide from the exhaust can't go anywhere so it comes back through the car. You fall asleep and don't wake up.

Hey mav, quick little tip with manuals/standard vehicles the only time you really need the parking brake is on a hill/incline, sometimes depending how steep you can turn the wheel and leave it in 2nd gear but usually when parking I leave mine in second
