You should do a cookbook of all the things you've made on your adventures and call it Mav cooked it !! Love your videos !!
That’s a great idea!
Gross
They're mostly from fans.
@@j.a.r.family2576 yh, but who cooked it? Mav
I'm definitely here for a Mav cookbook
125 pounds of weight loss so far and pedaling my bicycle, got 949 miles on it now , training for Ragbrai, which stands for Register annual great bike ride across Iowa, last week of July 2023. I go to the gym 4 days a week and walk 20 to 25 times a month 2 miles at a time. Mav videos are the best by far and inspired me to live life again and make the most out of it. Was at an all time high of 354 pounds, when I started watching Mav videos at roughly 454,000 subscribers. Mav is rocking it out of the park now. We'll deserved Mav, True inspiration to us all. Always stay true to yourself and take care and always Keep on Trucking!
Damn boy🎉
Fellow Iowan here. Keep up the hard work!
Keep on pedaling!!😂
Franklin CONGRATS WELL DONE Keep at it my brother! God Bless Always!
RAGBRAI is loads of fun.
I can't help but wonder how many times Mav stops and gets out of his truck just to get a camera setup for certain shots. Seems like a ton of work!
Life of a youtuber.
Thank you Maverick for all your videos . I started watching you one day because my son whom I miss very much ,wanted to do exactly what your doing!!! He is no longer on this earth😢He had always said he was going to do what your doing now. He was taken from us in 2012 . Thank you Maverick for letting me see what he would have done. Best wishes to you. 😊 Denna from Connecticut .
Hey, Dena, I'm so sorry for your loss! I lost my husband of 18 years and father to our daughter on this day in 2012. I've lost a lot of family, many in a short time but I can't imagine losing a child! The reason I started watching Mav in the first place was when he reached out to Steve Wallis after he lost his "Beautiful Wife" last year. I feel like Mav is such a sweet, thoughtful young man (like my son-in-law). I can see why you like to watch his videos to honor your son's dreams! Best wishes!
I’m from Missouri, so excited you’re visiting. Hope you enjoy, there’s a lot of hidden gems here 🎉
I’m from Springfield
@@jjhuddleston6285 I live in Southern California now, but grew up in Lee's Summit.
I was born in Kamsas City Missouri 70 years ago. Then we moved to Las Vegas Nevada but when I was young we visted Springfield every summer.. So beautiful and I always came home with a sack full of gourds..So many fun things to see and do.
@TheRupert Lee's Summit is like 15-20 minutes from me lol. Small world 😎
Yes there is!
whenever i feel lost, i come and watch one of your videos and i get a comforting feeling that makes me feel so much better. thank you mav🙏🏼
Bless you. Sending hugs your way
Channels like Mav, Steve Wallis, and NWFS always encourage me to get out and explore and enjoy nature.

👀 "suburban mom" vibe you said while making your dinner.....I will take that as a compliment, as a 53 year old mother of a 14 year son old living in the suburbs, I currently do and have gone camping for the last 40 years including 2 years in the Peace Corps living without electricity and running water....Don't count us suburban moms out now!❤
Mav has a suburban mom himself 😂
Right on Christy 🇺🇲
my inner mother really came out here. we love u christine
Exactly! And my name is Susan. haha
This has been a rough day for me but this video made it all better. Thanks Mav for taking us along on your adventures.
those ball joints crying for some grease lol
😂Just a little bit
Hi mav! I’m from Missouri and spend a lot of time down in that area. A lot of those trails are logging trails and could just dead end. You should also think about getting those ball joints fixed. They are squeaking bad lol
Winter in MN will do that
Agreed! Those balljoints were driving me nuts, so I’m sure Mav was just loving it. 😅They’re probably greaseable balljoints, too.
It's probably just leaf springs are dry and full of salt
any recommended trails for easy overlanding in southern/mid Missouri? we'd be coming from north Mississippi
@@joshuacripe1514 Without a Doubt you should try the Ozark trails. A few river crossings here and there, but nothing too terrible.
My man once again proving he has superior music taste blasting that old school SWS hell yeah
Well, first of all, thanks for the hometown vibes, Mav! I grew up in Missouri, and my dad was from a little town called Bourbon, near Sullivan. I haven't been there in a long time, other than to visit my family's grave at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. (My dad was in the army in Korean War and my late husband was in the AF. He died on 5/19/2012). As far as the suburban housewife's recipe goes, it looked like you jazzed it up as much as possible, especially for a late-night dinner!
Btw, you asked, so I'm sharing my Grandma D's family beef vegetable soup recipe, and you can do with it what you will. It's very easy, and a great crock pot meal on a rainy day or awesome when you're feeling down or know you have a lot going on during the day and want to just "throw everything in" and come home to a nice hot meal. I made it when my daughter was growing up when she was sick or just needed something warm and comforting. You take a pound of stew beef, a packet of beefy onion dry onion soup mix, and cut up fresh carrots and potatoes (I don't peel mine, but it's up to you). Add 4-6 cups of beef or vegetable broth, then as many fresh, frozen (or canned if you must) veggies as you want, corn, green beans, and peas are what I usually use, and the secret ingredient is a can of stewed tomatoes. Serve it with a side of crusty warm French bread and butter after a day of fishing or whatever and voila! It's great to have on a winter's day, too.
6 minutes in … the Mom in me was asking ‘why are you doing this?!’. So glad you listened to your gut & took trail 2! Great drone coverage Mav… good to see you in the truck! Keep Trucking!
The mom in me says, what, no coffee?
Mav back at it agian with the top quality truck camping content 🔥
mav back at it agian following a pattern to earn that sweet cheddar so he can buy more things like every other highly commercialized american
this video is very unpredictable. he got into a truck and got food. then he went to a camping spot and cooked the food in the back of the truck. then he went 2 sleep. he has never done this before...
@@onthesafestledge_9809 do you blame him? man has probably made millions off of youtube, you seem alittle jealous if you ask me🥴🫢
@@onthesafestledge_9809 I just try to enjoy the content and not overthink things. I am proud he has made a name for himself doing what he loves and that is something I am sure we are all striving to do.
@@Brandonnnnnnnnnnn482 nah not jealous at all whatsoever. hes just repeating a pattern to earn $ like any other entrepreneur. i dont have a desire to live that way. i want to break out of the same old patterns and discover something new or whatever...being original is outside of any pattern
Just found your channel recently, and I really enjoy it. I am in my 60s and have done a lot of what you do my whole life. I drove the Alcan back in the early 80s (1982 back when it was still all gravel except for around Whitehorse where there was around 20 or so miles of pavement) in an 81 Toyota SR5 4x4 with a used camper cap I purchased for 200 USD and lived out of it for months. Just a thought, with the number of subscribers you have you might want to consider getting a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and install an UrsaMinor roof replacement or a Gladiator Rubicon and an Alu Cab Canopy Camper. Those vehicles would open up so many more areas you could get into that you just won't be able to reach in your Ford or other vehicles that I have seen you use.
Sick to see Mav here in Missouri, I grew up running all up and down the MT Forest so this has got to be my favorite video since the Japan series, keep it up Mav, love all your camping videos
Hey! I’ve been wanting to invite you to the Ozark Mountains in Missouri for awhile now! Some of the most beautiful spring fed rivers you’ve ever seen. Camping is amazing! So glad you came. Welcome!
2.3 million subscribers and your suspension sounds like that? 😂😂 this is why I love this channel. Mav don’t give af.
My Dad retired from General Tire in Waco Texas after 32 years. Great tire!
I know this is an old video but I came across your videos recently and im catching up but just wanted to say you’re the man!!! Huge inspiration and one of the few people on UA-cam who anyone at any age can look up to! I’m actually inspired by you to convert something into a camper of sorts and I have never thought of it before I watched your videos. Also love how positive you are in the very situation and overall just a great person, your parents did a great job raising ya, keep on truckinnnn!!!!!
You need a winch on your truck Mav ! Some day it may just save you !
Agreed!
sending those daily positive vibes from Houston everyone!🙏🏽🌊
Now that's a comment brother!!! God bless you brother
@@jamiejenkins5643 cheers man!
Spent almost 4yrs in Missouri bc of the military. Loved every second - you made me very nostalgic. Thanks, Mav!
Those ball joints in the front suspension sound really gnarly. I'd say grease them but most vehicles don't have grease fittings anymore. But if you do replace them make sure the new ones come with grease fitting also known as "Zerk" fittings.
You have to respect the camera angles this guy goes through while self filming. Love the vids Mav! Small UA-camr here, I understand how much preparation it takes for these videos! Keep it up man!!!
I really love how passionate you are about camping
Mav, I love watching your videos! You r not only entertaining & informative but u also take me places I would never see otherwise! It's been a pleasure not only watching your channel grow but seeing you & your brand become beyond sucessful! Enjoy! 😊
hell ya man i myself am from missouri glad to see you stopped by!
Thank you, friend, as someone facing physical challenges these videos are appreciated. My dad and I used to go out and explore but as he's gotten up in age that's not possible. I sure do miss the adventures.
Hi. I wrote an instagram message. You live life to the fullest. Very good
You should do van camping

Love seeing my state being represented so well! You fit right in with us Missouri folk Mav! Come back anytime my man!
Me too. He needs to visit the Current river!
Thank god for your gut!! Nice turn around
Having a 4x4 really helps
I live in Mo about 45 min from Springfield. Glad you came to visit our state. Too bad you didn’t go fly fishing at Bennet Spring State Park. You were about an hour or so from there when you were in Springfield. Great video 👏👏👏
You're about 2 and a half hrs from where I live. Its a beautiful place, glad to see you're in Missouri creating content. Keep it up👌
Mav, love watching your videos! I’m from Ark and you’re already down in Missouri so you should come south and check out the Ozark or Ouachita forests. Hot Springs, AR is seriously a beautiful and cool town with a lot of history and things to do in the area
I love the adventure you are on! When I think about my insurance company tracking my truck I feel far less adventurous. Thanks!
nice mav! I just got home from a road trip to Maine from Oklahoma! it was great i found a really old pocketknife buried out in the woods in waited Maine. it's gotta be 50+ years old. was a great adventure for sure!!
Time to sit back and relax with the Mav man 👌🏻
I loveee watching you travel and experience new things it’s inspiring your videos bring me so much comfort
Keep on truckin
This is why I love my Ranger. That thing is 4x4 with a low profile and goes damn near anywhere I want!
Mav, I was on pins and needles on your Alaskan road trip, then again on your adventure in Japan. I wasn’t expecting this another nail biting trip as you venture out on one of the bumpiest, muddiest roads in the middle of nowhere! Once again another great video!
Watching your videos has help me to escape from this crazy out of control society.
I love it when a new Mav video is uploaded totally makes up for a long hard day at work ❤
Would love to see you start bowhunting would be a great addition to the channel during deer season
Mav you are such an inspiration!!
I was definitely shocked when I first watched this video. Been watching you for a couple years now. All of sudden I see the driving range I go to all the time!! Crazy stuff you came down south to the beautiful ozark! So cool!
Welcome to Missouri! Glad you enjoyed our state. Ozarks are beautiful, I love camping there in the fall.
This takes me back to the days of two-tracking in the bush with my dad. The armadillo was a plus. 😂✌️Thanks Mav. Excellent content.
Awesome to see you offroading Mav! Should get a winch and recovery gear 🤘🇨🇦
Thanks for showing my home state some love and keep on trucking.
Yeah I bet the weather feels awesome !!! I was feeling the same way lately
Let’s go Mav! 🔥 Love all the content.
Welcome to my neck of the woods, Mav. Missouri has some hidden gems. I'm glad you could share one with the world. 👌
Good to see you in my state. I’m glad you came.😊
You deserve the success you’ve had on UA-cam. You’re doing what you were put on this planet to do. Everything you put out is great. From the commentary to the cinematography- you’ve got it down. Editing skills, too! Thanks for sharing your journies with us. Safe travels and Keep On Truckin’.
it’s always a good day when mav post 😁

Great swing Mav. Golf is a lot like camping in the woods, both of which are very zen. Thanks for another great video.
Well said
All I’m thinking is “What would you do if you fully broke down??!” Would car rescue come and get you??? 😅 Love your videos Mav 😊 Keep on trucking! All the best from England 🇬🇧
I'm betting he could call General Tire &they would come rescue him.
Was thinking exactly that same thing, also i would bring along my Winchester lever action.. just in the off chance of something unpleasant occurring.. dont know what that might be , but i will when it happens.
@@stephenbartley8133 I was thinking more about car trouble, than any other problem, but in these days l guess you have to unfortunately be ready to defend yourself!😵💫🤯😪So F -ing sad!
Great video, I live in Missouri. Did you happen to see any snakes while you were in the Mark Twain national Forest?
Thanks for all the unique video shots and the amazing drone footage!
my lord mav what a wonderful weekend we both had. beautiful weather for the out doors. it was 80° on saturday and by monday morning it was snowing and 23°. gotta love the midwest
love your videos mav!
Am I the only one on here wanting going crazy bc mav didn’t post last Sunday ???
Welcome to The Show Me State, where I grew up and still go kayaking and camping. From Springfield, if you go east, you will arrive at the beautiful Ozark National Scenic Riverways with easy canoeing or kayaking, and if you go south a a few miles you come to some beautiful crystal clear lakes. Great camping in southern Missouri and northern Arkansas!
(Random dirt road with no communications unless you have a satellite messenger or StarLink which you do, but most don't.) I have been in Mark Twain, and a lot of the "roads" were made by Jeeps, Hummers, and 4 wheelers...

Should do the New Jersey Pine Barrens. It is the largest natural area on the Mid-Atlantic seaboard, it is a heavily forested area covering over 1.1 million acres and its underground aquifers have trillions of gallons of the purest drinking water in the country.
So cool to see Mav down in my neck of the woods. Truck camping out here feels like there's never enough time to see everything.
That truck is a beast to be driving through those tight trails. Nice!
I’m from Missouri! You should definitely go to the lake of the Ozarks!!! So beautiful, and tons of good people too!
Know nothing about golf but the sound is therapeutic
Your channel is the best advertisement for Ford I’ve ever seen!
Welcome to the Ozarks!!! You will love it here.
Hi Mav what a crazy ride, glad you made it through ,beautifulscenery, thanks for sharing stay safe stay blessed
Long time Mav watcher and supporter. Stoked to see him come to my home town!
I need to find more people like Mav in my area. Love your content my man! 👊🏼
Thanks for posting and sharing. Nice campsite.
Well, that was fun! Thanks Mav...cool idea, love you back in the truck! Drone footage added bonus.
Always a good time to watch Mav!
I’ve been subscribed to your channel for about 7 months now and love seeing your adventures but this one hit home for me literally, seeing as I live in Springfield, Missouri. 😂 glad you enjoyed the Ozarks!

Nice driving skills mate! Dinner looks yum as always
Hell yes!! Great seeing you enjoy Missouri, and I hope you got some KC barbecue on the way home!!
Dude ........ your hair cut is fire ... not gonna lie
Something you might think about which is 2 day a drive away. in the Gila Wilderness and Western New Mexico. And a place called The Gila Cliff Dwellings. If you're ever up for that type of Adventure!!!
That truck is bullet proof. Solid as a tank. Your home away from home. Old faithful. Amazing.
Hell yeah brother, love the videos, and I’m actually a viewer from Missouri. Great to see you enjoying the weather.
Also love the Pierce the Veil
Watching Mav catch the golf bug makes my heart sing❤
Loving your content back in the Uk, keep up the good work, & showing us amazing places 👏 👍
Great video!! I could have watched another 5 mins of those drone shots!
Just a little bit west of where you were is one of my favorite spots in the world. Absolutely beautiful part of the country, I'm glad to call home close by. Come back to MO anytime.
