@Charlie1776_b ecause of a thing called work ethic. Not to mention keeping up vehicle maintenance isn't cheap. Selling merch and renting out a house for airbnb doesn't necessarily make him a millionaire. I could do these travels with my current work schedule lol
That sounded like an awesome experience...right up until the algae caked windows you can't see through, the complete lack of room upstairs and the spiders. Yeah, gonna save money 😂

Isn’t there an under water rental in FL that you have to scuba dive to get to? I think Safiya Nygard and her husband stayed at that one. Mav might enjoy that one.

@@sinnysiva116 You have to be adventurous to want to do what a lot of people can’t do. If you don’t get it, don’t worry about it. Not everyone is adventurous and that’s okay.
Who would've thought that staying in an underwater shed with a bunch of spiders could be in a future travel itinerary. Definitely a must try for the claustrophobic and arachnophobic 😂

How sloppy of the management to get you a stay with dirty windows, no water and just one pan - hotel Utter are off my bucket list!
As a Swede I’m ashamed 😢 and it’s a pity all UA-camrs seems to miss out on the west coast of Sweden; the absolute best part of the country (yes; I’m biased 😊) please remember to next time 🙋♀️😘

I'm not gonna lie it would have been cool had the windows had been cleaned. - Not to forget at least refilling some type of water containers to bring out an drop off with whoever is staying. - (Edit here) still watching the video at least they did bring by some more cook ware and water 😂

@@Herbex7Or I know this is random but they have bong cleaners that use a magnet on one side of the glass. Possibly even just something like that keep it simple an not have to go in the water to clean it constantly. Pretty easy and cost effective at the same time. 😂

I hardly ever comment on anything I watch but I just feel the need to say how comforting these videos are. Just cozy entertainment. All throughout this past winter I remember making myself dinner and putting on a Mav video while I ate. Even once I was up to date with the videos, which was most of the time, I would go back further and further to previous episodes and keep watching. Mav's content is like the antithesis to modern UA-cam and reels/shorts/TikTok content. Slower pace, slice of life, adventures without being too clickbaity, and just a very personable guy on camera. I feel a lot more relaxed watching this than scrolling through a bunch of annoying shorts content that's for sure lol

Yeah Id have to 2nd that those windows underwater are extremely disappointing but the bigger question is ... How the heck do so many spiders get to a little shack in the middle of the water? Lol
Spiders “balloon” - floating in the breeze, they can also float on top of the water quite handily, drifting where the wind blows them.
Many spiders live in on or under the wood near or in bodies of water.
They were born there. Needs to be sprayed.
Spiders can both fly on their webs and swim ,although I'm not sure how far .
@@amandacollins2854 they balloon as far as the wind will take them, but they don’t actually swim, they are so light they walk on the water surface tension

Hey mav, I had a grandpa pass away just a couple years ago and he just got a new white ford f150 with 38,000 miles on it, now it currently has almost 49,000 on it, I inherited it luckily for going places but I’m 17 and gas prices are high, I can’t wait to make it into a lyrical like yours, keep everything up man it’s paying off.

Thats quite nice, to stay at an floating place in the middle of a lake that has a room under water. If I was the one to be chosen to have a night there I would have been a bit sad about those windows. Its like there is just a fake underwaterwindow made of orange light and shadows that pretend fishes. It could be so so cool to see clearly through those windows into the underwater world. And that hole is really scary and to small. But the experience must have been overwhelming!

You were in fact staying at Swedens third biggest lake Mav! Vänern is the biggest and Vättern comes in at the second spot. Both Vänern and Vättern has lake salmon and arctic char, but I think Vättern has a bit more arctic char. Lots of fishing trips goes on in both those lakes. Great vid, have a good one!

Hey Mav love your adventures. Fyi in my very limited experience with drones, I lost one in the water in block island landing it on a dock and it bounced in the water. Batteries catch on fire after submersing in salt water any way if landing or taking off air slots on a dock or table whatever it makes your drone not fly it flys erratically well actually usually tips over. Took me a while to put 2 and 2 together, it happened off picnic table also to me on a beach.
Set my PU like yours, works good. I camp out west from CO north and west love it. Keep on truckin.

When you're coming back to Sweden and maybe want to do some fishing then I'd recommend visiting Forshaga-forsen (Forshaga River), best place to catch Salmon in the middle part of Sweden. During high season you're only allowed to use fly rods. The spot is located right by a hydroelectric plant. When the water temperature is above 18 degrees celsius the fishtrap is closed , meaning they can't travel further up the river, so they all gather in one area and stay there. Fishing is prohibited though until the temperature drops below 18 C, so you gotta have good timing.
The temperature usually drops below 18 mid to late August/early September.
Side note: Europes biggest Sports Fishing school is also located in Forshaga.

there's a place called Jules’ Undersea Lodge here in florida the only problem is you have to get scuba certified, the hotel is under like 20 feet of water
