Hi Kristen..i love this blanket design, very beautiful. Do i have to use buljy yarn and size 11 needles? Could i use 4ply, dk and a size 6 needle? I really hope so as love this xx
Very nice. Thank you for this! I’m American, but never have learned the US sizes. I always have to look up how many mm the US needles are. I wonder if I’m the only one? 😂
Wow! Really stunning... Looks somewhat similar to your 'Diamond Hill Loop' pattern which I'm currently busy with for a nifty scarf. Can't wait to make this blanket! ✨
Yes, exactly! This blanket is modified from my popular Diamond Hill Loop Cable pattern to knit up a fully realized knitted project. Happy to hear you’re knitting a scarf!!! 💖
I purchased this pattern. I am on row 7, section 6. This section has 12 stitches, and the prior row in the same section had only 8 stitches with no increases in any rows. How do I receive assistance for this pattern?
It will make sense if you look at how the sections are divided in the knitting chart. Otherwise, simply follow the written instructions and you will be on track.
@studioknit I do apologize, but I do not know how to read a chart. I have my sections separated by stitch markers. As stated above, row 6 section 6 has 8 stitches. It does not include any increases. Section 7 has 32 stitches and remains as such. Section 6 increases to 12 stitches in row 7 and going forward. How do I do that with no increases.
You always have beautiful patterns. It would help if you showed the reverse side of a finished product so we can see what to expect before we start knitting. You provide clear instructions though and that is very helpful to have these videos to help understand the patterns. Thanks.
@@studioknit I understand that it isn't reversible but it might help new knitters to see what it looks like. I love working cable patterns and this one is beautiful. The only reason I don't make more cable patterns is because they are "yarn hogs". Thanks for your quick reply. Have a blessed day.
Very pretty blanket! Thanks for sharing!🤗

Would we we able to adjust the pattern to make the diamond longer horizontally? If so, how?
Beautiful 💖 thank you 🌻
Beautiful pattern. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, sorry! 11 US = 8.00 mm 💖
Gorgeous blanket! I’m really impressed with the color-coded pattern.
Thanks so much!! 📊
Can u use 4ply yarn and a smaller size needles?
Certainly! I haven’t tested with thinner yarn, so I’m not sure what the finished size will be, but please enjoy modifying it. 💖
I just purchased this pattern on Etsy I absolutely love cables and I can’t wait to make this beautiful blanket❤️
Hope you enjoy it!
So Beautiful pattern👌💝👍🙏

Can I use a Bulky weight yarn instead of Super Bulky weight?
Certainly. Use appropriately sized needles and your blanket will be smaller.
Beautiful
Can we use it for sweaters? or jackets?
Hello, this blanket is absolutely beautiful and I can’t wait to knit one. Thanks for the tutorial and pattern 😊❤️
Hermosa puntada!!!! Gracias por compartir 😘🇲🇽💐💐💐

Hi, Debra - Awww... so sweet, thanks!

Good suggestion! I didn't film the wrong side of the work, but it is not a reversible pattern, so the design is only visible on the right side.
