Firstly thank you for the video. When we finished knitting in the cables side of scarf how do we knit in other side ? Do we just purl it? Or how?
Thank you for this video! It was great to watch! Silly question but after the cable row is done, do you to two purl two knit, two purl two knit pattern in the following rows until the next cable or do we do two purl two knit two pearl SIX knit rows?
Hi, you just knit the knit stitches and purl the purl stitches as you come to them. If you would like to knit this Oscar Bobble Hat you can find the link to the knitting pattern in the description below :)
Awesome
Thank you for your tutorial! I will use this to make a scarf! How do you do the wrong side!!
Knit all knit stitches and purl all purl stitches on every back row.
Beautiful design! Could you please tell me what was the ribbing pattern for the border?

@@LindaWhaleyKnitStudio Thank you. That is very kind of you to reply.
Will this work for a man’s scarf? Never done cables before and my partner has asked me to init him one that’s like this so hoping this will work
Can you show any decreasing of the cable pattern please
I sort Have the same question as Roxy. After I complete the cable rolw should the next rows of six knit and pearl always land on top of the same stitch like purls with purls and knits with knits?
Hi Nancy, this video shows you how to cross over the stitches for a C6F. Stitches on subsequent rows can differ depending on the pattern instructions that you are following. Some knitting patterns will have different textures/stitches placed between the cables and above and below the cable rows. These rows will always be explained in the pattern you are following :)
Hm, i dont really understand.... it will be nice if you can show to me how to make it from the beginning 😅
I like to learn to knit a cable
Are you doing cross over at every strait row
Hi, every 6th row :)
When you come to the stage when you have to cast off, how do you do it. Do you cast off on the 6 stiches between the cables till you have only the cables left then just pull them through. Maybe too many stiches
Hi Mercia, this hat has a gradual decrease over a few rows. You can find the row-by-row instructions in the knitting pattern. Here's the link for you :) www.lindawhaley.co.uk/collections/pure-hand-knits-1/products/oscar
Thanks a mill Linda, I am from Namibia actually but moved to Cape Town 3 months ago.
Do you need to use a cable needle?
You can just use anything else that the stitches can go on. I personally use a random knitting needle with a similar mm size :) its also possbile to reposition the stitches on your main knitting needle itself but thats a bit trickier and requires practice. There's some youtube vids about how to cable without a cable neele aswell
Não entendo sua língua pode me dizer quantos pontos na agulha desde já agradeço 😊
