How to Cook and EAT the Best Artichokes in the Instant Pot ~ Easy Cooking

- In this easy cooking video, I show you how to cook and eat a jumbo artichoke in the Instant Pot electric pressure cooker. I simply trimmed the stems of the artichokes and put them in the Instant Pot with 3 cups of water. Then I cooked them on the pressure cook setting for 20 minutes and allowed the pressure to release naturally on it's own. The total time in the pot was 65 minutes.

This man changed the way I cook food, when I first saw him and Annie a year and a half ago ish, I got myself a toaster oven and a cast iron skillet, even avocado oil, which I did not know we had in Norway, it's expensive here though... I grew up eating them a lot, living only an hour from the artichoke capital of the world, Watsonville, CA. We ate them just like you do with mayo. They are so delicious.

My Nona would stuff Italian seasoned bread crumbs and Parmesan between the leaves and bake them with some water in the bottom of the pan. Sicilian.

It guess it can be either one. I just look for the one's that look pretty fresh, not dry and wilted.
