    Not only the level of tennis is top notch, the physical aspect of these games are also top notch. This is the most difficult in men tennis. Clay and against Nadal must be the ultimate challenge

    It's the perfect formula for long matches - two servers who take a long time to serve, two amazing tennis players who can defend well and sustain long rallies, and two opponents who are similar in skill to create games with multiple deuces

    Its very interesting how he changed and improved his forehand from 2009 to 2010. You can see 2009 Nadal has a much wider preparation, not really going down. 2010 Looks like the classic Nadal forehand. Much lower preparation and closer to the body.

    People sleep on 2007-09 Djokovic tbh. He was good, just overshadowed by Fed and Rafa at that time. Novak won masters 1000 titles on both surfaces, he won the atp finals (named masters cup at that time), AO and was beating all the best players here and there. It's just that he truly introduced himself in 2011, but was always good to begin with.

    • @natoskull2

      He was good, but still had the gluten intolerance which he treated just middle season of the next year by changing his diet. So he wasn't still the fitness beast he achieved to be in 2011, free of that condition.

      Most of Djokovic titles came after 2010 where his reign started. From 2003-2010, its mostly Fed and Nadal rivalry ! You can argue Djokovic timed his rise

Did the greatest ever lose 7 consecutive finals on all surfaces to his great rival, Novak? Does the greatest ever have 22 majors while his great rival Novak has 24? Does the greatest ever have zero titles in ATP Finals while his great rival, Novak, has 7 titles? Yes, and more. But of course, Nadal's fans live in parallel universes and alternative histories

      @tennis-man22 7 місяців тому +1

      @@MalekAhmed-kz3zu Anyone who has enough braincells can really make out that Rafa is truly the best.
      His peak was sandwiched between Federer's and Djokovic's, he never got his time to statpad where no other goat was there to stop him. Even after that he got 22 slams is beyond me, with all of those chronic injuries too.
      Djokovic only has the stats on paper, but anyone unbiased who has the knowledge of context in tennis truly knows that deep inside, Nadal is not only the GOAT but the biggest 'what if' too.
      Moreover, Nole has played Rafa post 2017 on HC + grass only 3 times where once he was taken to very close 5 sets too. Out of those 7 HC wins, 5 are statpadded in 2015-16. Tell me honestly, what do you think would happen if Nole was good enough to play Rafa more than 2 times during 2017-18 on HC? Need your honest answer 😂. Nadal was good enough in his worst years that Nole got to statpad.
      These out of context stats become meaningless when you’re actually looking at context too, instead of a low iq wanna be nerd judging the ‘GOAT’ based on spreadsheets only.
      The only legit streak Nole has is 7-0 in 2011, I admit it but Rafa did an amazing comeback and went 6-1 afterwars including 3 (or 4?) slam encounters as well.
