I cannot stop laughing at your commentary about that horrible room at Circus Circus! Your accent even adds to the hilarity of the review! Keep up the good work ,Lee!
It wasn't that bad. Dated; a bit grubby no doubt but theres been much worse than that. Overly hysterical review really, you had already prejudged it before reviewing.
I think the hotel room didn't look that bad, I've stayed there and Excalibur and the Strat, the rooms definitely weren't palaces but we weren't bothered as we just wanted somewhere too sleep, we were never going to spend much time in the hotel room as we were there too look around.
If you don't complain when things are bad, nothing will improve. We have had some massive upgrades over the years. Always the wife who complains though!
Price is everything. Get that first room for £40... fine, you suck it up and take it for what it is. When you're paying £300, you have every right to expect something far better.
Sorry Lee agree with other viewers, yes its dated but not that bad, seen worse. Regarding the lighting why did you not ring room service and get them to sort the bedside light out?
The other viewers who think that's OK, well let's say I'd hate to see the state of their house. If they think that's acceptable then then their house must be not very nice. 😂
I was in Las Vegas for one night while on a road trip with a work friend earlier this month. I was thinking of staying here, but ended up staying in the Rio All Suites Hotel & Casino which was pretty decent. Near the strip and free parking. Only cost £50 (£11 for the room plus £39 resort fee). Another great place we stayed the night before was in a place south of Las Vegas called Laughlin, the Avi Resort & Casino. Absolutely fantastic hotel, one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Right by the Colorado river, there’s even an artificial beach. Only cost £30 for the room (£15 each for me and my friend). Free parking and NO resort fee!
Mr mac master your so funny, the comment you made about the stained chair in the original room they put you in made me chuckle so much, lovely funny man ❤❤

Towards the end of your last review - you were telling the taxi drivers about the bad reviews for the Circus Circus hotel , so you knew before you booked what to expect. People referred to it as a ‘dump’, others ‘don’t stay here’. I appreciate you have memories of visiting this hotel in the 80’s - but i say again you had seen the negative reviews before booking.

We just missed you! Flew back to Canada from a week in Vegas last week. Apparently the OYO (formerly the Hooters hotel) is quite a mudhole. We stayed at Vdara, pricey but fantastic condo-like rooms, nice views and nice location. Then a final night at Mandalay Bay and it was night n day difference; the Mandalay you couldn't even put your own drinks in the fridge without being charged $65 fee, we were afraid to touch anything in the room or be charged for it, couldn't wait to leave. Will look into the South Point hotel next time, went there for the cheap but well rated buffet, it was great!
Nope, no, not on your life Lee! What a bloody dump! We last stayed in Vegas in July 2019 & stayed in the Trump international. It was outstanding, tried the $20 trick on check in, was upgraded to a huge 2 bedroom suite on a high floor looking out over Treasure Island. We were a family of 4 with two young adult boys and we could not fault the place at all. Spotlessly clean and the best part for us, the whole hotel is non smoking and there isn't a casino. The food in the restaurants was superb and fairly priced. Whether you love Mr Trump or not, the man can do hotels and do them well! Good honest review as usual Lee. ONWARDS my friend!👍👏😋👏😂♥️🏴🇺🇸
$37/day "resort" fee is very cheeky given how awful it is. I am pretty sure far better hotels on the Strip charge that for superior facilities, although I think the "resort" fee should be optional depending if you use certain facilities or not.

Good evening LEE I think the reason why. That the room had no lights is to hide the fact. That the room you stayed in was nothing but a dump. I can not believe you paid to stay there I think they. Should have paid you danger money😂
That seems fine for the price you paid believe me. I’ve been to Vegas loads of times and there are a lot worse places. If you want the Palazzo you need to pay for it.
It's right about standards slipping..... We stayed as a family in the early 1990s at the Centre Strip Motel...... Just like the Bates set up.....!!!..... Park your car outside the door..... It was part of the all inclusive package and I don't think it offered breakfast...... But we loved using Wendy's..... The room was basic and most of the equipment was dated..... But the aircon and shower worked... These were the days when you knew you had been in a clean environment if you didn't need to scratch all over the next day.........!!!!!!
Stayed in the Tropicana in 2017 and rooms were alot better and Tropicana was demolished on the 9th October this year. Circus Circus Opened 18 October 1968.
Agree with you Lee, I stayed at Circus Circus in 2017 it was a shit hole, it stunk, went for the buffet and a cockroach ran across the floor almost threw up over my food, couldn't eat anything else inside the hotel 🤮🤢
I am absolutely loving 🥰 this guy. So honest and real. Love the comment about the 80’s made me laugh so much! It is a hole. My god that Manor part. Black sheets, black wardrobe. Black Death. Lol 😂 how depressing. I went into the Circus Circus back in 1999 to look around. It looks the same as it did, back then. I follow UA-camr “ Walk with me Tim “ He stayed there too, he said it was a dive too. But he showed the swimming pool area, which was so gross. He also stayed in a room in there which he said was haunted, because apparently it’s the most haunted hotel. Watch his video. He woke up with scratches on his legs. Either a ghost was in there or a lady of the night lol 😂 Mac I think you are great and look forward to your video’s. Circus 🤡 Circus 🎪 is a hole. The people staying there look either confused, or your average Butlins, Pontins, holiday crowd. To them it would be a palace lol 😂
That indoor theme park reminded me of Metro Land at the Metro Centre in Gateshead. Very 80s 😂 Did you have any food there? (or too scary a proposition?) 😂
You should have gone to the Bellagio….go to the service entrance and ask for Jose , he can get you in to a penthouse suite for next to nothing……of course it’s closed but….

Stayed in the main hotel back in 2010, only change I can see is the laminate flooring. Place is still a dive.
Hey Lee stay in the ibis budget in Southampton uk your rooms were luxury compared to the ibis in Southampton uk 😂😂😂
Can tell you want to p..s youself laughing your reaction is hilarious,
I think the ice bucket in the bathroom was the waste bin🎖️
Stayed in the Tropicana in 2017 and rooms were alot better and Tropicana was demolished on the 9th October this year.
Circus Circus Opened 18 October 1968.
I stayed there that year aswel , no resort fees and was a great room and pool area such a shame it’s now gone .
Agree with you Lee, I stayed at Circus Circus in 2017 it was a shit hole, it stunk, went for the buffet and a cockroach ran across the floor almost threw up over my food, couldn't eat anything else inside the hotel 🤮🤢
its not bad unless you book a room in the manor buildings
Floors are great laminate not solid wood but no to bad for the price pay 300 a night plus for a decent room it's expensive in Vegas
You must stay at The Norbrek in Blackpool next time you come. There is nowhere worse.
I do wish Lee wasn't so subtle with his opinion of the place, hard to know what he really thinks...
Tim got a worse room Lee. You were the lucky one. It was dated and poorly maintained but not that dirty. We can't comment on the smell.
Oh dear Lee well at least you had some lights in the second bedroom 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Back in Vegas again? Circus Circus also has the worst buffet in Las Vegas, and it’s been that way forever just a lot more expensive now.
That indoor theme park reminded me of Metro Land at the Metro Centre in Gateshead. Very 80s 😂
Did you have any food there? (or too scary a proposition?) 😂
You should have gone to the Bellagio….go to the service entrance and ask for Jose , he can get you in to a penthouse suite for next to nothing……of course it’s closed but….
I wonder if Calvin Harris' debut hit "Acceptable in the 80s" was written after a stay at Circus Circus...
Vegas baby, Vegas!!
