Some issues I got with the video: 1. The best way to do a comparison between hardnesses is by buying the same model in one 3 of them. Each model has its own unique hardness due to the different surface, for example Zero XSOFT is softer than Otsu XSOFT. 2. Zero and Otsu have even X - Y axis but Hien does not so putting it vertically on your desk is not how the pad was intented to be used. 3. Otsu XSOFT is considered the best variant for the Otsu cause the other two lack stopping power for some reason, Hien MID is considered the worst Hien variant while with Zero you can get away with any of them but for some XSOFT can fill muddy.
@@Mimino1234 There is no best. The surface is exactly the same on all of them and they're all the same speed if you don't press down with your mouse. Find what works for YOU. If you're not sure where to start, go with soft.
not sure if anyone already mentioned anything but the pads were in the wrong orientation, which depending on the weave of the pad can have a huge impact on feel/performance.
There's no such thing as right or wrong orientation. They are designed to be horizontally orientated but keeping the mouse pad vertical has more benefits if you're not using a sleeve or if the edge annoys you. The weave doesn't imscr aiming more than your forearm sliding on 2 different surfaces. On top of that the artisan weave is top notch
good comparison, just wish you kept with the same pad. the speeds of otsu, hien, and zero are all different. hien being the fastest and zero being the slowest
Because you rub your forearm against the side of the mousepad or a small part of your skin touches the table. Essentially, your forearm touches 2 different surfaces in the middle, one moving slightly faster than the other.
@obiwanglennobi777 im using the zero soft now. Its better than the steelseries but similar. Used the artisan otsu, it feels so nice but its just to fast. I would love to use it but it hurts my precision
@@sxx01I see. I’m using the Raiden mid so if the Otsu was too fast.. never even think about trying the Raiden 😅 Even used glass mouseskates with my previous mouse, now I’m using the vaxee np01-s wireless with its stock mousefeet, thinking about putting glass/sapphire/obsidian/ceramic mousefeet on it, just not sure what exactly. Glass feet probably would wear out the fastest so probably gonna skip that. Always heard great stuff about the Artisan Zero so I’m sure you got quality right there
Non ha la minima idea di quello che sta dicendo. Non si era neanche accorto all'inizio del primo unbox che il tappetino era sotto sopra . Poi i confronti di durezza si fanno tra stessi modelli e non alla cazzo.

For the hien the best is soft or xsoft?

I ditto the Zero xSoft having that muddy feeling. I wish I went and bought the Soft like I did with the Hayate Ostu.
I love Hien Mid but hate Soft and XSoft because it digs into the mouse skates too much, there is no best base hardness.

I run an xSoft as well (thanks Kuachi!) and I can confirm probably the best pad I've ever used. :)
Glad you like it!
Using the artisan raiden mid with the vaxee np01-s wireless, no complaints whatsoever. Even thinking about throwing glass or ceramics on there
Best comparison online. Thank you!
Got an XL XSoft too, love it
Thx for the review.
You're welcome

Anyone decoded which pad Av3k actually chose? :) is it Zero XSoft?
Why do you play with your mousepad vertically instead of horizontally on your desk...? 😅
Because you rub your forearm against the side of the mousepad or a small part of your skin touches the table. Essentially, your forearm touches 2 different surfaces in the middle, one moving slightly faster than the other.
Should i get Mid or soft if IM used to cloth pads but want speed
awesome thanks!!!
how are we not getting a wireless mouse for this test.
I like Xsoft also most
Average blat od biurka enjoyer here.
Im using the steelseries too and want ro replace it. What do you use now?
Go with either artisan or LGG. You have to figure out for yourself what you like the most.

If you like the EC2-A you might like the G403 from Logitech.
Im sorry but the QcK Heavy is firm af, its not soft at all.
is the soft or mid texture more similar to the steelseries qck edge mousepad

Artisan Zero njoy your hair catcher .

@@EndpointQuake just a tip: After washing it, it slows down a bit, and hair catching feature is mostly gone (using it myself)
