I built one yesterday (not kidding). It even has a spring built in, like real bungees. Why waste your money when you can literally built anything in no time with Lego (also have a phone stand...)
@K-plus tunjevina if you don't like having tape on your monitor or are to far away from a wall, then a bungee is perfect. Of course, its only really for low sensitivity competitive players who experience constant drag and is why taping the wire to the desk is not so efficient. If you're playing casually at an eDPI of over 2000, then you probably don't need a bungee or a DIY solution, but don't go around telling people who need it that its useless. Again, it caters to the same gaming audience who would buy a simply mouse with a good sensor over a budget mouse or overpriced aesthetically pleasing mouse with a shit sensor.
Then a lot of people must be really stupid if the concept still exists and is used of a wide spread of people. I mean it aint exactly a mandatory thing but still its nice to have kind of like a head phone stand.
@@MikoOhneHose had mine for over a year i think, lg g700s works great. Even though it has a good charging cable port design the micro usb broke from wired use putting unnecessary stress, but i have battery chargers so im fine.

I have the "el cheapo" bungee and you didn't have the chord properly placed in the slots along the base. This is most likely the reason that you find it didn't work very well
agreed! I must say you can easily fix it with as what Dmitry said for the Zowie just use some tape to hold the cables on place. as much as I don't want to say, it sounds really bias.
The cheap bungee is the best bang for the buck. Ive been using one for a couple of years now and it actually holds the cord well if you properly thread and cable into the 3 slots and give it the proper slack. It wont budge or pull or be a hassle as this video shows. This is coming from someone who has used tape for years and got annoyed with having to retape when lanning with friends as well as risk ruining surfaces with good tape. And tape isnt free, it costs money lol. IMO cheapest one is the best function for the money.
You can use the DYI approach or buy the 8$ ''El cheapo'' bungee and tape the cord to the bottom of the bungee when you get it through the main holder...pretty much just what Dimitri did to the Zowie bungee. Hope this helps!
Just make sure they get C's on all the transcripts... Don't need to waste time on classes and shit... but gotta cover the paper part for the tax man and whatnot... still, I mean what are they bitchin about, they get a free collage education and a chance to play in the league of legends!
I've definitely had my table, monitor or something else force me to output an unexpected higher amount of force. It's like being stuck for a very small fraction of a second, but that can mean your timing is off. That's what tug is. The idea behind a bungee is that it's supposed to feel as much like using a wireless mouse as possible. Most mouse bungees unfortunately look the part, but do not function well and can end up causing an issue where the farther you go from the bungee, the more force you have to output to keep the mouse in place. Once you let go, the bungee will pull the mouse back. The other issue I have is that they don't angle the cable at a high enough angle, so despite not tugging, the cable grinds on the mousepad, creating a lot of friction that I have a hard time getting used to with muscle memory. With that said, I've had the best experience with the generic bungee, seen at 4:20. You know, the one that says "MOUSE BUNGEE" in some weird font and has the reflective metal ball that looks like a fisheye camera. All these rubberized ones exhibit the same issue I mentioned above. With the generic bungee, I removed the feet, got some adhesive you use to put posters on walls, cut it into 4ths and put it on the corners underneath the bungee. You can remove and reapply the bungee several times before it wears out, and with bungees with their own adhesive, if it seems to not stick as well, take some tape to it and get the debris off with that. Also, when you put your mouse cord on a bungee, see how much distance it is from the end of your mouse to the tip of the bungee, and give the cord about 4 more inches of wiggle room. You should experience no tug.
Interesting that you listed all those reason and not the ones why I suspend my mouse cables - it reduces drag on the mouse, making mouse movement more accurate, eliminates the cord getting stuck on stuff on your desk, and slightly reduces the weight of the mouse since you don't have to move the cable along with the mouse if it's suspended properly.
I have my mouse cable zip-tied to my keyboard's cord, with some excess cable (to allow for mouse movement) tucked below the keyboard. It makes the cable management a lot cleaner and functions like a bungee without the need to add anything to your desk as far as I'm concerned The only time I've ever noticed cable drag was when the cord from the mouse went straight to the edge of the desk, causing it to pull down there, so this has been a perfect solution for me. I'd recommend this instead of taping the cable to the side of your monitor.
Yeah, I play WoW, a bunch of FPS titles, and some other shit and I've never had an issue with my mouse wire. Not sure why/how this is actually necessary.
Not sure why everyone seems to be hating on Aidan, I thought he did a good job. Nice video, although the Zowie camade linked in the description looks like it only comes in black and red, where do you get the mostly black one with white accents?

Best diy option. Cut a line through a straw and place your mouse wiren inside, then tape it shut. Then stick it to the back of your desk it it's close enough and you have a flexible bungee!
I have the cheapo bungie and it works perfectly fine, doesn't slip. Try allowing some slack between the top mount and the middle mount. It helps a lot.
I 3d printed mine (0.5$ of filament) and I love it so much :) if you ALREADY have an issue with mouse drag they're useful but otherwise why bother... my g502's cable was really annoying to me. compared to my mx512 at least. the old mouse I had a thin nice cable so it never bothered me. but this keeps curling and hitting objects on my desk etc and it's generally a pain. so this helped a lot. still I'd honestly just tape the cable to the side of my monitor.
I have a cell phone, tablet holder with a strong clamp but no bulky on the side of my desk, with an adjustable steel neck, and I just used this one to hold the Logitech 502 breaded mouse cord as well, with a neat Velcro setup following the neck until the back of desk, with enough room to move freely the mouse in the pad, --> Clears the Whole Front Desk , works like a charm :) , no need for any of this bungees. Highly recommended for productivity and gaming Dmitry, but we know u like your CAMADE ;) , works for me and my team. But thnks for the cool review, ther's always something for everyone . cheers
I would like to say, you don’t want to a have a bungee that permanently sticks to the table like the bunker because if you do a large swipe on your mouse pad and you go out of the bungee’s range it will pull on your mouse and put strain on your mouse cable and that can’t be too good for the mouse, you would rather have the bungee fall over instead, I heard about this on rocket jump ninja’s channel and thought it was worth telling because he did not mention that.
Yeah guys, I get it, you have a wireless mouse. However, wireless mice usually cost 2x-4x as much and this is a great way to SAVE money even though many people are complaining about the pricing
The mouse bungee is for competitive(and some casual) low sensitivity players that are bothered by cable drag. It won't really matter to those who aim with their wrist.
James Prinse Not really the point I was trying to make. All I'm saying is that you are more likely to benefit from mouse bungees if you use your arm to move the mouse rather than using your wrist. Not really anything about weight, but more about feeling the cable move around on the surface and possibly interrupting your focus in game.
I see it as useful for high sensitivity players. (thats a lie, I think it's waste of money whoever you are) but I play high sensitivity and there are times when i'm running and I take my hand off the mouse to type while running. I've had it where when I let go, the mouse drags or due to stiffness of the wire itll move ever so slightly and aim at the sky or the ground. Such a pita and I bet this thing would certainly lend a helping placebo hand in keeping my mouse where I left it when i take my hand off.
I currently running my Razer Deathadders cable internally through my Dynex keyboard (worth around $10) I did that by cutting two holes on both sides. I plan upgrading my keyboard to something more "professional", Azio's MGK1-K and I'm not cutting any holes in that so...Mouse Bungee FTW!!!
Thanks, I feel the same way toward more expensive keyboards. That got me looking into other options and I found some Adhesive Cable Clips with some sort of 3M backing. I was thinking about sticking those to the underside of my keyboard instead: www.amazon.com/dp/B01HR9VS4I/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=806UL552QOP5&coliid=I33S4EL0C7MQ6J
Not a bad idea. The one difficulty could be that there might not be enough clearance for them underneath the keyboard, but you could probably stick them on the rear edge of the board. If you end up doing it I'd be interested to see how it works!
The "$8 cheap Amazon one" you listed is the very original mouse bungee that coined the term to begin with. I use the exact same one (the only difference is that mine has a no-longer existing web address printed on the side) for around 20 years now and it is the only thing in my setup that I've never upgraded or even felt the need to replace it. I can't agree with your synopsis here. Otherwise, good video as always, keep up the good work!
I can confirm the $8 bungee is very good if you can blutac it to your desk. I really can't find any problem aside from the easily fixable lack of weight.
i cant believe that you didnt mention the bungee is used for reducing drag! my mouse if not very heavy (89 grams) but its still a little too heavy for me, and the way my desk is designed means the cable has to go down to plug in, causing drag and extra weight that's why i taped the cord to the back of the monitor, which is a more pretty solution than the one you guys suggested
I knew this channel will grow, Subbed when you were at 10k and I remember thinking "the quality of your videos doesn't match your sub count" you always made professional videos
2:33 Followed instructions and ensured my mouse could reach all of the edges... Now I have to much slack. Please help. I use a corsair extended mouse pad. PS: My bungie is a 3M wire clip.
The razer bungee doesn't work as well overtime because the adhesive wears off over time. I've been using it for about a month or two and it started wearing off, now to secure it. I have to wedge it between my desk and my wall. I think the bunker would be a better option for securing wise. But I prefer performance over aesthetic purposes. You may think other wise.
i'm just here trying to find a bungee that will get my cord to stop getting stuck under the foot of my monitor mid game stopping my mouse movement entirely. xD wtf is this stuff about having the bungee "guide" your movements?
If there were a product for TV commercials, would be the mouse bungees: a cumbersome solution for a problem that only happens to clumsy people in the ad. "Are you tired of not playing good because your mouse cord?? This happened to you?? Or this?? .. presenting.. the turdmatic3000 cord holder"
I taped my mouse wire to the bottom right corner of my monitor, it's customizable. I used black duct tape so I can barely see it due to my monitor having a black trim, it's barely noticeable. it's practically free and it works the best based on what I've used
LMAO. Who buys this shit!? Sure it's got a purpose, but it's so simple to DYI it if it's that much of a concern. Can't believe this is a thing. I actually checked to make sure this wasn't uploaded on April Fools.
I'm the supposed kid, yet you seem awfully sensitive because I called a useless accessory, useless. Which it is. Like doing so somehow insulted you in someway lol. At least I wasn't suckered in by a company only wanting your money and will try and sell you something you really don't need on the hopes that you will somehow improve in CS or some other game. I can picture your computer setup now, Razer and Alienware products everywhere, maybe even an RGB mouse pad. You want to know how many pro use these in competitive, almost none. You don't see CS and LoL (INSERT COMPETITIVE GAME HERE) Pros carry out their bungee before their next game. If it gave them an advantage they would do it, even just from the potential sponsorship cash, but they don't....
I haven't tried eating shit either, but I know it's terrible. If you want to waste your money, don't let me stop you. If it really is that big of an issue, go by a cable management stick on dot.A company called Avantree on Amazon sells them called cable clips, but they're sold everywhere. They're like $1 and have more uses. For the combined cost of a good gaming mouse and one of these waste of money bungees, go by a wireless G602 from Logitech. No noticeable delay and CSGO pros use them already.
I never had 1 of these but back in my pro gaming days I rigged my mouse cable through my monitor stand it worked like a mouse bungee but I don't think they even had nothing like this back then. I could tell and fell a big difference after I started to do that because the mouse cable has drag I still whip my mouse pad and mouse feet all the time dust on the mouse pad or mouse feet will effect your tracking you could aim but when it comes to tracking you want no drag at all and a smooth and really good mouse. My mouse is the same as back in the golden age of gaming the legendary logitech G5 laser gaming mouse the black and blue mouse it feels like it is floating on air with the right mouse pad. And don't use your full arm on the desk my arm is 95% off the desk no arm friction or drag I use just my wrist if I had a watch on half the watch will be off the desk it's the only way and best to track, snap and flick smooth snappy and real fast aimbot like.
I watched this video and then realised that my mouse is wireless.

I really can't find any problem aside from the easily fixable lack of weight.
i cant believe that you didnt mention the bungee is used for reducing drag!
my mouse if not very heavy (89 grams) but its still a little too heavy for me, and the way my desk is designed means the cable has to go down to plug in, causing drag and extra weight
that's why i taped the cord to the back of the monitor, which is a more pretty solution than the one you guys suggested
G502 X?
That's what it means to have the movement consistent.
9:21 Thanks god
Sealander lol
Oh no, he came back.
I just stick a piece of tape over the wire with enough slack in it for me to move the mouse all the way across my mousepad. Works a trick!
Really really really informative video. which then led me to subbing and looking at tons of other videos. Great Job guys! Keep up the good work!
I use a glorious model O and it is like playing wireless whithout any bungee
Your channel is gay
@@blakey1032 Thank you
@@su_real no problem

Just BringIt Then try the G403 Prodigy wireless. same sensor as G900 but much more ergonomic
g403 master race
how long have these existed? i've never seen them before, but i can see how useful they are
I knew this channel will grow, Subbed when you were at 10k and I remember thinking "the quality of your videos doesn't match your sub count" you always made professional videos
I bought a Hoco bungee at $9, it works pretty well with 3 usb ports and a card reader slot.
The only down side is that all usb ports are 2.0
me: doctor i think i have the coronavirus
: *a mouse bungee can help*
Lol
sorry but tape isnt better than the Amazon bungee you didnt instala the cable properly on all bungees
I've made a mouse bungee out of lego and it works fine!
Post a clip of it
The idea with the tape is exactly what I was hoping for! Thanks!
2:33 Followed instructions and ensured my mouse could reach all of the edges... Now I have to much slack. Please help. I use a corsair extended mouse pad. PS: My bungie is a 3M wire clip.
the 8 dollar bungee works great. i feel attacked right now
The redhead looks like he got out of mass effect andromeda lol
I like my mouse bungee. I want to try a paracord cable next though and see how I like it
The razer bungee doesn't work as well overtime because the adhesive wears off over time. I've been using it for about a month or two and it started wearing off, now to secure it. I have to wedge it between my desk and my wall. I think the bunker would be a better option for securing wise. But I prefer performance over aesthetic purposes. You may think other wise.
i'm just here trying to find a bungee that will get my cord to stop getting stuck under the foot of my monitor mid game stopping my mouse movement entirely. xD
wtf is this stuff about having the bungee "guide" your movements?
Really, a paracord is all you need. Paracord plus mouse bungee should be good.
I don't think we are on the same planet....tape is not free, you have to buy it
ethantube98 go to any office and ask for some or buy the $0.99 one, which costs less than a freaking $50 cable lifter. AmIRight?
still not free
Don't need a bungee if you have a wireless mouse. (insert that meme with the guy with 2 fingers on his forehead)
(Inserts goku doing instant transmission)
Got kicked out of your house when you were 18? A bungee can help.
Ever wanted to watch linustechtips, but the videos were just too good? Watch this guy!
Vídeo starts at 9:21
jk why hate aidan?
watching this in 4k you can actually see the sweat on his face :o
I realized this was in 4k when I could see your sweat particles
Its basically 2 chopsticks glued together
Just bought the cougar bungee. Looks like the best bang for the buck to me
Just waiting for an RGB mouse bungee...
I have good news my friend
I got one for my wireless mouse, but I don't know how to use it :/
Shen Yang You are intellingent
Yikes razer bungee no longer 20. Now it’s 100 ;-;
What, its like $25
Instructions unclear, accidentally broke the monitor and cut my wirelessmouse wire...
I bought a $10 dollar mouse bungee on ebay a while ago and it's the best $10 dollars I've ever spent.
Ball one? Ordered one too.
Just tape the cord to the desk
going to get a razer bunjee for my g900
Mustang1258 lol
It sounds like he is struggling when he talks
Toasted sounds fine but it looks like he’s struggling
Aiden's accent sounds like he's been eating ice and his tongue is too cold to move.
I use the Logitech G403 Wireless,sooooooooooooooo......................
MitchMason don't care a shit
:-(
you need to bungee the wireless signal
aidan has a nice name
Pointless for me, im using the Logitech G Pro Wireless ;)
Haha
You can bet a black binder clip and clip it to the back of your desk/monitor and guide the cable through the handles.
Did the same thing haha
I taped my mouse wire to the bottom right corner of my monitor, it's customizable. I used black duct tape so I can barely see it due to my monitor having a black trim, it's barely noticeable. it's practically free and it works the best based on what I've used
I've never heard of these things before and they are the dumbest looking thing I've ever seen.
Bruh
Controller player i'm out
I hope you're not playing shooters on pc that way lmao
LMAO. Who buys this shit!? Sure it's got a purpose, but it's so simple to DYI it if it's that much of a concern. Can't believe this is a thing. I actually checked to make sure this wasn't uploaded on April Fools.
D.I.Y is ugly and the tape can come off while buying something will let it last forever as you know, tape isn't free.
ShantyGaming But they do???
ShantyGaming how do you know it doesnt help If you have not tried it
I haven't tried eating shit either, but I know it's terrible.
8:15 is the diy bungee! (If you wanna use this solution use more than one layer of tape)
