Magnificent catches of the train coming by and pass, I like it 5 stars. Thumbs up. Hearing that amazing puffing and chufing sound and coaches coming through is absolutely crazy. Keep up the perfect work, my friend, I just liked and subscribed your channel. Happy New Year. Greetings from Portugal to the USA.
Chased it into and out of KC on the southbound and back into town on the northbound return. 2024 was a blast for steam here with both 2816 and 4014 coming through town.

Fantastic Video and photos! I was at B-17 in Bensenville when it left. I think I was behind my friends blue car
Your videos are some of the best that I love to watch beginning to end, just like reading a fascinating story book, keep up the great work !
Wow - thanks for your kind comment. Glad you like them! It motivates me to create more.
Got to see it in Wisconsin while we were heading for the iron range, it was a pain to catch twice. Holy cow.
Another fantastic video Steve! Keen to see more slideshows from the 80s and 90s, I love watching those ones
Thanks! I am slowly working on one about foaming the PNW when I moved there in 1990. One of these days I will get around to finishing it.
I love those photos with the engine with the rain on the camera lens.
I was really kinda pissed after I got in the car and looked at them 😂. In retrospect - they are cool!
@@stevenjbrown1697 yes they are
Mexico added to the infinite list of places I need to visit before or die.
I saw the locomotive in Mexico City. It was at the end of her trip in Mexico City. I had never seen a steam locomotives in steam.
Very nice - I hope you get more opportunities!
@stevenjbrown1697 Thank you! Aslo I loved your video about Chicago railroads in the 1970s
Excellent video as usual. Are those catenary poles from the defunct NdeM electrification?
Yes they are
The crowds in Mexico were amazing! Think they were hard up for some steam action?
Probably no steam there in over 50 years.
Did you stop in Kansas City when they had it parked next to the newly painted diesel?
I did not go into Kansas City.
