  • Ran out of Westport, WA for halibut and ling cod on 24 Sept 2021. Light seas at ~4’ at 11 seconds. Both are commercial grade welded aluminum catamarans. SlapShot is 34’x12’ with twin Suzuki DF350s and Feral is 30’x10’ with twin Suzuki DF300s.

Nice, ACI been building Cats way longer than allied. We are wanting to start a build and will probably go with ACI or Brix. The Allied looks nice but they are new to Cats where ACI and Brix been at it a long time. Love to see some comparisons though. Love that 34x12 ACI.

The 34x12 is awesome. I helped the owners design her and it’s been a terrific model for ACI. Yamaha 425s would be much nicer on her stern than the DF350s.

We are in western Washington. It was 8 am and 59°F. Folks want in the cabin with the diesel heater or on a bean bag in the cockpit and out of the wind. :).

@@wdlfbio Yes I know, it was only a joke, I am also in western washington. I followed your build thread on BD after seeing slapshot in person on accident in westport. Both vessels are very cool.

@@nhlpat1 hahaha. That makes sense. SlapShot is an awesome boat. Learned a ton from helping design her. Not a boat one should decline an invite on! Feral and SlapShot are now moored across from each other :)
