- On this episode I head out on Billy Freeman's brand new 2021 47' Freeman! I show you around the boat a little and then we head offshore to do some deep dropping. We swordfished for half the day with no luck and then we went to bottom fishing. We found a new spot and caught a few barrelfish and some rosefish. After that we head back to the dock at some high speed!

A freeman is cool and I like cats but I can’t justify paying 1.6 mil for a boat with no cabin or even a head.
Much less than that and a head is an option
If you have the more money than time and like to fish, this boat allows more days that you’re able to go fishing. You could fish 3-5 foot seas in this thing and it would feel like 2 footers in my 30 foot moon-Hull.

That gaff is totally wrong, man. the first problem, too short. if you are in a 12 feet boat, that would be ok, because a 12 feet boat usually is 1~2 feet above sea level. this aircraft carrier is? 4 feet i guess above sea level. if the sea is rough, man over board is not a joke.
Second thing is, the size of hook is too small, is it 3/8 inch dia steel? too thick for that hook size. with 3/8 dia steel, the reasonable hook width should be 6 inch (may be more)
The third problem is, is it a metal rod? looks like it didn't provide any elasticity, traditional way somtimes are right, a 1 inch dia wood or bamboo rod will float and provide elasticity, metal don't.
That barrel fish was deem to be dead on it's faith, if that's some fish pull up without depressureize, it is gone for sure.
Gorgeous boat no doubt, hope one day I’m in the market for something in its price range. What I can’t get over about these huge, fast center consoles is that my wife wouldn’t be able to go to the bathroom on something that costs me $1mil+. I mean for that money turning down a boat with a stateroom and shower seems way too much to pass up. That’s just me, still an amazing boat

I agree , they had plenty of room up front to put a nice big cabin and head and shower and mini kitchen and dinette, yet this boat cost a fortune and you have to pee in a bottle ? It's a totally hard core fishing machine with no comforts , what a waste of all that space, check out Boston Whalers line of big outrages with beautiful huge cabins and berths and head showers
They are very well designed center consoles that off nice comfortable cabins
@@stephenpersic9474 take a monohull in 8ft seas and compare it to a catamaran in 8ft seas and there will be a big difference

You will not find a more fuel efficient 47' boat in terms of miles per gall... maybe a sailboat but that's about it.
How does the bathroom setup work? Is it just a bucket with a seat or in it incorporated into the boat
