This engine in a polo GT will be a blast 😌
The torque band of these TSI engines are wide, that's the reason why these engines feel soo much powerful. I own a polo 1.2 TSI, its been 5 years but always puts a smile on my face.

Best ever review. Front parking sensors are a real miss. Icing on the cake would have been ADAS. It would have justified the price. On highways i have got 22 kmpl but in bumper to bumper traffic the mileage drops to single digit.

I love VIRTUS GT compared to SLAVIA but my biggest complaint is the interior of the GT VERSION…
They have only made sear upholstery BLACK and rest other things like Door Pads, Roof Liners etc are still beige which is highly disappointing 👎🏻
The GT version should be dedicated towards whole black atleast Glove Box + Door Pads if not roof liners…
Exactly the only reason im inclining towards new seltos or even creta, because for 20+ lkhs we need to hve decent interiors

I’m getting the Virtus gt and it’s really disappointing that it has beige interiors, I’ll get them black if possible but they should’ve given the black interiors, also I’m planning to get 17” lenso alloys for this.

Both are German engineering there could be +-1 in both cars but dynamic is overall good in virtus

@Aayush Should I buy 1.5 manual or 1.0 lt manual ? How different are the two engines on highway and on hills? I know 1.5 manual is not yet launched in market. But if you have driven slavia 1.5 manual and 1.0 ltr manual one. Can you tell the difference
We have a Virtus Gt 1.5 DSG but i can tell you my experience and i have Test driven both engines in manual transmission (Virtus 1.0 manual and Slavia 1.5 Manual)
The 1.0 Tsi engine is more than enough for most people’s requirements as it has good power for city, hills and Highway and good mileage if driven smoothly and not accelerate hard every time as it provokes you to push hard for the thrill. It is quite smooth and refined compared to other 3 cylinder engines in the Market.
1.5 Tsi Evo engine is 1.75x times better, in terms of refinement, Torque, Speed and the rest mentioned for the 1.0 engine above. This engine is more specific for the enthusiasts but that doesn’t it isn’t good for your Family. This has dual personality, one is when you are with family and the other is when you are alone, if you know what am saying 😂😂.
I believe VW India is now offering Virtus GT in manual transmission too, you can confirm that from your nearest dealership.
I would conclude by saying that, no matter what variant or engine you choose, i can assure you won’t regret getting this Car.

Is virtus 1.0 automatic slow and noisy?
Its slightly noisy at very low speeds and a bit slower, but i would say its a great car doesn't matter its 1.0 automatic or 1.5 DSG
