I don't think it will happen. While I would love it, Honda just isn't thinking about performance anymore. Their lineup of sport-oriented vehicles is far more sparse today than before the '08 recession. The sport models of the last 5 years are also far less inspired than their 20-year-old predecessors, in my opinion. The recent NSX and current Civic Si prove this. lEven if they did make a new S2000, it would likely feature the boring, turbocharged K20C1. While turbos are a great way to make more power, they don't offer the sound, engagement, or dynamics of a naturally aspirated engine, a crucial characteristic of a true pure sports car, which the S2000 always should be. I believe Honda has realized this and elected to suspend any future S2000 plans. There simply isn't a place for the S2000 formula in the modern market, or at least one easy enough for an engineer to pitch to a board of directors.

this rumor has been circulating for at least 3 years, and no real evidence yet. Nissan got off their butt and built a new Z car in far less time. I am amazed that Honda is involved in Indy Racing, and yet they have no car to represent the Racing Division of their company. If you cannot built a sports car or it takes you this long, do you really have the technology? Other companies could have built the car, while you debate it. If the car is done right, you will sell plenty and there is a demand, so look like a major company and build it. As it is, you look afraid to spend money.

I also have these, did you notice the trunk lights are significantly brighter ? They are supposed to be dim lit at all times. Only the brake lights are supposed to get bright when the brake is applied.

I have my 1995 4th gen prelude in my garage and that thang runs good. 😤. Ev was a disappointment, it's nice they thought about bringing it back.

I modded the same car to death. Rims, Intake, Muffler, coilovers, Front, side and rear lip, spoiler and the car looks so much different than any other 7th Gen Hondas.

Not the prelude we wish for. They should at least put that 2.0 turbo motor in there as an option. Ev or hybrid ain't it for a prelude!

Bought these same ones. All it did was create a path for water to get straight into the intake .

Have both but the fl5 is a up grade like the wheels but the display and ride adjustment features with better steering because the car is longer and wider you can’t do any after market fixes for that but I still love my fk8 but my just a girl what do I know lol

why not use an aftermarket brand, honda 1 was faulty

Mine runs for about 100 miles with the battery light on, then goes limp (cel ans no signal to ecu). All i have ro do it turn thr car off then on. I wanna do a little diy but this looks way too tedious.
