I had a sprinkler zone that would not go off even if the system was turned off. If the system had water pressure that zone would run continuously. It would even run while other zones were running. I could not locate the valve for that zone. I think it got buried under sod when the yard was re-sodded. So, I turned off the water pressure at the screw on the top of each sprinkler head on that zone. The sprinkler heads stayed popped up but not running. After a few minutes all heads went down. The zone (and valve) works correctly again. My theory is that by closing water flow at the sprinkler heads may have built up just enough pressure in the zone to clear the sand or rocks that may have got into the valve and were interfering with the diaphragm. This is worth a try and requires no digging.
Can you be buried underneath the ground can and it is can you have one that's a white top to it that's rounded cuz I can't find anything that you're showing and I got two sprinkler systems we kept one off and the other you know two more are leaking and we believe it's leaking underneath the house too
