whats the difference between flatfooting and clogging? i think clogging puts more emphasis on the higher lifting and downstroke

I have tremendous respect for Irish step dancers and it sure is not the same as Irish step dancing but just in case you don’t know; this is pure mountain dancing, derived from the Scots Irish who settled in the Appalachian Mountains long ago. The upper body movements (which cannot be seen in this video) are not restricted by staying stiff and without movement but moves in the glorious rhythms of the music and is pure 100% American genre. By the way, your grammar and writing really needs work.

+ jeff Sagerman Hi jeff here's some flatfooting from galway ireland , i've checked the internet for scots irish dancing in northern ireland can't seem to find anything wonder if yiou might point in the right direction , i believe native irish had a huge influence on most of the dancing in southern states of america enjoy ua-cam.com/video/s9rJ2na9Umg/v-deo.html regards john . pss excuse the grammer i'm the first to admit i'm not the worlds greatest academic LOL
