I happen to look up around the 3:00 mark to realize that I had the same exact look on my face as the lady in the blue shirt!! I love this and am so very proud of our culture👏👏💕💕
I remember when I was about 3 or 4, my Mum showed me this video ONCE! and everyday afterwards I wanted to watch it, not sure why honestly but I remember I always wanted a red dress like the First Ladies
Those Whitetop musicians and dancers are the best, and you can tell it's fun by watching them. I hope to see them in person this coming summer.. Thanks for a great video!
My mama and grandma are from Floyd County, Virginia. Next door to the once the wettest prohibition county in the country, Franklin county, and those shine cookin Bondurant boys.
That's pretty damn backwoods but I'll pay to see it again, some southern cultural antics are bedded deep and the significance of its meaning are soon lost forever. I love seeing....country.
I love the white race, this takes my breath away,, thank you so much,, I really needed to see how happy we make each other,,, watching the news bums me out
Amen to that! Used to be 8 bucks a gallon in Twin City Georgia. I think it's gone up now! We normally get ours in West North Carolina. Got to love them country gals, they tend to know how to keep a man in line.
@Earths Flat Myles David Good job outing yourself as a virgin. No one mentioned pregnant women drinking, just drunk women getting pregnant. Also curious what your doing for the white race outside of complainin.. do you even have a family? Sort your life bus
@Earths Flat Myles David -Apparently the majority of which you speak follows the demographics {per capita} of urban concentrations, far more closely than rural lifestyles. That, of course, is when you check stats. As Joe Biden admitted on camera, wisdom gained from years in His political circle, "There are Truths, then there are Facts" ;
Martha! Love your dancing! I dance on mountain tops! Wish I could see and hear you dance and sing in person sometime! Steve Thaw, Moraga, California (photo taken on summit of Yosemite's Tissiack (Half Dome).
That's Buck dancing my granny McClellan would buck dance she was so cute. Which is similar to flat foot and along with clogging came from the same place.
Flat foot came from native Americans and hillbillies, buck dancing from African slaves( and banjo), and clogging from Irish and some Scottish and German influence as well. You mix African, Irish, Native American, and European cultures and you get a unique culture. That's why America is so great. Or used to be. I think we should let more immigrants come here like it used to be. We could use some more culture, our pallet is lacking.
Wow. So much energy from the first girl ! But she's still a young'un. AND she plays bass ?! Gotta love a multi-tasker. If she can cook too I have a son lookin' for a wife ! Thanks.
What instrument does she NOT play! A stand up base? So far I've seen her play a banjo, a fiddle, and the bass at an amazing level. Amazing woman .. amazing family. Good show, mate! Good show!

What part of the south are you from Charlie? I also had a memaw.
