And is so out of regs it would kill a First Sergeant

One time I heard my grandma on the phone going, "How dare you try to scam an old lady you should be ashamed of yourself," and hung up. I was so proud.
What a coincidence i just called an old lady and she hung up on me I'm just joking don't mrder me. xD
absolutely beautiful, what a queen

Omg hi fellow MY !
UA-camrs intentionally blurring their feet is a gag I will never get tired of.
I'm scared that it's not even a joke. I'm glad someone else noted the strangeness of it.
Act right, people! Don't be creepy!
I came here to say the same thing! glad someone else found it hilarious!
@drewgoin8849 def not a joke, feet mofos are messed in the head
You don't want an orde of people opening subreddits and forums entirely dedicated to your feet only to read horny postings detailing exactly what was done with those pictures? Don't show your feet, it's that easy. /s
Oh, I assumed there was a logo or something she was trying not to promote, like rap videos on MTV.
But whenever there's something I don't understand, I should always just assume it's a sex thing.
The "navy boyfriend" video was hilarious because:
- that sonogram machine was a thermometer
- they would have been married already if it was an actual military couple, ain't no one passing up that free health-care, especially pregnant.
- the too big cover/hat
- the unbuttoned Marine Corps dress uniform for the Navy boyfriend
also that he hasn't seen her in 3 years... which means the baby isn't his lol
Don't forget his "unemployed older brother" facial hair lol
The giant hat is so funny XDDD
I’m so glad everyone noticed the marine dress blues I was facepalming hard
man's got blood strips as a PFC lmao
I tried reporting a post on FB that asked for people's social security numbers by saying, "If you had as much money as your social security number, how much would you have?" Three people had commented their full socials. FB 'found no issue' with it. It's a shitshow over there.
Well, now you know how to make money on facebook legally in their opinion
Zucc doesn't care he's too busy in the metaverse.
There are people out there valiantly trying to stop folks from doing that. I still get a lot of "your friend commented on this post" stuff where the post is basically just asking for security question answers.
That's lowkey a pretty smart way to ask lmao. It sucks people fell for it tho.
WTF that's insane
Love that they got a Marine uniform for the "Navy boyfriend".
With a beard lol
@@uglarinn2715 And the hat doesn't fit at all.
And its out of regulation

I use Facebook to keep in touch with my older relatives and at least once a month they respond to posts saying "I bet everyone's first pet's name was spike! Prove me wrong 😂😂🤯🤯" and then they get hacked.
Lol same my grandma has been hacked at least 5 different times
I’m so glad Temu decided to bring FarmVille back to life. The modern internet was really missing the ‘Spam all your contacts to grow virtual crops’ that was so prevalent in the early 2000’s
I thought it was going to be the scam I saw where you had to join Temu to get special download codes for the newer Pokemon games. Thats not how Pokemon distributes those codes. They just post them on social media.
I think you mean late 2000’s? 😅
I still get Facebook "memories" of Farmville posts. I don't exactly need to be reminded of those days.
@@JamesLawner Yeah I played in 2008 b/c my neighbor friend got me into it. I was pregnant and stuck at home so figured why not haha I'm embarrassed to admit I spent real money on that game sometimes... ahh good times.
Temu still sucks
I've had 3 separate times where people impersonated a facebook friend - which is part of a scam - and 2 of those times the friend was dead, and when I reported the account facebook is like "since this is about your friend, we'll follow up with them!" like okay I hope your ouija board is ready.
Happened to my dead mother's FB. When she died, I tried to lock her account but FB wanted copies of legal documents I didn't have atm. It got reported a lot so her account got deleted. They've made it a lot easier now to lock accounts as memorials
This happened with my Grandma’s account… she sent a message to my brother, “Hello! How are you?” And my brother sent back, “You know you died six months ago, right?” He was left on read 😂
@@magdawind13😂😂😂
@magdawind13 ahhh this happened to my grandmother's account too. They ended up changing the picture and name after that

I love this video, because if it was true, the uniform paints an amazing story.
The story of a guy whose been in the marines for at least 3 years (probably 4 or 5) and told everyone he was in the Navy instead. During this time, he either never promoted past, or was busted down to E2 (you automatically promote to E3 after just *existing* for 18 months), indicating that he is almost comically terrible at his job. This man was "deployed", and hasn't seen his girlfriend for 3 years, and upon hearing she's pregnant, just assumes its his. After all this, he still thinks his career is illustrious enough for him to show up in his dress uniform, and propose during the ultrasound as if he's a war hero.
This made the video so much better
It's even funnier if you factor in the fact that the ultrasound wand is a thermometer. So, she is trying to baby trap him (probably for the Tricare), and realized that he is dumb enough that she doesn't even have to actually be pregnant to do it. And because this guy is dumber than Forrest Gump, it somehow works.
With the amount red flags on how he's wearing his uniform alone should tell you it's fake.
I'm so glad I caught this comment before that part of the video
They don't want to talk over the phone. They want your phone number for identity theft.
Your comment about scammers targeting religious folk is 100% correct. The whole "Lubbock, Texas" thing is also linked because, and I don't mean to offend anyone, but if you are a scammer and you are targeting America, your easiest targets are white, conservative Christians (especially elderly white conservative christians). The reasons why are... are kind of mean to put to words. But to put it bluntly, it's their gullibility. A combination of the less-than-stellar public education system in conservative areas, religious guilt, and preying on their sense of morality.
I can confirm that in my time working with the elderly, the one's who got scammed the most were the older, christian women. Add in the mental decline with age, and they just aren't equipped to handle the sheer amount of scammers targeting them.
you should've been more offensive in this comment

That ultrasound wand is actually a thermometer. I literally use them at work. They didn't even look up what the wand even looks like. Watching him rub that thing over her stomach SENT ME
Its not even her stomach, it looks like a fake silicone pregnant belly, it doesnt match her skin tone 😭
@@valen9941 I was tok busy cackling over the wand I didn't even notice that. I'm crying.

I’m surprised no one noticed the fake belly…thought it was just me for a moment…😅
yeah as someone who gets a yearly ultrasound of my heart i clocked it immediately its really the lowest effort lol
4:56 I think I know what’s going on in that one clipped video. He is making some kind of wine or alcohol. He puts the boots in the wok to sanitize them so he can use them to crush whatever fruit he had there. Then he takes that fruit pulp and places stones on top to squeeze the juice out of them. Then he assembles those clay vessels into what looks like a distillery which is used to separate alcohol from a liquid mixture by its boiling point. Granted it doesn’t show him ever fermenting the juice, but that’s my best guess.
Got a cousin who makes wine. Looks like it

Somewhere in the multiverse, Myspace is overrun by Boomers, Karens, and ScamBots 😬
Alas, poor Friendster, we hardly knew ye…
Not just FB, social media as a whole...
Servers have never been cheaper if you want your own all to yourself, but you'll have to learn a lot.
@@thewhitefalcon8539 - Strictly speaking, a “server” is mostly a regular computer, but configured in a particular way so as to most optimally run server software without doing much else. And you can run server software on a regular desktop - or even a laptop - and so long as it remains small scale you’ll be fine. Technically most home ISP’s ban you from running server software and hosting sites over your home connection, but most won’t enforce that so long as you, again, operate at a small scale. So no one really needs to buy a server to run a small social media network … any computer will do.
And in truth, you really needn’t host the site yourself. It’d even be kinda silly to. Wordpress has many perfectly adequate plug-ins which allow you to turn your Wordpress site into a small social media network. The key word here again is “small.” And your Wordpress site can be hosted anywhere, for not much more than $80 a year usually, including domain name registration.
So if all you want to do is run a social network for your apartment building, or for a small community, or for a hobby or special interest group, just download the free Wordpress software and throw it up on Dreamhost for $80-something a year and then install a social media plugin and you’ll be fine.

To me the worst part about facebook is that you never ever see anything a friend posts, and if you do it was from something multiple days ago, even if you used the app then you would never see the post. Instead they shove "suggested" groups and posts on your feed filled with complete garbage. The entire app is basically unusable, and if it wasn't for the events and friends I message on there I would have gotten rid of the entire thing years ago.
I see stuff that like 3 friends post, but never anything from the other 63 living friends on there. And for the pages I follow, it'll show me the same post 7 times a day for a week but not the other 30 posts from that page. So annoying!
Same with insta, its useless except for stories.
Absolutely same!! I’ve recently started only opening and checking the app if I have a notification, the feed itself is garbage

The same six friends, constantly, interspersed with pages FB keeps trying to make me enjoy

Yes. I don't see anything from anyone I actually follow unless i specifically search for it, no matter how many times i just their settings like "see first" and "see more like this" i will never see it lol. They were showing me those videos with the navy/marine actor guy the other day 😂 or the ones where a white woman dumps 15 ingredients on her counter and smears it around calling it cooking.

My granny's facebook page has been overtaken with thousands of fake male celebrities that interact with their "fans" and flirt with lonely old people to try and scam them out of stuff. I block and report tons of them every week but they just keep coming back
At this point it's just a scary place you don't want your grandma to be unless you can get into her account and block/lock it so she can only communicate with friends and family.
Yesss.
I have a blank profile to keep up with school functions, local road condition pages, and family on there, and I’ll occasionally check in on my aunties and uncles that are adamant on using it. It is the most depressing thing to see when it comes to social media. What was once a pretty cool exclusive platform to interact with other college kids and adults that opened up to the general public and then it became advertiser central full of scams and spam over the years full of boomers.
My family members will have thousands and thousands of “followers” that will _totally_ interact with them for really real and totally not bot-like whenever they post updates or photos of family and friends. Got to where I had outright request them to never post photos of my child as I don’t know who is seeing them since I don’t even post him online.
They’re also real bad to click random Facebook links that will then post to their profile that says “do not accept a friend request from me, I’ve been hacked!!” with EVERY SINGLE 30+ REPLY being about getting in touch with random Facebook accounts that are linked to people who can supposedly “unlock” and “unhack” their profile …. for a fee, of course, usually with fake replies spiraling into being about BTC.
Doesn’t matter how many times I message them and tell them to please stop clicking random stuff or adding people they don’t know, they don’t listen. They’re gullible and think because the spammers/scammers have followed their other friends and family members, that the amount of friends they have in common somehow means they totally know them.
Countless moments I’ve even gone out of my way to try and report these individual accounts to only be told they’re not breaking any guidelines and can be left up to scam thousands of people in a few months’ time.
It’s the one social media site where the elderly and boomers congregate more than any other, and it’s the one site where so many scams and spam continues to be extremely prevalent due to their gullibility… and of course, nothing will ever be done as it’s more lucrative as a company to have these poor interactions and scams going for advert revenue. It’s honestly sad.
@@OhiChickenbut then the vulnerable old friends and family get their accounts hacked, and even private messages from those "trusted" people become a danger.

Facebook mom groups often have insane moms that refuse to go to the doctor/hospital with the child and want to use natural remedies like oils, and in cases let their child really suffer because of that sadly
I literary had a Facebook single dad come after me and my videos calling me that i pretend to be famous, i don't even know who he was 💀But imagine goin on strangers peoples Fb's and YT without knowing them, just to insult them lol.
My hatred of MLMs started from this exact situation. When I had my son, I lived in a bit of a crunchy granola place, and the people in the local Facebook mom groups would CONSTANTLY try to encourage new moms especially to use essential oils instead to treat their babies. They also just happened to sell them, so you know, super convenient!
After having a severe anxiety attack from being told that I was literally k1lling my son by giving him baby ibuprofen for his teething, I talked to a nurse who put some sense back into me. I started researching essential oil safety and realised they were actually encouraging really dangerous usage around babies and small children (on top of the medical misinformation). Thieves oil alone contains oils that aren't safe for babies' respiratory systems, yet they're telling moms to diffuse it in babies' bedrooms. I started seeing the MLM nonsense for what it really was and noticed their tactics, and the bullying they'd do. They'd make moms feel so bad about themselves and question everything, all just to make a sale. I did try to be as vocal as possible, but it's hard to get heard when so many of them are doing it and supporting each other. I eventually accepted that I wasn't going to be making mom friends in that small town - any time people added me or showed interest, it turned out they just wanted to sell something. It was everywhere. Even my therapist had Doterra oils in her office (that she didn't try to sell me, thankfully, but still. I could never escape them)
It was a really depressing, lonely, and anxious time in my life and it makes me livid to think about how many people and babies they've likely harmed due to their bullying and misinformation.
Don't forget about the horrors of Black Salve! That's still going crazy over there too if you know where to find it. @@marianasalescruz caaara tem bastante gente até que usa facebook ainda, não entra na minha cacholakkkkjkk mas usam, é tipo snapchat
Thanks Gabi, informative and funny as usual!
The choice of Rude Buster as the game music for the Temu game was inspired, I loved it. Thank you.
The navy one pissed me off. Not only is it obviously staged, but the dudes uniform doesn't fit. Not just the hat, the whole uniform. It's a combination of failure and stolen valor. It makes me stabby
not to mention the ultrasound device is just a digital thermometer
@@gabbysian2530 not to mention it says hes been gone for 3 years but its his baby???
3:41 actually impressed by your portuguese pronounciation, that was pretty on point
o "merda" foi perfeito
@@sharkcuddles-bq2jli feel creepy for even knowing that, but I'm p sure that's the case lol
Every time Brasil is mentioned gabi gets happy so I think she is lol
@@willaroberts134she made a video about her mother sending her Brazilian prayer and good morning videos so it's not creepy, just means you watch her videos
Ela virou carioca do nada
These clips were nearly impossible to get through. Well done.
Back to back trending list. You killing it gurl!
Hi, 22 year old regular facebook user here...
I use facebook for the animal care community. It was how I met alot of local reptile keepers and learned alot. I'm a vet tech now so I'm also in a lot of vet med groups
tbh some fb groups are reaaly good and a great way to connect with people closer to you. In my country is the most used social media platform so sadly it's where most good groups are :(
Im in my early 20s and use it to relive childhood memories lol
Man Facebook is having the worst identity crisis I think I’ve ever seen a website have. I miss when it was a convenient place to connect with IRL friends and family online.
MySpace and nexopia had it pretty bad near the end of their reigns
Nexopia and MySpace had that similar issue in it's final stages of anyone caring
You crack me up and cheer me up. I'm glad I found your channel!
gabi censoring her feet in the bit where she's on the floor reading off minion memes is both understandable and yet still comedic at the same time
facebook marketplace gets you either the best deals or the worst deals of your life
I love how in the "Navy boyfriend surprises pregnant girlfriend" he says he's been overseas for 3 years and hasn't seen her which means it's not his baby!
Oh it is, she's just been crossing her legs for three years. XD
I like how his hat and uniform don't fit.
And it’s a marine dress uniform 😂
Gabi playing the owl’s theme from Oot while getting on her soapbox is so perfect lol
“Navy boyfriend” in a marine corps uniform without the EGA. Man what great continuity
1:40 she was never going to pay full price. Many buyers strong arm sellers by offering less money at the last second, sometimes claiming they couldn't bring enough money. They assume you'll agree to less money than walk away with nothing. That's why I tell people "if you bring less money than the agreed amount, I will walk away." And you've gotta mean it.
Never been so fast
Me neither
same lol I was like wait why does this video only have like 10 comments
that's what he said
legit
Get a life
You’re hilarious!
And a talented musician.
I’m happy I stumbled upon your channel!
about the "why do you want to call me, just text ugh" thingy. i get a way better read of people if i can hear their voice and then know if it's going to lead to getting scammed, added to a crime statistic, or if the item is really quality with successive follow-up questions than texting and forgetting about the text with my adhd/them forgetting or finding another buyer
The proposal video is so psycho on so many levels. It’s crazy that everyone involved thought it was a good idea or was remotely plausible. Like, she’s only the other side of the pool while they supposedly set everything up? And he’s clearly visible from all angles, let alone when she’s looking directly at him?!
They’re either super dumb, or cynical geniuses who are savvy that most people on Facebook won’t question these things
Cynical. I wonder how much they make tho
Its to appeal to children and boomere with no ability to discern reality then to get people like you to comment this lol
It literally makes me want to throw up.
Its both. Theyre dumb, but theyre not that dumb. Theyre certainly smarter than their peers, and they know this, and they gain from it.
You can see it in his shit eating grin lmao.
The people who fall for it share it and love it, the people who hate it share it and hate it, and they make money.
Reporting ANYTHING on Facebook goes nowhere
Unless you report it as kiddy stuff, then it goes nowhere faster.
Yeeeeep cause facebook sent their moderation overseas and basically just rely on a very flawed bot.
Subscribed. Good content to play while cooking. Thanks!
The one wing eyeliner is making me anxious
I'm living for the people saying that people want to call on marketplace to make sure you're not a scam as if getting your phone number isn't for its own scam.
Anyway once on facebook video thingy I got a video that was basically like decorating a cake like you'd make a pour painting, and I wish I'd realized at the beginning that the video was *30 minutes long*. Lady puts icing in a tube that's open on both ends, puts sprinkles in it, says "okay so we're gonna release it and it's gonna look so good", puts more icing and sprinkles in the tube, says she's gonna release in 5 seconds and it's gonna look cool. 20 seconds later she puts more icing in the tube. I fastforwarded and at 10 minutes she was still saying she was gonna release the icing in 5 seconds. Again, the video was like 30 minutes long.
I have also seen this on Facebook/snapchat and this whole genre of stalling is even more infuriating than the fake boyfriend surprise videos
The calling on Facebook marketplace is kinda like an unwritten agreement that both of you aren’t fake people. Happens more when buying a vehicle, but still less often for smaller items.
I’ve only been asked to call by scammers. I will say i haven’t sold a car but when i posted my engagement ring (trauma) a bunch of scammers said call me and provided a whats app number
Also with concert tickets to exchange without meeting.
Happens on CL. Cause marketplace wont allow the sale for that
I had seen you in a few videos with Andy King and went over to your profile to find such gold! your content is so fun and I'm so glad I was able to find another commentary youtuber to add to my already huge subscription pile lol
Also unrelated, butI have the same kirby blanket and pikachu plush haha
8:07 the other guy is the best he's just chilling in the back and eating the fruit
that temu farming game is one of the most dystopian things i’ve seen in terms of overconsumption holy shit
3:43 That means "go in the shadow, shit in the sun dries." ("Vai pela sombra" is used to say "take care")
9:13 he's been gone for 3 years 😂😂😂
that "Vai pela sombra, merda no sol seca!" jumpscared me halfway to a heart attack holy Annakin Skywalker!
just absolutely rebooted my brain. It's really weird to listen to something in portuguese when you're expecting english....
9:09 Okay wait... I know this is fake but how is she pregnant, but he's been gone for 3 years?? Did they not think about that plot point hard enough
Edit: Lmao you said that. I didn't get far enough
Love that they used an infrared thermometer for the ultrasound at 8:23
I about screamed when you brought up Frogspotting, I’m in that group 🤣😭🤣
I recently started using Facebook again as I’ve got a relatively uncommon chronic illness and it’s a good way to connect with other people with the same diagnosis, which is really great, but does mean I have to deal with .. all of this
@15:16 the upwards inflection at the end of every sentence makes me foam at the mouth.
gabi thank you so much to read a meme in Brazilian Portuguese u the best
also I'm loving seeing your channel getting bigger omg BACK ON MY TIME IT WAS ALL GRASS AROUND HERE
(not abt facebook MP specifically, but just the buy and sell community from where i am in general)
usually when a scam happens cus sellers default to “payment first” policy, some “customers” that think theyre wisecracks always have the same comeback wherein the say “please let me pay via cash on delivery, i got scammed before so i dont wanna pay upfront” like, honey, i wish it worked that way lmao
If they're making money while falsely claiming to be a Service Member, that by definition is Stolen Valor.
I don’t think that’s a crime.. but it is in extremely poor taste.
@@JimAllen-Persona they’re falsely claiming to be prior service with the sole intent of making money from UA-cam videos, that is illegal
FYI: That man was making some kind of alcohol in that video that you didn't know what was going on. He was checking the alcohol content when he lit it on fire at the end.
3:41 I'm brazilian and I'm impressed with how perfect your portuguese pronunciation was here fr
I love watching videos about Facebook as someone who hardly uses any other social media sites. You just get used to all the weird stuff eventually
That’s not a navy uniform, that’s a Marine Corps uniform. He is also out of regulation with the beard, and that’s called stolen valor. We love faking military service for likes
