Hey Kale, just wanted to drop a comment because I watched this video yesterday and then went out for a surf. I've been surfing for 4+ years but hadn't focused on my upper body / arm movement before. It was a complete game-changer!! I generated way more speed and way more radical turns than I've ever done before. It felt amazing.
    Thank you!

I gotta say, I obsoletely love your videos, they are super engaging, easy to watch, and they have been huge for my surfing progression! Best part is you can easily communicate high level education via surfing and training to simple words, seriously love your channel.

The surf skating really helps. Perfect waves every time, you can repeat over and over and over and it's easy to video yourself so you can analyse how you look and what you're doing. Not as fun as the ocean though!!!

Her back foot feels super heavy, do you think that's why she's having to use her arms for balance so much?
Also, loved "whippy and wind-screen wiper-y"

Her surf board is too small for her and those waves. She doesn't have e enough balance and so she has to poo stance and helicopter arm that wave.

Hey, could you please do a video on what board is best for different types of conditions, and how to know what the waves are like on that day? I live near a beach break so it is hard for me to know what board to use since the waves are different almost everyday. Thanks :)

Once you work out your first backhand hack you'll go from not liking backhand waves to only wanting backhand waves 😂

I think his issue is that his stance is way too narrow and his back foot is not back enough on his board. That’s what is causing his shoulders hit it be able to “open up” more and he is stuck in a shrugging position

Why do surfers drag a hand in the water? I'm guessing it's to cause drag on one side of the board thereby giving you assistance in turning. Is this correct?

Nice! indeed I do have the problem to have my arms to much open, instead of having the arm directly pointing right over the board stringer. What skate are you using for practice ?
