The campsite you were on is the newest one of two in Fort Augustus, the other is just outside the village as you head south. We have seen dolphins at Chanonry point but also along the southern coast of the Moray Firth where we are lucky to live. Glad you enjoyed your trip up North :-)
Happy you have enjoyed your trip around the highlands, I think that 1 week is definitely not enough to see everything, we have lived here for most of our married life and we have only scratched the surface :-)
Great video as always...Although im a self confessed Francofile i have to say that Scotland has some of the best scenery, i went up to Glencoe a few weeks a go and loved it plus it has colder weather which i love...LOL
Don't think £25 a night is overly expensive with hook up... try going to lake district at season peak then gasp at prices.. Pity we never gotfurther than oban...must have two weeks next time..
Yeah free camping is nice. i just compare it to paying for B&B no comparison.. We had a stop at lakeside keswick and being members it was still £34 pounds..owch.. then a Dutch couple came non members..£45.. i think that isa piss take to be honest.. mind you off season same site is £24 a night..
Excellent time lapse at the end. Really enjoy your RV trip videos.

We loved it. Need to go back and redo our favourite bits more slowly. Do you travel in a motorhome?
Yes we do, we have our own UA-cam channel called Desmond Donders, I think you talk to David :-)
Lindsay is the other half of Desmond's Donders. Or is that 1/3 Me, Lindsay and Desmond (the MH)

Yeah £25 is probably average. At the time I think it felt expensive because we had done so much free camping
