that ball had no choice other than to thrust it self through the uprights because it knew pat would talk about it
🤣🤣🤣
“Probably 14-15 beers the night before at a local bar.”
Love hearing Pats story on the college pub in Whiewater. Random that UWW had a kicking camp.
They have this camp every single summer. All of the NFL kickers/punters/snappers stay in one of the newer dorms, and all of the college specialists stay in one of the older dorms. I've seen Thomas Morestead and a couple of other NFL players while working on campus, but nobody I worked with knew that any of those people we walked past or briefly talked to were NFL players because none of them pay attention to any of the special teams players in the NFL.
Finally, I’ve found someone who’s equally non-flexible.
flexibility is one of the most slept on attributes in sports. i never played football, but in baseball, all the mfs who could throw the hardest could bend their arm in a way that rivals cirque du soleil performers it was honestly pretty impressive
Exactly what I was going to say. I always got the same reaction in gym when they'd test everyone and I was always the one they'd look at funny like I wasn't trying. No, I just can't touch my fing toes!
same, I felt that when he told the toe-touch story. I think it is a gene, my dad has a similar problem
@jlanderson42 I have done track/xc over the past year never gotten hurt yet
Idk what it is but something tells me that you and NFL pro bowler Pat McAfee are not “equally non-flexible” guy lol
Pat and stretching.
AJ and mouth guards.
The Odd Couples.
Or AJ and concussions
Cincinnati and an indoor facility
Hands down THE BEST podcast right now! Football or otherwise
Woot! Whitewater! It's where my nephew goes to college right now. Wis. had something going on then. Gratz on the 75 yards.
I graduated there, great business school and powerhouse D3 sports school. Won Baseball, football, and basket D3 mens championship even all in one year. Consistent success.
Didn't think I'd see Whitewater on Pat McAfee.
Lots of NFL kickers/punters come to whitewater for camp every summer 🙂
Sebass in his younger days could probably hit from 85.
Who’s sebass?

Ohhh yeaaahhhhh
@@DomDallaire Yup, in Daytona. I was visiting my mom and read about it in the local paper. Back when people read papers.
@@Johnny-zs7ho The greatest kicker ever to strap on a helmet.
Kicking to me is like magic. When I was a kid I could kick a football maybe 15 yards and in some random direction. These kickers are great athletes.
me too and I have a pretty good leg for my size - I can punt pretty decent and kick a soccer ball but I can't kick a field goal to save my life lol.
Pat macfee is the number 1 podcaster!
H3H3 and tigerbelly sir
@@WillToNihilsm L
Not a bad take. I rotate him, Rogan and the JBPC depends on what I'm in the mood to listen to.
Jockos podcast and 2 bears one cave all solid
@@St.CrimsonTweets I’m almost the same. I rotate pat, rogan, and I listen to dale jrs podcast. But I feel it’s prolly not as common for people who aren’t into nascar.
That rubberband comparison had me dying lmao. Thanks Pat and the Team
I'd pat would've made that 64 in that game that would've been insane!
Was on the track team in college for a few years and at physicals the trainers were always shocked by how little flexibility we had
i always told my coach that I used the tightness in my calf and achelies tendon to store energy on the down step and it would "uncoil" right as i needed it to on the push off. I don't think I actually did, but it felt like I would just lock my calf in place and run distance 1 mile - 5ks. 800m and under i just used the full calf. i think a lot of distance runners are pretty inflexable
Good old UW-Whitewater.
I remeber watching these guys as a kid growing up in whitewater best time of the year when kohls camp came around
The V-Sit!!!!! Always held me back too.
Pat MCAFEE is golden!!
I played hockey my entire teens and twenties and I had a wicked shot but I'm super tight so I'm with you Mac.
Pat *14 or 15 cold ones* Mcafee
The V-sit and Reach was my mortal enemy. -6 was my absolute best.
The Guinness world record is 78 yards kicked by a guy back in the 1940s barefooted
Whitewater In East Troy Wi. Awesome
Best Sports Show!!
7 straight years of the presidential fitness award/patch, I guess I peaked too early though Pat ha ha
UWW!! Dang I graduated the year before. Whitewater is a great college town!
Pat's a funny ass dude haha
When you’re currently at UW-Whitewater watching this 👁 👄 👁
Former UWW alum here. I was at the College Pub that night when Pat was taking down those 14-15 beers. He forgot the 5-10 shots he also did.
Do you know who likes stretching a lot? The greatest QB of all time.
Any member of the Gracie family, of course!
UW-Whitewater alum checking in.
'08 you?
Whitewater! My alma mater!
Lol I stretch while I watch this show 😂😂
Nice video Pat! I'm currently a student at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Go Warhawks!
joey slyes gotta have one of the strongest legs in the game, he reminds me of pat. he was inches from the fg record earlier in the year
Didn’t think I would see Pat McAfee associated with whitewater
Field goal kicking is all about club head speed. - Signed by 150lb guy with chicken legs who’s hit from 60yds.
Much like Bat Speed
I wonder if Pat ever sits back and wonders how much better he woulda been if he never partied...
" we got a camera " lol
Hung over, no socks, from 75 out.
0:13 How can he make that voice lol
What was he doing in Whitewater? Lol
That's where the annual Kohl's kicking camp is held.
Whitewater Wisconsin is 15 miles from my house... I need to interview this guy
Lmao. Things that will NEVER happen for a million Alex
@Soul Extractor I’m trying to interview the guy who outkicked Pat McAfee
Pat have you ever though about playing for Mike Zimmer
pat is a goat
Will Reichard from Alabama was hitting 75 yarders in high school
Stretch when you’re high. It feels better
@Logan I’ve done the same with the chiropractor as well. Body is more relaxed and receptive to the adjustment
I was at that bar the night before and saw Pat there. Name of the bar is the College Pub, not sure if it still exists.
Static stretching is not for everybody. Running the 800 I wanted to be kinda tight cuz super limber felt sloppy.
I was the best basketball player in the school and a good football player (by my schools standards); I was like Pat; -10 sounds about right. I was measured as the least flexible person in the entire school.. 7th-12th... I’m proud of that.
I think it’s an Irish thing. I played d-1 college football and I could barely touch my knees in the sit and reach. My legs are sci fi level jacked for no reason.
Are those short shorts
Sick beat sonnn
I've never been flexible either. On the old "Presidential" tests I was always negative too. I was real small too, but just had no flexibility.
I was the opposite. I have always been a bigger guy but my flexibility is surprising. I was always one of the higher boys for that test but I’m not a great runner so my mile time always kept from ever getting the patch my school gave out.
Did you hit up The Brass Rail the night before lol?
Crazy story jamie kohl was my coach at my school this year
UWW!! Did you hit up Pumpers and Mitchells?
Im going use his flexibility argument.
Anyone ever notice that Pat and Dave Portnoir have an incredibly similar cadence?
Pat is just uncle Rico but his dream actually came true.
Too bad his record was filmed...
"I kicked a bomb 98 yards in a park in Denver. Too bad nobody filmed it".
What park was it?
The Bengals don’t have an indoor practice facility
Dude is this all you do?
@@jayschmoldt but did you know the bengals don’t have an indoor practice facility?
Only 75? Pathetic, my grandma can kick all the way from the bleachers, and she will have time to enjoy her tea before it hits the uprighs.
hahahahahahahaha😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well if it hits the uprights it usually doesn’t go through, so that’s not really impressive. Your granny needs to work on her accuracy.
@@chriswebster24 exactly
@@chriswebster24 She's built different, so it somehow goes in
@@brodown64 it goes through the uprights. I mean it literally goes THROUGH the uprights
I ate 75 yards of grass once.
Theres a sweet spot with flexibility. Too much and you lose power and become too loose (and more prone to injury). Too little and you’ll have more power but also susceptible to injury 😆 Foam rolling and dynamics seem to be the way forward. Statics lose you power and make you too loose if done too much. Happy Thursday 😂
That is crazy because I use to run a lot in high-school could even run a 4.34 and when doing that stretch I couldn't even reach the platform and would never score on it. I could flat out run and no one was catching me. But I can't touch my damn toes lol. I am not flexible at all not even a little.
Whitewater should change it's name to Whitekicker
I totally get the no flex, but having power. I was a competitive soccer player and have never been able to touch my toes!
Somebody show this to Mark Rober, his robot ray finkle didn't win
Shout-Out to the Dub!
U Dub Dub!
Yeahhhh I had to give that up
Ligament is bone to bone there Pat, Tendon is Muscle to bone. Easy way to remember is tendon and muscle have the same amount of letters.
Pat is still right. Tight and strong muscles can still stretch wear down ligaments.
@@MikeBrownLegend but he's not lol. You're right in the sense that repetition can wear down ligaments, but he specifically said "the ligaments were pullin on the muscles" and they don't do that.
How many attempts did it take?
Pat you never told us your longest FG in a game?
Only Chuck Norris kicked it from endzone to endzone.
Then Pat with 75yards
🤣
I literally just watched this
Pat try to interview EDP445
my sister went to whitewater WI
Why do they use the UWW field for their camps? My Alma mater by the way. But I think they do huge clinics there. Anyone confirm?
It's because the Kohl brothers are from Wisconsin, and UW-Whitewater provides a place for the NFL and college players to stay for about a week while training/teaching. Also the facilities are kept in excellent shape. Then the following week they go to Kettle Moraine to do a high school camp for the top specialists in the country.
Ahem heard of jankowski
Ask Sarah Fuller
Janikawski..
Did @frigginbigwig just get the best beat tag?
People wanting to be kickers like 👁👄👁
I bet your more flexible then Peyton Manning. Peyton ran like his body parts were welded together!!!
It's not hard to have power for 50 yard kicks. My highschool soccer team had multiple guys who could've hit 50 plus yards in air. That's easy ..the precision gets soo much more impressive the further pur it gets.
Why does it look like it was film in 1990s and it’s only 2011
Okay is he wearing jorts!?
Back in my day, I could kick a pigskin a quarter mile.
i kicked a 105 yarder on madden i think
Did he kick any field goals in actual games?
💯👌🏽
Sarah Fuller can hit from 80.
kek
Hi
Jorts
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
Its found that its basically impossible
K
My longest back in the day was 63 in practice
The key to kicking a long field goal?
The Bengals needing a indoor training facility
Josh Allen can throw farther than Pat Mcafee can kick
