    YAAAAAY!!
HUGE KUDOS for using this fan-made music video… They did such a great job of combining the footage of Freddie’s 1986 performance, with David Bowie’s footage from the 1992 Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert.

Sorry darling it's not fan made it's DòRo tv Rudi Dolezal, who was responsible for a lot of Queen videos. He did it some years after and apologised to Annie Lennox for removing her image from David's rendition from the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert and hoped she would understand.

@@jodawson5268 That information NEEDS to be widely-spread, then, if that’s the case, because in-all-this time (years of seeing this reacted to many-times-over) …that is the FIRST time that information has ever been provided (that I have seen, anyway).🫡

@marciebulsaraorcutt There is a video somewhere on utube explaining why he wanted to do it.I think he felt that it was a shame they never performed this song live together, in fact David never performed this song until after Freddie had passed which he did with his bassist Gail Ann Dorsey. Which is also great. There were some fan made video attempts but they weren't very good.

There is big ‘back-story’ to this song.. they (Queen and Bowie) were both recording in a studio in Germany (I think).. and went out to dinner, John Deacon came up with the baseline.. Freddie and David started talking about recording something together - this was the result. However - they never played it together at any concert - this is a blend of Queen at Wembley in ‘86 I believe, and Bowie singing it at the Freddie Tribute Concert in 1991 (he sang it with Annie Lennox). You might want to watch Bowie at the Tribute Concert.. (actually all of the performers there were amazing)!! Great reaction, thank-you!

The sound is the original recording playing over Queen at Wembley with the Bowie segments from the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert.
Their collaboration came when Bowie joined Queen in their studio while recording tracks for their Hot Space album and Under Pressure was the result.

Freddie was singing at Wembley in 86 David at Freddie tribute concert in 92 which was distributed like liva aid around the world,it was a charity concert raising money for Aids. After this The Freddie Mercury Pheionix trust was established to spread founded to spread education and support families so I'm very aids with the them

Queen: live Hyde Park sing: You Take My Breath Away, songs: Killer Queen, Spread Your Wings, My Melancholy Blues, The Millionaire’s Waltz, and the one you will LOVE is likely Freddie’s angry revenge song for Queen’s 1st manager that took most of their $ called Death On Two Legs. That song is so brilliant and stings with great angry lyrics! Every member goes nuts in that one! 😂❤

David and Queen were in the same studio recording separately, and they got together just to hang out in between some break or something, and this song just developed on the spot. Isn’t that great creativity between absolute legends to have this happenstance?? And the rest of the band had their hands in there, too. They never made the official video together for this. Not to worry…

Queen owned the studiio in Montreux, Switzerland, called Mountin StudiosDavid Bowie was there visiting and went to visit them in the studio. Freddie said lets try and write something and see what we can come up with.Deaky was playing this riff over and over again. They decided to go out for a pizza and when they got back Deaky forgot it. But Roger remembered it and that is how it became Under Presure. Vanilla ice stole the riff and Queen sued him and won...

This is an excellent fan generated mash up because unfotunately Bowie and Queen never were able to work out a time to do a live performance of this song. Both Queen and Bowie were super busy and just not in the same area to have the opportuity to do so. It would have been great I am sure. The original recording did have Bowie on it. This was 1986 Queen at Wembley and 1992 Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert also at Wembley. You really do need to check out the studio version of Queen: March Of The Black Queen. It is like the older sister of Bohemian Rhapsody.

In fact, this clip is a fan-made reissue of the official music video for Under Pressure - Rah Mix, released in 1999 as a promotional piece for the compilation album Queen Greatest Hits III, made to fit the original version of the song. The video for the remix version mixed Queen's live performances at Wembley Stadium with the group's participation alongside David Bowie in the Freddie Mercury Tribute. Among the special effects, the video makers joined Freddie and David on stage - which had not happened - and eliminated Annie Lennox, who sang along with Bowie in the tribute. I don't know how much Bowie you've listened to but he was a genius and a chameleon, and there is a lot of variety in his calalog of music. A couple great ones are Stay from the Station to Station album, and Sweet Thing. Sweet Thing actually goes with the next two songs on the album Diamond Dogs, and there's at least one video on YT with all three of them: Sweet Thing - Candidate - Sweet Thing (reprise). I highly recommend. 🖖🏽

This sounds like the studio version of the song visually synched with a live performance from Queen (Live Aid) and another by Bowie (Freddy Mercury Tribute concert). The sound recording is not live, however. I listened to this song on Queen's Greatest Hits over and over memorizing every beat, every note. It was my favorite song for about a year. I've also heard it live, though they didn't play it live together. It's very cool that someone put this together, but I just wanted people to know exactly what it is and isn't.

When they recorded this song David Bowie didn't want to be in the room or hear what Freddie recorded. And he didn't want Freddie to be hearing what he recorded. John Deacon came up with that riff. So this song was a mash up of both of them and then produced this way. If I remember correctly. It was an experiment. Queen was uncomfortable with this experiment but look what came out of it. The Foo Fighters do a great cover of this song. I always like Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby" sampling. He did take a lot of heat for it though.

The big shame of this collaboration, is that they ended on less than friendly terms. Bowie had recorded back ups for 'Cool Cat'. However, the day before the album was due to be pressed, he requested he be taken off the track. This caused big delays and expenses to Queen. Also, Roger and Brian both were unhappy with the final mix feeling it wasn't finished. You'll notice, if you watch the Freddie concert, that Bowie never acknowledges the band in any way.

"Keep Passing the Open Window". Imho a much more effective anti-suicide song than the better known "Don't Try Suicide"
"In the Lap of the Gods" which was the last song played in their performances before "Champions" They put it back in the last few performances.
"Death on two Legs" one of the original diss songs. They take no prisoners and the guy it was written about outed himself by suing.

Under Pressure, the band and Bowie especially Queens bass guitarist John Deacon were not impressed with Vanilla Ice who stole the guitar rift from the band, So Queen decided to sue Vanilla Ice but Ice settled out of court for around the sum of 4 million dollars which in today value would be over 11 million dollars,I attended Queen at Wembley Stadium in 1986 , the band sang Under Pressure which was phenomenal they never disappoint , great reaction thanks 🙏
