Hey, Ace! Could you make a siren or a harpy out of polymer clay? Would really appreciate it! ^-^ I always love to watch you make monsters. Thanks! ^-^ Edit: Wow, guys, you sure like the idea of a harpy/siren.
I have to agree...I think he would have a lot of fun putting his own thought how they should look(since there is lots of different kinds of Mermaids) I'd love to see that
You're one of the only sculptors I watch that I don't get that 'backseat driver' thing with, like I get when I watch other sculptors I'm like 'you've missed a bit' but you have such attention to detail that its actually really nice to watch you work 😊
This guy looks amazing - very original and yet nostalgic; so iconic! I've watched many other of your videos (newer and older) but this result turned out so satisfyingly cartoony and just right that I had to compliment it :)
A golem, full of moss and vines, whit the big lower jaw and all, btw your channel is slowly becoming my favorite in all youtube, not only for the clay, of not in general, love ya!
This channel and these videos have opened my mind up to a range of possibilities with polymer clay. I used to make things with coloured polymer clay and compared to this stuff it’s not that great (even though I was a young teenager) and the most advanced I got with the structure and tools was using thin metal wire to attach heads to bodies and using clingfilm to flatten clay without getting fingerprints on it for my buttons. I had NO IDEA you could use so many tools or that you could use aluminium foil to make the structure. Or that you could just bake part of it and then combine it with non baked parts to make things easier! That would’ve helped a LOT when making my figurines instead of using massive blocks of clay and constantly squishing delicate pieces. Thank you so much for this. I want to go back to it now and create so much more. So much better 😄
Hey ace! What about making a sea creature, maybe something more prehistoric? I think it would be a cool idea to include something with water surrounding it
You're a fantastic teacher. Thanks to you I feel like I finally know what to do with (and what to CALL) the stuff that I bought so I can make the first sculpture stuck in my head. Thank you!
This was a really good sculpt. Think he could use some skeleton minions now. If i had a request it would be for more fantasy stuff. I don't really have a preference, just anything fantasy. I'm sure whatever you come up with would look really good.
I love sculpting clay but it's been a while... Our media, method and style are very similar, and watching your videos has given me the kick in the pants I needed to start up again. You are an excellent artist and I enjoy watching you work!
I've never had any interest in sculpting. Never looked it up. Never thought about it. Never wanted to do it. For some reason, UA-cam recommends me this video. And now I kinda wanna buy some clay...
It's incredibly fun to work with polymer clay. It's VERY forgiving and allows you to do literally anything you can imagine. I'd recommend watching more tutorials and maybe getting some books for the basics of familiarizing yourself with the medium. Once you start, you most likely will never want to stop! It's addictive and Sculpey polymer clay isn't very expensive or difficult to work with. Good luck! 🙂
Make a wendigo, I would like to see your take on it! like if you go for the more animal version or if you make it humanoid! also, this reaper reminds me of the priest from Corps Bride. and yes its a Tim Burton movie
I wanted to make my own Santa Muerte statue using polymer clay and I'm glad I found your grim reaper video. I hope you're doing great despite this pandemic. Thank you
You do a great job in the explanation of what you do and how to do it,you are clear spoken. Such great work, thank you for the videos. Love this one as it is different.
I come back to this video often. I love this fella....If you every do a resin reproduction of him I'd love to own one. I'd spend an irresponsible amount of money to own resin versions of a few of your figures to be honest haha. I feel like him, the dapper ghost, the zombie and the graveyard keeper type from your making a creepy character video would all go well together.
So cool! I’d love to see you make some kind of mythical creature, like a centaur or some kind of fey, in whatever style you like but I think it would be an interesting make and different to what people usually do☺️ Edit: the siren or harpy idea someone else said is cool too
You should try making a werewolf at the halfway point of his transformation from human to wolf. I think that would look super cool and would be quite the challenge.
hello everyone , please visit my new youtube channel i'm an artist i made sculptures with clay and cheese wax, i need some support i have a lot of ideas , watch my videos and subscribe please 🙏😙 ua-cam.com/channels/ahbBmuCE5qcrzkvCrb0T2Q.html
I found that, when I want to bond two raw clay surfaces together it helps to score each surface with a criss-cross pattern with a knife or tool first. That seems to give the clay more "tooth" to grab a hold of and mesh together. I enjoyed watching you make this little ghoulish guy!
Can you show me how to make friends? Nah, I'm just joking. I think a skeletal dragon would be cool- or just a dragon skull. I recently got into the hobby and your a huge inspiration (your goodwill/thrift store dragon video actually is what got me into it), so thanks! Good luck on all future projectsm
Tacking on to GET SHOOKETH's comment, give your hand to making a ball jointed figure first! You're hard earned talent is honestly phenomenal, I'd love to see it in motion someday!
amazing sculpture!! one of your best works imo. would love to see more “”humanoid”” characters on your channel, especially in this tim burton-y style. something sci-fi is gon look great in that style
This video is meant to show us how to make this sculpt, not to speed through it just to show the end result. Having short videos on the Instagram would be cool though
You are so so so talented. I'm an artist and have done drawings using pencil, ink, markers, color pencil, and my favorite medium air brush but have only done a little sculpting (my older brother is much better at sculpting than me). Students in my high school did college level work because our art program was top 5 in the state. I separated my questions from the rest of my comments to make it easier to answer lol. Questions: 1. Have you ever used Pal Tiya? (Does not require firing and can be placed outside) 2. Have you ever done large to semi large/ outdoor projects? 3. Have you ever sculpted any kind of castle? Fine craft Sir. I was under the impression that you actually were creating a model for a stop-motion film akin to Nightmare Before Christmas. As a request, how about Arthur Morgan from Red Dead Redemption II wearing his legendary white Buffalo hat and shooting his bow? A lot of intricate textures and minute detail.
@drawwithjazza does a cool thing where he makes 3 or 4 polls with different characteristics in each, and uses that to create a character. Would you consider doing something like that?

Such a great idea!
Yes please.
"Who told you about fluffy?"
Thanks!!~ ^^
He turned out absolutely amazing. I love that he’s kind of cute and almost like charismatic. It adds to the creepiness.
can you make a mummy I think it would be cool to see what you do with the cloth =3
Yeah a mummy would look cool
I would love to see your take on a mermaid
oooo, yes!! I think that would be amazing!

Dragonsinheadphones although… creating a monster out of the shape of the hippocampus (brain part) would be an interesting challenge
I would actually love to see that! Ichthyocentaurs are one of my favorite mythical creatures and the hippocampus is really close.

Great video! Maybe Sculpt a gargoyle? They’re cool!
My five and six year olds loved this. They are currently arguing over whether he's a vampire or a ghost. Their reasoning is hilarious.

Something that might challenge you in ways you haven't tried yet - make a dwarf in heavy armor
