The cool thing about this kind of character is that they’re basically completely timeless. Like, is he from 1870? 1900? 1950? Present day? Is he just an ancient wizard who’s been alive for centuries? Who knows!
In the older days, they buried some people who were still alive. So to prevent this, they would put a little bell above each grave, so if the presumed deceased "woke up", they could ring the bell. And the night guard could dig them up. That's what this reminded me of. Now they embalm people, so no danger of them being accidentally buried alive.
Your work is always wonderful and great. I make mainly real person head, but I get a lot of inspiration from watching your work. I want to make many characters that are not just face with sculpey someday. Thank you.
Turned out really cool! Reminds me of some old monster kits where you used that rubber cement glue and glued plastic parts together and then painted it but here you are creating it all from scratch.
I look forward to your content every Friday. Its one of the few things that makes me happy. I always wait til bedtime to watch but I just had to comment early to say thank you for sharing.
My favourite thing about this is probably the scene beneath him! You did such an amazing job creating the grass, walkway, and that fence! I can easily picture fog rolling around his ankles as the light from his lantern pushes back the dark in the dead of night... Wow!
He should turn his characters into his own stopmotion video... He has enough for a Halloween vid... Lol... Maybe a collaboration with a stop motion UA-cam'er...
They need to move for stop motion. His figures are stationary. Could he make them flexible? Perhaps if he used actual fabric over jointed areas. He would still need multiple heads for different expressions
"Make'n sure them that's buried stays buried" The extra time you took in creating the details was well worth it! It gave your character a lot of character! A crow sitting on his shoulder would have been a nice touch or maybe a toad on the path- just a suggestion! I think it's a great sculpt!
Im glad you are growing as an artist by gently pushing what your used to doing. I think its paying off. Its great the amount of details and time you have been adding. I'm glad I found your chennel and got to watch it grow.
One thing I love about you as an artist is that you continuously outdo yourself. You challenge yourself and you do so well. I absolutely love all of your videos. I've been watching since the start of all this and I'm so proud of how far you've come and the places in your imagination that you've shared with us! As always, I look forward to your videos every week and I'm never disappointed. I can't wait to see next week's :)
I love that you added scenery for your character this time! You just keep upping your game a little bit every time. Could be pretty cool to see if you could add those tiny LED lights to something one day.
Wow. This is great. The shoes were satisfying. He looks like someone Bill and Ted would bring back from the past. You should make a Bill and Ted sculpture.
Every time you upload a new video, I am in awe of your talent and attention to details. This one is no exception. Also, an idea for a monster. You could do a food/breakfast monster but every time you use or say "bake and bond" you make a little strip of bacon and put it between whatever you plan to attach.
Well done Anthony! I've been dying to see you sculpt something with an environment and you nailed it with this guy. Plus I could watch you sculpt faces forever.
why did you glue the sculpey to the wire? what glue is that? thx OOPS. Just now reading the description. It's some liquid sculpey but I don't understand the need for that? What is the need to add that to the wire?
This is your best yet. I know you can do real art sculpture and not just these cartoony monster figures. Come on, show us what you can really do with all that talent!!
i would love to see a tour of where you make your creations! Or id love to see a tour of all your "rejects" that youve previously mentioned and maybe you re doing them. Love your channel!
I am amazed at the absolutely fantastic skill that you have, please continue to express your feelings of insecurity as it will encourage your fans to try it themselves. You make it appear effortless so when you say you feel intimidated it may help others to attempt it
I think you should make Arachne from Greek Mythology, or maybe just a half-spider half-human. I think it would be so cool to see how you do the spider texture and anatomy! Loved this video and love your channel, your videos inspire me a lot. I paint/draw more than sculpt but I do like making little charms with polymer clay.
I love how this guy came out, he looks EXACTLY like *that* guy. The one that creeps around with his lantern? You think he's a bad man, but ends up pulling the good guy out of trouble in the last act. I love the scenery!! Just everything about this. It's great. It inspires the artist in me to do something cool!!
I absolutely love this one!! The environment that you created for him really makes him come to life and allows us to "create" his story, if you will. I would love to see you create something completely different from what you usually do, such as something genuinely creepy/horror; I'm just curious as to what your creation would look like if you went far out of your comfort zone, y'know?
I love that you have been giving your sculptures little props like the zombie dog with the zombie or the casket with that dead guy and this one.
Lovely...and yes, very detailed and I see it was about 2 years ago. Master detail-ist!
Exactly I love all his working
Gives me a Tim Burton vibe, like he could fit right in with “Corpse Bride”.
*Incredible job*
He looks like the guy in corpse bride who drove the carriage in the movie.
Sorta
You should add a layer of glow in the dark paint to the lantern. Extra creepy factor when the lights go out.
Ugh yes please I'm always wanting him to do something different and new with resin or glow-in-the-dark paint, or something in that fassion.
I was the 100th like yeshhhhhh!! >:3
Maybe even add some color shift paint as well? It could look even brighter.
N Barnes - I was thinking the exact same thing!
You got me at “environment” 🥰
The cool thing about this kind of character is that they’re basically completely timeless. Like, is he from 1870? 1900? 1950? Present day? Is he just an ancient wizard who’s been alive for centuries? Who knows!
Yes, all of the above
In the older days, they buried some people who were still alive. So to prevent this, they would put a little bell above each grave, so if the presumed deceased "woke up", they could ring the bell. And the night guard could dig them up. That's what this reminded me of. Now they embalm people, so no danger of them being accidentally buried alive.

The environment aspect really did boost the sculpture. Definitely got my imagination going like this dudes got some secrets lol. Very cool!
Love that you completed your figure with adding a ground to the base.. Holy cow, what a difference that makes. 😮 love what you do.
He’s angry at something. “Damn kids always playing in the graveyard!!”
I even added a great old man's voice to that 😂😂😂
Abbie Ramsay he looks like Argus Filtch (Harry Potter) to me...
I couldn’t say, I only read the books and that’s not how I imagined Filtch.
He heard something moving in his graveyard. He’d better hope it’s just damned kids.
Ghost: bruh
Turned out really cool! Reminds me of some old monster kits where you used that rubber cement glue and glued plastic parts together and then painted it but here you are creating it all from scratch.
I don't know if I am only one but why does this sculpture remind of argos flich from harry potter?
He remind me of the man in the beginning of the fourth book wich was the keeper of the riddle house
That was my first thought to 👍
@@kathy1192 You know now that you mention it, I can see that too :)
It reminds me of Grizzly tales for gruesome kids
Totally! With kind of a Corpse Bride sort of vibe too.
What I love about your sculptures is that you give them cartoonish aspects but with realistic detail.
I look forward to your content every Friday. Its one of the few things that makes me happy. I always wait til bedtime to watch but I just had to comment early to say thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much, that really means a lot!
@@aceofclay I really like your work. Have you ever done realistic work? I have an idea I want to do but I'm totally intimidated by the realism of it.
I do the same. I watch these to wind down after the day.
Being in Australia, we dont get the video till Saturday. But im the same, cant wait to see whats next.
I love him so much! It feels a bit like he is missing a crow on his shoulder but other than that - simply perfection. Love!
Wow! Love the little environment you gave him. Fantastic detail absolutely love this. Oh, I got the Snake of Clay mug and I love it!
My favourite thing about this is probably the scene beneath him! You did such an amazing job creating the grass, walkway, and that fence! I can easily picture fog rolling around his ankles as the light from his lantern pushes back the dark in the dead of night... Wow!
seriously man you should make characters for stop motion Movies, your are Amazing at sculpting and i love your creations! keep upp the great work!

You're right, the details in this piece are INSANE!!
I love the added details of the mini-environment. It's more work, but it really finishes the sculpture off so well.
I love it when he makes environment-oriented sculpts love his builds
One thing I love about you as an artist is that you continuously outdo yourself. You challenge yourself and you do so well. I absolutely love all of your videos. Fantastic sculpt and I loved watching the stone and fence details come together! 👏👏👏
So when you started I was thinking "Nope, not gonna like this" but by the end I loved him. I think this is my favourite sculpture you've made so far!
I love watching you create. I have loved how fast your channel is growing. Well deserved sir.
So happy to see your paint work is finally good enough to match the quality of detailing you do for your characters.
He really is the best yet.
the distinct facial features always amaze me 🤩 this was a great video!!
How in the world do you nail every sculpture EVER TIME?!?! Just fantastic!
It's old man jenkins! Needs an old cat to follow him around!
Yes! curling around his feet, tripping him up.😃
Your attention to detail adds beauty to the artwork ... I salute you, artist, and wish you good luck
You are such a good sculptor and I love your style😋👍❤️
The amount of work and detail you put into your clay figures blows me away.
He reminds of Filtch from Harry Potter lol. Love it!!!! Your work is AMAZING!!
Yassss i love harry potter its the best!! >:3
I love that you added scenery for your character this time! You just keep upping your game a little bit every time. Could be pretty cool to see if you could add those tiny LED lights to something one day.
He gives me ALMOST a Mr. Filch form Harry Potter vibe. I love him.
You're so freaking talented!!! It blows me away!!!

Yah it Friday, something to watch!
Love your work,thank you
It's awesome to see you using much thinner pieces of clay without tin foil reinforcement! It looks really good
Grandpa's wrinkles are real!
When I made frogs, I had a hard time showing wrinkles.
Thank you for watching the video today! Always learn a lot!!
You make it look so easy but it's a real skill to create something so cool out of clay, wire, cocktail sticks and imagination. Great job I love it
Wow he is incredible n the detail is amazing. Well done n great great idea! Your imagination rocks!
This sculpt will always be one of my favorites to return to and watch/learn from. So great!
I found you through kasey last week and ever since then i’ve watched your videos and enjoyed your work💕 keep doing what your doing it’s amazing!
Your coloring choices always amaze me. You have a very good talent for choosing palettes.
He kind of reminded me Argus Filch from Harry Potter... I love the amount of detail and care you put into him ♡
Well done Anthony! I've been dying to see you sculpt something with an environment and you nailed it with this guy. Plus I could watch you sculpt faces forever.
You have been Blessed with Endless Talent!!! 😁💥💥💥💥💥
I'm loving the extra props etc, loving the grumpy old dude.
He looks like the look out for the grave robbers, as he has gotten to old to participate any more. Love him.
This looks fantastic! His face is SO detailed! I love the little dimples in his chin, perfect touch!
Reminds me of Eustace from Courage the Cowardly Dog
Jess Hazard agreed, and a mix of the ghost host from the Haunted Mansion
The details are amazingly CRAZY!!!!! *Stripes on the SOCKS* !!! Great sculp.!
why did you glue the sculpey to the wire? what glue is that? thx OOPS. Just now reading the description. It's some liquid sculpey but I don't understand the need for that? What is the need to add that to the wire?
It helps the Sculpey adhere better to the wire. You can do it without the liquid stuff but it's more difficult and can fall off the wire and/or crack
@@masterfulmoonlighter5402 ty
So the clay sticks better
I adore the attention of detail on this sculpture.
Really like how his face came out. Just enough menace 😱
I love the paint effect on the leather coat! It really does look like leather
I'm finally an early viewer! Yay! Cool sculpt as always.

he gives me 'don't starve' vibes i love it.
I've been watching his videos for 4 years now and i still subscribe
wait, this guy only has 170k subscribers? how does he not have over a million by now? hes amazing!

You know what it's been a while since you've last done it? Thrift store makeover!
#Facts... I was thinking the same thing...
Your amazing sculpture has bags of character! Your imagination is totally awesome!
Lmao!! “Hey Reynolds wrap, how bout a sponsorship”
Dude, I legit hope someone there realizes you’re gold
He looks amazing. You did a great job. The sculptures just keep getting better.
He reminds me of many Scrooge depictions from A Christmas Carol. If I could nickname this sculpture I'd definitely call it Scrooge! 😂
Another great sculpt! I love the shoes and the skin detail on his nose and chin.
Someone seems to have seen tim burton's corpse bride... Actually.... this looks like tim burton directed animated version of Harry Potter
He came out super cool! The base really pulled it together.
“Paint the fence” I’m gonna call you Karate Clay.
FreyaWarrior yes 😂

Take a shot every time he says “snake of clay”
Best figure yet! Loving the scenery too and would love more scenery xxx
How many times did he say snake of clay in this video? 😂😜
Im not sure but I took a drink for each time and now I'm dead.
My favourite so far. The jacket look awesome and that little stand/decor tells the story very nicely !
Nice !
Filch, I thought that you don't need a summer job when you work in Hogwarts. Good to know.
As much as I love the way you sculpt is the amazing paint job that brings the pieces to life, it amazes me every time, incredible job!
I miss how you always used to say, "just like that." I liked that catchphrase better than snake of clay. But you can use both...
* wink * ;)
I never get tired of watching you.
When you accidentally sculpt Filch😂
Definitely an extremely impressive sculpture! Probably your best to date.
Please do more sets like this. I love the ones who have bases and stuff it is so much more exciting!
