My son is a former active duty Marine and I used fabric with Marine Corps items on it to make him a quilt using Freedom for my pattern. He said it's the best quilt I ever made and he loves it.

Your first favorite “Ribbons” is also one of mine! I do,love it in the batik type fabrics you show but I’m also,thinking that it would make a fun quilt for any child. My quilt guild makes quilts every year for an organization for children in certain situations and I’m,thinking this would just make a very nice and quick quilt with some fun fabrics. But, of course I can also see this pattern in so many different fabrics for holidays - and the list goes on. All your patterns though could be switched up for so many different holidays, occasions, etc. A very big thank you!

Always great videos! I have some beautiful Christmas fabrics and have been wanting to make some table runners for gifts but haven’t found a pattern I want to use. I believe I will use the Ribbons pattern but will make it smaller to turn into a runner!!!! I think it will look awesome.

@@trishwinstead28 how about Harbor Freight, they have men's t shape rulers like the cropping tool. Just thougt someone finally made one for women that was lighter in weight. Thanks for your reply
Hi Roberta! We actually made ours out large card stock. It wasn't too difficult and something you could do, too! Others have made them out of poster board or any type of heavier type of card stock. Good luck!
They are similar in design, however Brick Street is a little wider when finished and features bigger blocks than Sew Fast. Brick Street also uses the #2 fabric for the sashing, in contrast Sew Fast uses the #3 fabric.

I think John made them. You can create an L square shape with posterboard from the Dollar Tree. Good luck!
