Hi sir, can u spill how you set up your tone for this one? EQ reveal huhu pls
Sure! Went through an 8x10 simulated amp in Logic, boosted around 60 and 900Hz. Compression. Most of my tone though is coming from the parallel processing I did. I sent it to logic’s stock distortion, made it pretty dirty, then blended that signal with the dry. Hope that helps!

Thank you! Yes I’m tuned down a half step. A lot of gospel players do that because a lot of gospel songs are in keys like Ab, Db, Eb, etc. Makes it easier to play

I did all my processing in logic, not exactly sure what EQ settings I had. Probably a cut around 500Hz and a small boost around 100. I also parallel processed it with some distortion to give some grit like on the original recording.

lol this was so long ago but I believe I went directly into my interace, then amp sim and compression in logic. Then snuck in a little parallel distortion for that matt ramsey sound
