Travis’ restraint is an integral aspect of his music prowess-The Brother is awesome but understands the song is not about him-I’m also mesmerized by his tone and clarity. Kudos and a big time thank you Travis…I am what you would call a veteran gospel bassist for my church choir, and they chose to do this song for a special graduation celebration for our youth... I agonized for days upon days running out of time trying to figure out Kirk’s sequencer-like bass synthesizer line, until my drummer suggested that I check out your bass cover…low and behold, you saved the day…well done, really tasteful, kind of jazzy, and harder to finger than it seems with ghost notes and excellent timing, you make it look easy…the Choir Director and the youth choir dug it (even though I fell to tell them that the inspiration came from you)…I hit the subscribe button…do I need to pay royalties?❤️
