Griffiths iconic yet truly monstrous act of betrayal against his own comrades in exchange for power and to get a step closer to achieving his dream is without a doubt the most unforgivable blood boiling moment in anime & manga history
@@azazel5626 This is the dumbest comment I've seen so far. You are saying... Getting betrayed by your best friend, watching all your comrades get murdered by demons, being forced to watch helplessly that the love of your life is getting raped in-front of you and that your person is your best friend then losing an arm as well. Then being tormented by demonic beings trying to hunt you everyday, while also caring for your loved one who has given birth to a demonic deformed looking fetus while having lost her mind and memory. That's not cruel enough for you?
Honorable Mention: *Lucy's Puppy - Elfen Lied -Oh look, another innocent dog killed. I DO NOT promote, condone, or endorse child endangerment, but to those monsters that killed the dog, I'll make an exception. They deserved what Lucy did to them!
Even though you dont see it the cries alone make that scene so hard to watch. It was so uncalled for what those children did and has to be the most disturbing death Ive seen in an anime. Im surprised its not on this list.
Honorable mention Sasha Braus from Attack on Titan: she was one of the most loveable characters in the show. So much that when Sasha was shot and killed, everybody hated her assailant, Gabi.
@@brodaforlife Speak for yourself. Gabi ain't on my shit list cause I don't care enough about her. She pissed me off I understood her reason I forgave her I just don't care about her I don't hate her nor is she on my shit list. She not worth that time.
Ace should have been here Akainu despite being one of the greatest Villains gets hate because he stabbed and killed Ace from the back and by that he literally stabbed and killed his fanbase along with it that scene always brings a tear to my eye every time I Watch It!
That wasn't unforgivable though. She was a soldier who became KIA. Her father specifically says that this is the reason he chooses to forgive Gabi. Better example from Attack On Titan would have to be Eren's mom.
Maes Hughes was painful. When I was a kid and watched his death in the first anime, I felt horrible. When I read the manga years later, it stung even more. When Brotherhood aired and it followed the manga properly, it hurt just as badly as the first two times. It was such a gruesome yet realistic scenario (minus the shapeshifting thing) that it felt like it could happen to anyone at any moment. Not a single death has EVER come close to this. It was raining every time I saw that funeral. Without fail, a torrential downpour.
I think that, while Shirley's death was unfortunate, the events leading to Euphemia's death in Code Geass was much more unforgivable. It was literally the wrong place at the worst time.
Those deaths are unforgivable but Shirley's death does feel more sad that death is simply heartbreaking, lelouch using his geass over and over again makes it even way more heartbreaking than it was!
I can't even fault Euphemia's death though since it really wasn't his choice. He wanted to give in and agree, but, like you said, an unfortunate "time and place event occurred". Shirley was just killed out of jealousy and pettiness without any recompense from rolo in the end.

I disagree. I'm currently reading the Manga right now. I read the black swordsmen arc a few weeks ago. When the count had to make the decision to make a sacrifice he chose guts but the God Hand told him a sacrifice had to be someone who he cares about. Griffith is fucked up for what he did and his despair and hatred towards Guts was much stronger than his love for the Hawk but he did care for them. I just read the chapter when Griffith was in the dungeon by himself he was saying how the only person he could think about was Guts. He talked about his "malice, friendship, jealousy, futility, regret, tenderness, sorrow, pain, and hunger...." all feelings towards Guts. Don't get me wrong Griffith ain't shit but I think it's to easy to say he didn't care about them based off what I am reading right now as I type.
@@cheritripp9470 no it was really a friendship but his inability to take accountability of his own actions and loosing Guts who was his crutch he didn't know he needed so much until he was defeated by him. That day Griffith lost his friend and sword(metaphorically). Griffith turned that despair he felt into hatred for Guts. He still had some type of love for Guts but his hatred and need to blame Guts for his downfall was way to strong.

People hate Shou for no reason he's simply being a great villain as joker did exact same thing to her daughter after killing his wife and much like Shou joker did it just for fun and joker's original origins is comic books before the killing joke is the most dumbest to be villain in the first place, even in the killing joker his wife and the society were controlling themselves way more than dumb joker at that point!
@@deathtime5288 I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that English might not be your native language, because it is really hard to make out what you're trying to say here. But from what I can gather, you think that people should embrace Shou Tucker because they are fans of other villains like the Joker. The differences are: 1) Even in The Killing Joke, the Joker didn't kill his own family. 2) Regardless of which story you're following, once the Joker is insane he does things simply for the chaos. Some of the more modern versions of the character have been quite violent, but the character has provided a balance between comic relief and arch nemesis throughout most of his history. 3) Shou Tucker isn't doing things for the fun of it. He isn't really even insane. He is simply heartless and cruel, and makes the conscious decision to mutilate his own wife and child to advance his career. Even the Joker shows a shred of humanity every once in a while. Tucker has none.
I'm surprised that Chiaki Nanami's death wasn't here. Over 4 minutes of torture, impaled from about 50 different directions, and still lingers a few moments trying to still help. Her death breaking Izuru is just the capper on this brutal scene.
Man the anime execution of the real Chiaki is so horrible, it's very fitting as the catalyst that drove the class into despair, the kicker is always the last bit of it to me. I was not ready for that episode.
Honestly I thought number 1 would be "Carla devours Erens mother", because it was also unforgivable for Eren. But Dio killing Jojo's dog? WAY to unforgivable
I get why people feel that way about Mjurran, but there’s two reasons why she shouldn’t be charged with the massacre. 1) The barrier she put up only prevented communication outside of Tempest. The barrier that weakened the monsters was put up outside by the church. Whether she cast her barrier or not, the monsters still would’ve been weakened. And because the barrier’s function was so limited, she assumed that Clayman only wanted to prevent Tempest from interfering with the duel between Milim and Carrion. She was just as surprised as everyone else. The only reason she took the blame was because she was afraid that if Rimuru didn’t have a target, he would’ve hurt Youm in his rage. 2) Clayman had the power to control his subordinates like marionettes. If Mjurran had refused, he would’ve triggered that power, forcing her to cast it anyways. And very likely, he would’ve used her body to kill Youm first, simply out of spite. So just as that one dude who swallowed a piece of Charybdis was forced to watch himself swallow something he knew would kill him, Mjurran would’ve been forced to watch herself kill the man she loves, and then cast the barrier anyways. The fact that the barrier only blocked communications made her think that it wouldn’t have been a big deal, just an inconvenience for Tempest.

Krilin was one of the first anime death I've watched...damn it was so fcking emotional I cant believe character who are best friend with MC could die...but after being revived by Dragon Balls several times you just be like...meh they could just revive him again
I don't know about any other death but to date for me the most traumatizing death in the manga, as well as anime, has been the death of 'L' from death note. I was so traumatized by his death that I have never been able to finish the anime or manga and still don't know what happened in the end. I despised Light Yagami and his schemes and I was so furious and heartbroken at 'L' death, that I lost complete interest in ever watching or reading death note again!
You have to forgive her for putting the Barrier up. She was being used like a Puppet with the strings attached to her heart and others if she disobeyed.
Yeah. And those deaths are only there to make the villains more sickeningly loathsome. In fact, Araki is a dog lover. It's just that he kills canines in his work just to hammer the whole point of animal cruelty being a heinous crime.
They did it again! They feature a one piece character who, at least, deserves a honorable mention, but…nothing. Absolutely NOTHING! On an unrelated note, Ace’s death will be avenged one day, and Akianu will get his just reward for enacting and enforcing his brand of justice.
How about Tasumi's friends at the beginning of Akame Ga Kill?!? They were tortured and killed just for kicks & giggles!!! Senceless & cruel.... Still, this list hits like sledgehammer on the feels!! 😥👍🔥✊😎
I know it's a pretty basoc death to choose, but Ace's death in Pne Piece was one I couldn't recover from. So many villains in that show deserved to be axed and just got the crap beat out of them, but Ace HAD to die?! After they rescued him and they were pretty much home free?!
Griffith’s betrayal made me believe he is one of the most well written characters as a true neutral character. Everything he does is truly for himself making him neither a villian or a hero
I can't believe they put hues at #5 and used brotherhood instead of the original series because that one hits way worse because it was the first time it happened brotherhood was the second coming of it so if you saw original series you knew it was coming and it didn't hit as hard
Woah woah! How was Shou Tucker’s daughter not number 1?! She was killed by Scar, but what he does to his daughter is the worst thing I’ve seen in anime…
I would’ve thought Kamina from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann would’ve gotten an honourable mention. But then again there is a plethora to choose from in this category.
Please forgive me hardcore anime fans. I've never seen these animes before. But as a huge animal lover, I will say this. Who in the ACTUAL HELL would burn a harmless dog ALIVE?! Who in the ACTUAL HELL would harm a cute animal in general?!
I’m surprised the deaths of Marco or Sasha from attack on titan no didn’t make the list. Marco being left to die like that was horrific. Sasha the loveable potato girl….that’s all I need to say
Hero Killers: The Hero Killers could kill one of the Protagonist's friends, including The Fanbase's Favorite Characters. They are usually an Elite Cerebus Knights who serves their King, or the King of Cerebus (The Boss) as well. However, some were ended up as Hate Sinks such as D'Vorah, from MKX who killed Mileena, She even managed to Kill Scorpion (At least the Present one, leaving the past scorpion redeem himself), who is the most iconic character of the franchise.
Totally amazing video watch mojo of the unfaithful kills in anime, fantastic job. What about top ten list of anime characters that went to hell/underworld then came back alive in anime.
I will never get past the deaths of Hughes, Ace, Tanjiro’s family, Shirley, and Miki. Losing them left me with emotional scars that may never fully heal. 💔💔💔
In the end, two villains finally got the death sentence they deserved. The only one that remains is Akainu. I will crush his heart in my hand when I'm finished with him!
Top 10 Anime Characters Who Are Born To Let Their Gangs Down: 5. Leorio Paladinight (Hunter x Hunter) 4. Yamcha (Dragon Ball) 3. Chibiusa (Sailor Moon) 2. Tea Gardner (Yu-Gi-Oh!) 1. Athena (Saint Seiya)
How is Tea Gardner born to let her friends down? She was the heart of their group. If it wasn't for her, Yugi/Atem wouldn't have won or accomplished anything from the show, let alone Atem wouldn't have became friends with anyone.
Gabi killing Sasha in Attack On Titan. That moment pretty much broke the internet and made her, to this day, one of the most despised characters in all of anime, despite the series BS and failed attempt to redeem her.
#6 The moment where Seryu became the most hated character I still somewhat haven't recovered from this Sheele death is one of the most saddest ever in the AGK series and there were plenty of them, especially every time you get attached to a character😭🤧
Griffiths betrayal was the most terrifying yet at the same time the most relatable one! we could see that he is not evil just for the sake of being evil. he has reasons behind it!
You could argue that Tanjiro is stronger than Sasuke. At the very least the death of his family didn't leave him with the resolve to take over the world and mass murder indiscriminately like Sasuke.
Exactly he focused his revenge on who deserved it and it didn't stop him from being happy unlike Sasuke who doesn't love Sakura she's convenient for keeping his bloodline going
@@byronrush9802 not to mention he claims he wants to prevent another clan massacre like he went through, yet his plan to indiscriminately slaughter people en mass contradicts that. On top of that his plan to focus all the world hatred on himself was doomed to fail regardless. Because at the end of the day he still human. No human being can take that much hatred, he’d shatter like a potato chip under an elephants foot
Well it starts his path to revenge so it's slightly important to his story but it happened off screen so it doesn't hit as hard, the other deaths on this list happened on screen
For me, it was Nobuaki who was killed by Natsuko while being fatally wounded by Riona in the King's Game both manga and anime. Now I have PTSD, anger, sadness from his death and Riona's by drowning herself along with his dead body and chainsaws altogether because of it.
*growls while tearing up* I will never forgive those pure evil bastards for taking these character's lives away! They all must pay dearly for what they have done! Akainu, Seryu, Rollo, and the other monsters that have made those innocent characters suffer so much! Great list btw, but those who have died tragically and honorably deserve way better than this and I don't mean to be rude or to upset anyone here, but the voice actors and actresses when they voiced the deceased characters that didn't deserve to die, their talents were wasted. :(

I was so traumatized by his death that I have never been able to finish the anime or manga and still don't know what happened in the end. I despised Light Yagami and his schemes and I was so furious and heartbroken at 'L' death, that I lost complete interest in ever watching or reading death note again!
You should definitely finish it! Light gets what’s coming to him in the end.
Junpei: I can't wait to be a part of the main cast
Mappa: Say sike rn
You have to forgive her for putting the Barrier up. She was being used like a Puppet with the strings attached to her heart and others if she disobeyed.
That arc was a rollercoaster of emotion
The death of juryia from naruto. How pain killed him then pain switch sides right after. Unforgivable
You should've included all dogs deaths in JoJo
The only dog that didn't die was a stray from Battle Tendency.
@@cherrylion5076 Koichi's dog survived too.
@@cherrylion5076
Don't forget Benedict from part 5
Yeah. And those deaths are only there to make the villains more sickeningly loathsome. In fact, Araki is a dog lover. It's just that he kills canines in his work just to hammer the whole point of animal cruelty being a heinous crime.
Honorable mention: Vega Platoon, The Galaxy Railways. An unexpected strike from the Alfort fleet was the end of them.
Black lagoon. The twins and Mr samurai. You know when the last twin looks at the sky, looks happy, and then bangg
Sasha: Am I a joke?
yes
They did it again! They feature a one piece character who, at least, deserves a honorable mention, but…nothing. Absolutely NOTHING! On an unrelated note, Ace’s death will be avenged one day, and Akianu will get his just reward for enacting and enforcing his brand of justice.
How about Tasumi's friends at the beginning of Akame Ga Kill?!? They were tortured and killed just for kicks & giggles!!! Senceless & cruel....
Still, this list hits like sledgehammer on the feels!! 😥👍🔥✊😎
I can't get over Prushka from Made in Abyss. Actualy EVERYTHING revolving around Bondrewd had me whispering "fuuuuuuuck....." the whole time.
What about Frieza killing Krillin and making Goku go Super Saiyan. Quite literally the greatest Anime moments of all time.
I agree
“Remember my tail!?”
“Can’t you just take a joke?”
@@lupinvash3 TFS fan I see 😏
Pain killing Jiraiya was definitelly unforgivable 😭😭💔💔
What sucks is that most of these deaths resulted in a lot of karmic retribution heaped at the perpetrators… and then there’s Griffith…
I thought Ace should be on this list. I'm still not over his death 😭
Seriously, how could that one NOT be here? I'm still looking forward to the moment when Luffy puts Akainu down.
@@EdBoy1215 they baited and switched us it was in the thumbnail
@@EdBoy1215 they baited and switched us it was in the thumbnail
It should be on here
I know it's a pretty basoc death to choose, but Ace's death in Pne Piece was one I couldn't recover from. So many villains in that show deserved to be axed and just got the crap beat out of them, but Ace HAD to die?! After they rescued him and they were pretty much home free?!
Here's an unforgivable kill:
Captain Molly (Sonic X)
Her death was cut in the English dub.
True. In that case then:
Maria Robotnik.
I watch lots of anime and for some reason, Junpei affected me the most despite him lasting for less than 10 episodes
When the blonde kid killing your dog kickstarts an entire legacy resulting in the entire Universe being Reset.
Griffith’s betrayal made me believe he is one of the most well written characters as a true neutral character. Everything he does is truly for himself making him neither a villian or a hero
he raped casca, is the most villanous act someone can do
Y'all really up and forgot Potato Girl?? I audibly gasped when she was shot dead. It's a death that shifts the whole tone and mood of the show.
Hanji should be on there too. Everyone thought he was a good guy and he betrayed them.
@@mlpartclub412 And when that scene get's animated it should be. But, since it's not and these are for anime that's a spoiler😂😂
I can't believe they put hues at #5 and used brotherhood instead of the original series because that one hits way worse because it was the first time it happened brotherhood was the second coming of it so if you saw original series you knew it was coming and it didn't hit as hard
I just binge watched Dororo, Mio currently comes to mind
Shirley's death was a hitter. That did piss me off
Please forgive me hardcore anime fans. I've never seen these animes before. But as a huge animal lover, I will say this. Who in the ACTUAL HELL would burn a harmless dog ALIVE?! Who in the ACTUAL HELL would harm a cute animal in general?!
Maes Hughes death: Only gets ranked #5
The FMA fandom: *Are you seeing this bullshit?*
However, some were ended up as Hate Sinks such as D'Vorah, from MKX who killed Mileena, She even managed to Kill Scorpion (At least the Present one, leaving the past scorpion redeem himself), who is the most iconic character of the franchise.
... I was not prepared for the death of Danny. Killing a dog is a perfect way of making audiences haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate a character.
If these kids only knew how emotional that Krillin death scene was
Shirley's death made me so mad she was such a wholesome character. That bitch killed her. I hated Rollo till the end because of that.
Me too. I hated him more than Nina.
She lives in the Trilogy.

Top 10 Anime Characters Who Are Born To Let Their Gangs Down:
5. Leorio Paladinight (Hunter x Hunter)
4. Yamcha (Dragon Ball)
3. Chibiusa (Sailor Moon)
2. Tea Gardner (Yu-Gi-Oh!)
1. Athena (Saint Seiya)
How is Tea Gardner born to let her friends down? She was the heart of their group. If it wasn't for her, Yugi/Atem wouldn't have won or accomplished anything from the show, let alone Atem wouldn't have became friends with anyone.
Eren Yeager (AOT.)
@@darthrage8673 She was kidnapped all the time!

@@waittillfamewtf2385 Thank you.
Gabi killing Sasha in Attack On Titan. That moment pretty much broke the internet and made her, to this day, one of the most despised characters in all of anime, despite the series BS and failed attempt to redeem her.

Thank god DIO died in true pain, killed by his own special ability
0:00 me when I open up this video and accidentally see that one spoiler: NNNOOOOOOOOO
Happy Ace didn’t make this list he was a pirate and he didn’t know when to walk away he could’ve lived
The deaths of Marco and Sasha from Attack on Titan should have been on the list, along with Nina and Alexander from Fullmetal Alchemist.

I’d say Euphemia from Code Geass deserve’s an honorable mention, at least! :l
I still will never forgive Leon for doing my best girl Sayaka dirty
The thing is that shirley is alive in the new canon, hughes's and sheele's death were hurtful, i can't watch hughes's funeral without shedding a tear
#1 - and John Wick has entered the chat.
A platypus?
*sees it crying and asking for help*
Juunpei the Platypus?!
Yall really put Tanjiro's family who literally no one cares about except kny normies over any anime kills from other great anime?💀😂
Well it starts his path to revenge so it's slightly important to his story but it happened off screen so it doesn't hit as hard, the other deaths on this list happened on screen
Anime Royale: One Piece VS Naruto VS Bleach!
7. Yeah, Tanjiro's family definitely did not deserve to get slaughtered by Muzan.
Reincarnation of the slime in this category makes the list already void, slime anime is one of those fun to watch not serious type of animes

Unforgivable is a bit of a high bar. Unless it's an irredeemable villain, there isn't an unwarranted character death that can be forgiven
The first time killing gets killed by Freezer in dragon ball z is memorable, Goku got pissed and eventually his pain made him to achieve a super sayin
Krillin died in DB. That was his second death.
I'll never get over Miki's death
