This watch is already starting to grow on me. When I saw it first thing this morning I wasn't sure I liked it . I don't think I would buy one but if I was looking for an aventurine moon phase watch this would be it! I am a big fan of CW. I own the chocolate dial, bronze pro that they came out with over the summer. That watch is amazing for the price.
I always liked the CW moonphase... I ended up buying a Arnold & Son perpetual moon last week which is very similar. Love the aventurine dial... great watch for the price.
Beautiful, but I bought my Venezianico Aventurine with a Sellita 200 for 700 $, I dont see how did they come up with this price outside the "ask for as much as possible" argument. A pass from me
The CW Movement is a Sellita with a self developed module and the watch is produced in switzerland. The venecianico is without any self developed parts beside the design and the watch is mostly produced in asia. That makes the price difference. And there is even a difference in the brand value.
I have multiple CW watches, love the brand. Love the Moonglow but consider it too big. I was hoping this new release would be a bit smaller. It's not. No indices is a deal breaker for me, been there, hated that. It's a pretty thing but I'm SO disappointed.
Too big for a dress watch imo. Not a huge fan of the printed, pixelated moon either. Years ago they did a stamped metal moon on their moon phase that looked so much better. Price too is high considering movement and other micros that use adventurine. Idk about this one.

I like it a lot! However, if the hands were lumed, it would have been perfect...I don't understand the point to have the moon lumed and not the hands...
Non lumed dress watch is forgivable. But non lumed hands when other elements have been lumed is a massive pet peeve of mine, I've seen it recently elsewhere and I find it irritating. It is a beautiful watch but the absent lume on the hands and the unnecessary swiss made text on the dial make it uninteresting for me.
Looks like another great watch from CW. I appreciate the complication and the idea of the module. This new model compares favorably to the Moonglow, which is already very nice. Another one for the wish list. Thanks for the review.
Underwhelming, thick slab sided case, never liked that bracelet and the hands may have been better in white. When are they going to bring out the green dial and bezel full size c60 in bronze with full bronze bracelet? That I would buy 👍
This is a statement watch for sure. CW knocking one out of the park in both design and value. Is it just me, or is the term "on the wrist" redundant and hysterical. I mean, what other part of your body are you doing to strap it on - your ankle? Your... never mind...

Looks heavily influenced by Moser’s aventurine moon. I appreciate having something like this at an affordable price point but originality with this and the 12 (czapek/defy)seems lacking.

For their third moonphase Christopher Ward turned whimsy up to 10. It's a fascinating watch done very well.
Beautiful, but definitely not worth $2,475. Sugess does their own version of it for $899...with a tourbillon.
but sugess aint swiss made, so for some people its hard pass too.

It's a very beautiful watch, but 48mm lug to lug and 13.3mm thick makes this a big watch. I don't think it works on "most" wrists.
38mm and make it manual winding to make it a bit thinner?… that would be incredible !!

those dark dials make it almost impossible to eliminate reflections unfortunately
Moonphase here is a bit large and the watch too is oversized for a dress watch. Own several CWs but this is a miss for me.

What would be the purpose of art watches? No minute markers and too poor hands visibility to tell time but not flashy enough to be jewelry.
I would love to see the seconds hands sweep past the moon phase with a kid riding a bycicle and an alien in the basket.

Not for me, thanks. I want a timepiece that actually tells the time to the minute. This is a work of art, not a watch.
I own a few CWards great value. This one however lacks practicality and for the price as a strictly fun watch its a pass for me.
I think they missed a trick, should have put a micro CW logo on the moon
