Damn, those H7 and H9 are everything I want from the Pulse headset. They’re literally what the Xbox Wireless Headset is. Connecting the phone to the headset while gaming is so underrated imo.

There's no reason to have for them to do so, till now ..their prices are retarded for the monitors...no average pc consumer will shell out so much money for a simple monitor...the local dimming for HDR is mostly useful for ps5 and that too is a very premium price for that feature ..that said the monitors do look dope and are built really well, albeit a tad expensive

That's my setup as well. But I've used several different headphones and my issue is I feel they never get as loud as I want them. I change all the in game and system audio settings to max volume and still feel quiet for my liking. When I use my XM4 for music off my phone , they're more than loud enough. Any fixes for this? Do I need an amp?

Tried the H7 and H9 today at a Sony Showroom. The spatial and sound quality I absolutely loved it. The only downside is I don’t think the bass is punchy enough if the main thing to get this headset is for gaming. I don’t know if the software installed on PC can help and enhance the sound quality. Overall I loved both of them, H9 cushion is really comfortable but H7 is cheaper with the exact sound performance. Tough choice! Now I will go to test Steelseries nova headset before coming into conclusion.

That funky USB port on the monitor is the Type B USB port, in this case, the USB 3.0 Type B. More commonly known in my group of family and friends as the USB Printer port because that's the only "modern" device that uses the connector. Well, the USB 2.0 version, at least.
Purchased this monitor when it was released and am using it with my PS5 and M1 MacBook Pro. So far I’m loving it except for some parts of the HDR. I say some parts because when watching movies and gaming in HDR, I notice the local dimming (when set to high) causing the image to exhibit haloing that looks different from what I’ve seen in other Sony LED backlight displays. This only happens in a pitch black room with no bias lighting but it’s actually kinda distracting. To the point where I feel like turning local dimming to low is a better option with HDR content. I find it’s most noticeable with contrasty HDR movie scenes but when you know what to look for it’s noticeable with pretty much all HDR content. You get haloing in the form of squiggly white lines that move around frame depending where highlighted objects/subjects are in the frame. Not sure if it’s just my panel but given that the monitor has none of the screen defects people have been posting online about, I want to say I have a solid panel. Just wondering if anyone can add to this discussion. I love this monitor and if this is a normal backlight consequence on a 27 inch screen, I’m willing to put up with it. But if it’s a defect, then I feel like I should swap it out while the return window is still good. Thanks all 🤘🏼
Great review, man. I just ordered the Sony I got an awesome deal on them. I didn't pay $300, more like $159.99. This will be my first gaming headphones. I waited a while to buy and got a killer deal. I thought this would be the best option for me.

H7 is definitely the better buy. The monitor stand is ehh, idk if mounting is possible but would be great if you could. Full array dimming on a gaming monitor makes it an automatic winner in my eyes

a 27 inch 4k display will have a higher pixel density than a 32 inch 4k display, therefore looking better. NTM a 27 inch display for gaming is plenty imo. That is, if you are playing at a desk.
