This game was our 5th or 6th game and we’re far more comfortable with the rules and just working on using the special rules for the sides for tactical advantage. Having experience with Sharp Practice certainly helps. Both John and I start back to work this week so my painting will slow down a little bit gaming will still be every Sunday.

Looks like a tricky mission for the Romans. Did John deploy all his ambushes by the end of the day's play?
No! He still had two units to deploy. I think the Roman goal of holding a crossing for two turns was always going to be tough.
