At the time I bought my headers, Supersprint was the only brand available. Given the choice today, I'd probably get the Evolve headers. Peak HP between the two are pretty close, but the Evolve seem to have better mid-range torque. I also highly recommend the Evolve tune to go with whatever header you get.
I have 02 e39 m5 and purchased it with it alteady having the supersprint headers on, not sure if its stock cats, xpipe, and eisenmann cat back with eisenmann mufflers. Do you have the stock cats or different?
Wow! I think that sounds better than the supersprint F1 mufflers. However, your build is not cheap, I'm looking into swapping my e39 m5 with a race exhaust but I need to start with headers first and work my way down. First things first, swapping in my jb racing clutch/flywheel and the e60 540i short shift kit w/ uuc dssr and of course a new boot :)
No resonator in this clip, no drone, but was a tad loud for my taste while cruising around. I later added a pair of bullet style resonators (Vibrant Performance from Summit, forget the model #) and now it's perfect.
