New sub. Metallica has always been my favorite band. It's the reason why I bought my first guitar. Fun fact the intro solo was originally recorded in reverse. So, you are actually hearing it being played backwards. There's a video somewhere they took the solo and reversed it so you can hear it being played the original way. Both ways it sounds awesome. Every song on this album is awesome.

I love the term gallopy. They are though and that's why they are the Four Horseman . You guys have to check out Eye Of The Beholder and Dyer's Eve and of course AJFA the song .
Hey guys!! please react to "The Shortest Sraw" same album, just in case any of you have heard it before, even better than this one, IMO This is THE band that got me into Metal, BEST METALLICA ALBUM, IMHO but after the black album which is Ok, I got dissapointed, but I'm not going into detal with that just know that first 4 albums show who Metallica really was, like I said, IMHO but I owe them showing me what metal was, and nowadays I have 2 fav bands: Tool and Dream Theater, if you ever want to explore them that'd be a big jump up (that's right UP not forward) in your path to more awesome metal bands.
This is their "prog" era. Lars and James mixed it themselves. It is a double record on vinyl, not because of the length, but "because if we put it on one record it would sound like Sh!t."

Even though this album is fantastic, never forget that the bass guitar was mixed at basic level which can barely be heard! That is the only crime on this great album. Now react to the band Dying Fetus and their song Compulsion For Cruelty. 🤘🤘 And of course you guys must continue Slayer, Metallica, Death and the band Obituary! Your lives will enhance you nce you hear Dying Fetus and Obituary guys! 🤘🤘
Welcome to the new evolution of the band after master of puppets. Longer, more technical, just a cool and natural evolution. Like master, there is really imo, not a bad track. And always the lyrics are something else.
