Thank you, Becky! I’ve been doing the 12 poses with you without a chair. I am so happy you created this chair practice as I have a new yoga chair. First, the way you emphasize hinging from the hips is such a great reminder. And doing all 12 poses with a chair allowed me to really focus on the strengthening aspects of the postures. ❤😊
I'm so happy to her that you have been doing my 12 poses video without a chair, but I'm really happy to hear that this chair version is helpful for you! I'm glad that you can focus on the strengthening aspects of the postures by using the chair. Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment. I love reading all the comments. ☺💛
Thank you! I'm happy to know that you enjoyed this version of yoga for osteoporosis. Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment! I appreciate it. ☺🙏
Great! I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed the video and that you find it easy to understand. Cheers to practicing yoga everyday! Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment.☺
Thank you for posting a clear, easy to follow video of Dr Fishman’s routine for osteoporosis. I have the book and the original Dr Fishman video but this is easier to follow as it focuses solely on the easier method. (The setting of your lovely home is also encouraging rather than a studio. It reinforces that we can do this daily at home.) Thank you x
I am happy to hear that you have Dr. Fishman's book and original video. I am also very happy to hear that you enjoy my chair version. Thank you for the kind words about my home and the setting where I film the videos. Cheers to doing yoga daily!
I'm so glad that you like this video and find it doable. That's the key; finding something that you enjoy and will do regularly (maybe even daily)! Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment. Cheers to yoga and good health!
I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed this modified yoga practice and that you like my videos. Yoga can be modified to fit everyone's needs. Thanks for taking the time to leave me a message!

I am in that small percent of ppl that gets extremely dizzy and nauseas when I tried regular yoga after my diagnosis. This is perfect and I still helping my osteoporosis. Thank you
I am happy to hear that this video works for you and is helping you build stronger bones! Keep practicing and moving your body as often as possible, daily if you are able. Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment. I appreciate knowing that my videos are being seen and that they help people! ☺💛🙏
I'm happy to hear that this chair version is helpful for your condition. If you log on to UA-cam.com, when the page opens, look over on the left side and you will see "History". Click on that and you will see videos that you have watched recently. I think that is the quickest and easiest way to find this video so that you can view and do it every day. I hope that helps.
Greetings - I just discovered you and will be happy to recommend your videos to my chair yoga class. I have some new students with osteoporosis - and thinking of just incorporating these 12 poses among the other poses in my class. Does the Fishman routine have to be done in order? I am not sure if there is a particular reason for his flow? Will it matter if I disperse it among other poses? Thank you for you help and nice job with your videos. Happy day, Nancy
Glad to hear that you discovered my UA-cam channel! I appreciate you recommending my videos to others that you think might benefit. I cannot find anything that states that the 12 poses in the Dr. Fishman study need to be done in order. My thoughts are that you can incorporate them in any order you feel fits your teaching style and your students. Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment. Keep up the good work of sharing yoga with your students! Cheers to yoga, stronger bones and good health! 🙏💛
I'm so happy to hear that you have been doing this video daily since mid October! Consistency is the key to any progress or project. You should try to hold the poses for at least 12 seconds but not more than 72 seconds. The study found that there was no benefit to the bones for holding the poses more than 72 seconds. If you can't hold for 12 seconds, just do your best. I tried to hold the poses for about 12 seconds while I was making the video but I did not use a timer so my holds in the video might be a little less or a little more than 12 seconds. Any length of hold even if it's not exactly 12 seconds will help address osteoporosis. Thanks for asking the question.

I’ve been doing this video daily since mid October to address osteoporosis. How long do recommend holding each of the 12 poses?
