Thank you for a good video. Always enjoy the humor and God honest truth. Imagine what a Joe Niekro nail file relic card would fetch, literally? God bless you. Have a great weekend.
Great video and awesome cards Mr Wax Pack Dad. Hope all is well you Mr Wax Pack Dad. Have a good Friday and a great weekend to you and ✌️ Mr Wax Pack Dad.
Great rip. I am a big fan of the Rose and Reggie cards and the Rock and Rickey duo card. Looking forward to Marvel. I'm thinking of getting into that game myself but I need to find some boxes for an affordable price in the Wild Wild Web. Jerry Narron was the catcher who first replaced Thurman Munson.
Thanks for the support! The 90 Marvel were about $10 a pack with discounts on multiples. 91-93 are much less expensive since they are later sets. That's cool info on Jerry Narron. I think he was 3rd base coach for the Brewers some time ago!
Hey Brother!! Good Rip!! Hey, Take all the Mental Health days you want. They are Therapeutic!! I think you are on to Something with the Yeager Bomb Reference!!
I hate to say it but those packs were more than likely searched. Each pack in 1982 had an 82 Topps sticker. I opened up a full box on our channel a few years ago if you’d like to see what I’m referring to.
To add to that I believe that some packs had gum and some had stickers but rarely both. This came from bcbe box, very well known seller and had roller marks.
@@thewaxpackdad not to disagree with with you but that is incorrect. Legit packs have both the gum and a sticker in the pack. Those were actually standard. Take the time to watch the box opening on our channel. I actually discuss this as I’m opening the first pack. And when I opened packs in 1982, they all came that way. I just thought you should know. A lot of collectors are unaware of this when it comes to 1982 Topps packs
1982-sweet! Love this year and design! HOF run! Raines and Rickey!!! I would love to get one of these pack wrappers!? What do you do with the packs after opening? I’m working on a project with Topps wrappers. Enjoyed this very much!!
No way!! My oldest pack is 1986! Is there a player or set you are looking for or working on? I would be interested in each year you listed , that’s hilarious!
@@thewaxpackdad Wow that is cool!! I am kinda into a new project and I’m trying to collect a wrapper of Topps wrappers from today back to…. Well as far back as I can 😁 I think my oldest pack is 85/86?!? What would you want for a wrappers from your years mentioned above!? A player or set you want to work on maybe?
Oh yeah. Mr Rick Manning..... Not only stole Ecks wife but ended Paul Monitors hitting streak by selfishly getting a hit and ending the game before Monitor could get another hit!!! 😂
Oh wow! Thank you so much! I will get that wrapped up and feature on the next episode. Is it okay that I use your name or should I say a channel supporter spotted it?

5 top notch pulls out of 4 packs is a win for any collector. Well done WPD!
Thanks so much!!!!
Keep up with the great videos my friend 🎉
Thanks Titus and happy bday!
I believe I understood the “Are you Johnny Ray? Who wants to know” reference.
For some reason that song was in my head lol! Thanks for watching
Super fun rip! Very nostalgic. Enjoyed this.
Thanks so much!!!
Nice wax pack breaks! Thanks for the video Dad!
Thanks so much! I really enjoyed opening this one up!!
Joe Niekro's nail file video is one of the best baseball videos on the web.
Is that where he hides it in his hat and then throws it behind him? That is great stuff right there....
Winfield, Rose, and Jackson all in a row! Nice..
It's funny how you can get 30 cards in a row with no hits and then bang! Thanks so much!!!
That was an awesome rip WPD love the 82 set Great Rose card and the Rock & Henderson card
Keep up the great work brother
Thanks so much Kevin!!! Hope all is well with you too.
SWEET RIP! 5 for 4 special! Really love that Raines/Rickey card! Hope you’re having a great week and have a great weekend 👍💪👊
Thanks my friend! Going to my dad's house in a little lake in Wisconsin for some r&r. Campfires, fishing and maybe a brewski
@@thewaxpackdad oh my! campfires and fishing 🎣. That sounds like a GREAT weekend . Enjoy, and I hope the mosquitoes aren’t the only thing biting 😆
Some really great cards and man look at the views on this video!!!! Awesome
No kidding ! It turned out to be a top 5 video for me out of 150+. Crazy how some videos just take off. I really appreciate it.

Really enjoyable rip, a lot of nice cards pulled! Hope you have a great weekend!

Awesome cards
Thanks Greg!!!!
Another great video !
Thank you so much for watching!!!!
Nice rip with a good HOF run.
It's so weird how they hit like a slot machine sometimes! Thanks so much!!!
Steve Yeager was married to one of the backup singers for Steely Dan.
Wooooo Ax Pack Dad!
Whoooo! Love it!!!
Great watching you rip theses packs but I'm New to collecting and have no idea where these cards should stand in my collection
If you ever need some advice on collecting let me know - I'll help where I can!
Never knew MIke Scott was a Met. He was unhittable in 1986.
He and Nolan Ryan were quite the duo. Plus as a bonus we're great on RBI baseball on nintendo
Champ Summers, tough guy and Viet Nam vet.
Awesome name and much respect for his service. I'm from the hometown of Rocky Bleir who went to Nam and played for the Steelers.

(1) I wonder if Danny Boone's first name is Daniel.
(2) Pretty great three-card sequence in that second pack!
Duuuuude! How did I miss that?? Comedy gold right there
@@thewaxpackdad Next time you pull a Danny Boone card on the channel, you know what to do 😄

Some good ones in that pull I thought.
Thanks I did too. Hope all is well and the beer and BBQs are flowing!!
Was hoping Zack Hample would show up.
Now I'm gonna have to look up Zack Hample!!!
its pronounced as Dave Rose a ma. He is also Kirk Gibson's brother in law.
That is cool to know. Makes the family BBQ a lot of fun I bet
for some odd reason i have never seen that Griffey LOL
Pete Rose should be in the HOF
💯!!!!
Love the rick Manning. Is that George Foster the error card?
Not going to talk about RIck Manning and why he was famous? (see Dennis Eckersley)
Oh yeah. Mr Rick Manning..... Not only stole Ecks wife but ended Paul Monitors hitting streak by selfishly getting a hit and ending the game before Monitor could get another hit!!! 😂
I would buy these packs but I don’t trust the sellers
I would be happy to share some of my trusted sellers. Of course offline. Otherwise grocery rack packs are usually a good bet and tamper resistant
News flash charlie hustle is banned from the Hall, but should definitely be voted in
What is unfortunate about the name John Urrea?
Pete Rose is not in HOF
Yeah, I missed that when I was taping and then just forgot. My mistake, appreciate you watching
GEORGE BELL was the best of ALL of them
He could really hit the long ball. I remember him hitting like 47 one year when that was an unreal amount.
Jorge Bell (later, "George") rookie ...
Awesome. For some reason that didn't stick with me when I was ripping. Thanks for the reminder and got to wrap him up!
Any Zack Hample cards?
The George Foster All Star is an error card. The all star cards should not have the autograph on them. Topps reissued them without the autograph.
Oh wow! Thank you so much! I will get that wrapped up and feature on the next episode. Is it okay that I use your name or should I say a channel supporter spotted it?

@@thewaxpackdad Look up Larry Andersen and the 1982 "Mr. Jell-O" incident when he played in Seattle.
I never once said that.

Uhhh... unfortunately, Pete Rose is not in the Hall of Fame.
Total fail on my part, good catch.
@@thewaxpackdad Nah, I wouldn't say it's a fail, because he 1000% belongs in there.
^Fortunately*
Definitely should be in the Hall! It sucks that they will wait until he has passed to give him the credit he deserves today.
I'm sure he knows that I think he deserves to be there myself I know what he did
POS Rose not HOF
Pete Rose is not in the hall of fame & he should never get it in.
