Even though it was SCORE, the Baker Mayfield probably worth more than the whole baseball box. Football hands down worth more. Some decent cards in there.

nice football pulls, got the same graded baseball card was the first time grabbing a box of gems of the game. very interested box but nothing great.
I’m looking to jump into collecting I was wondering which mystery box service is better, All about the hobby or Boombox? I’m mainly looking to collect football and basketball cards...and I’m mainly looking for autos and collectors cards(or is there a service better than the ones I mentioned)
The football box almost always treats me good. I’ve pulled decent name autos from that multiple times. Not so much on the baseball version.
I pulled a Buster Posey 1/1 2018 Topps patch letter “P” from the 2017 all star game from a pack that was in a gems of the game. The graded card was a 10 King Felix card last year on a visit to Detroit from a Meijers

Hit brand used to have lots of autos in them of players just entering draft or rookies.
And my sons favorite NFL player is Ezekiel Elliott I noticed that was the graded card in the box.

I actually pulled a ty cob card from the gems of the game. It isnt the one on the box. The one I recieved is the e98 1910 ty cobb but it is only graded 7nm not 8.5 like on the box. I'm assuming it's the best hit I'll ever get regardless of what kind of cards I'm opening. I have been trying to sell it for a few months now and its suprising hard to sell a card worth over 10k dollars. Especially since my ebay wont let me list items for over 1000$ because I haven't sold enough items.
I got gems of the game football one and I got a grade Lamar Jackson and it was worth $80-100

Pulled a Mitch Keller green auto as well as a JD Hammer base auto out of Gallery this weekend.... not terrible but wish it was a couple other cards lol
BCCG grades start at 5, I believe, and the you can compare each single grade to cover 2 grades - so a 10 would be in the 9-10 range, a BCCG 9 would be in the 7-8 ranges, and so on. Makes sense they would have these since these were so cheap to grade. Now BCCG has is discontinued.
I consider their grades to be meaningless. They gave 10s to cards with creases.
I pulled a 1 of 3 bat relic out of one of those Ruth blaster boxes years ago. Still have it. I only bought the one box. It was already opened and I noticed the silver pack with one card in it. Lol
I have a 1/10 bat relic. It sells for $90-$100+ on eBay!
Right before I saw this I opened the baseball one got a 10 Orlando Arcia opening day foil 😭

The score inserts looked really cool. You got some pretty decent rookies as well. QB rookies sell all day
The drew lock card was a pretty good one he is a star player for mizzou and was drafted by the broncos recently and I live in Missouri and know this stuff I also hi fived him pretty nice guy.

Should we not be going by Beckett’s price guide? Because they have the Judge card listed at $3-$4. I can’t remember exactly. Just needing some incite because I’d like to sell most of my doubles.
Ive had some decent pulled outta these boxes...but I've also pulled a graded 88 donruss Chuck Finley out of one too lolol
2015 Topps football was last year Topps produced football cards with Panini getting exclusive rights starting 2016. In my opinion, Topps went all out on the design and types of sub-sets they developed for this set. It is an absolute beautiful set! My favorite and I've been collecting sports cards for better than forty years. (I just turned 50.) I miss Topps football cards. Panini just doesn't have much creativity with there product line and ,to me, makes their sets redundant year after year. Topps had sense enough not to make football cards with air brushed logos and I never have and never will purchase any Panini baseball products. I don't know how long these exclusive rights contracts are, but I hope that Topps obtains it for football some day and I pray they don't ever lose it for baseball. Anyways, I enjoyed hearing you comment on how much you liked the design of the 2015 Topps football. If you ever decide to start collecting football cards, Eric, that would be an excellent place to start.

Calvin Johnson was pretty decent. Future HOF. The graded Ezekiel Elliot is pretty nice. Much better than the baseball pack.

Only ever opened one back of the Babe Ruth Collection by leaf. Came in a Walgreens box. Pulled a 1/3 Babe Ruth bat card. No hate on that product!

2018 Score Is A Nice Set Maybe A Phillip Lindsay Rookie
You’ve got a problem of skipping cards. Not only here, but it reminded me. You once opened a pack of baseball cards and saw that the last card was a Vladimir Guererro. You never got to it. You got to the 2nd to last card and moved on.
I once got a graded Thurman munson rookie card and a keith Hernandez's 1979 card that was signed by him and graded. Not sure if it's the same company. This was like 7 years ago.
The football box definitely had some better names. That Steffon Diggs rookie card from the 2015 Score pack is pretty cool though, but I'm a Vikings fan so don't take my word for it.
E? The best card out of all the score packs was the baker Mayfield rookie card say monster that the best card out of prestige was probably Blake Jarwin rookie card the best outside of leaf draft was probably Jerry Rice

I got super lucky and pulled a 1910 E98 series #22 Larry McLean Red background graded 8 by Beckett BVG.
Mayfield rookie is worth more than the whole baseball box alone!
You got some good rookies in the football box. The sage hit packs and leaf draft are pretty cheap packs but the football box you may have gotten close to your money's worth
Gotta be honest I like the Gems of the Game Baseball box. I opened a box on my channel and I was really happy with what I got!
I opened five of the baseball ones and got the exact same things in every box and the shohei in every box

Noticed... The HBP cards logo are in the corners... WILSON'S is on the left. The second WILSON'S logo is also in the left but, it appears yours is gold(?) stamped... so, maybe it's numbered.
Found one of these boxes last week...got a 10 Kershaw purple Toys R Us card. Guess it could have been worse, at least it’s Topps.
Wow, the football one had decent packs for sure. Chrome and Prestige are both nice, and the rest are lower end but not garbage. The graded card was worse but since they are both bccg its irrelevant.
Looked like you had a rookie card for Jason Witten from the Dallas Cowboys. That card might be worth something. It was in the same pack as calvin johnson from the lions (funky cut out card).
That was a card of Gavin Escobar, not Witten. Witten's rookie cards are from 2003.
I know you posted this 3 weeks ago but I saw Blaze Bortles and realized his little brother Colby played for Ole Miss (the same place D.K. Metcalf and AJ Brown played college ball at) but Colby played baseball there. I believe Colby is know playing in the Minors.
There is some great value in 2018 football because of all the good rookies. Especially Lamar Jackson, his cards are through the roof right now!

The football box was actually pretty decent! The Ohtani is for sale on COMC for $9 BCCG Graded 10, so I guess the baseball was OK, too. Don’t sleep on Justus Sheffield, either 😉

I hit a DeAndre Hopkins auto out of prestige 12/25 and a Cameron artis Payne auto out of score the other week
on the football one the zeke card is 10000x better than what you’ll usually get 9/10 you’ll get a leaf or hit card in there
